I have done business with these folks for several years almost exclusively. I say almost because I went to the store on Meridian Road one time. I learn quickly. The store on S. Came in for an alignment on my 2000 Tacoma. Had my 2 dogs, so took a walk and waited for a call…read moreback. The alignment "tech" called and said my tie rods and steering gear were too worn and sloppy to align. For a mere $ 1,950.00, he could fix what I knew wasn't broken. I told him to hold off and headed back. As a former mechanic and the only one who has maintained this vehicle since new, his scare tactics about my front end being worn out and unserviceable went nowhere. He stuck to his story, so I left. At home, I took the tie rods off and checked that the steering gear was tight; it was. I went back and asked for the manager. I told him what happened and laid the 2 tie rods on the counter. I offered to pay him the 2,000.00 if he could find slop in them; he could not. His excuses about the predatory tactics of his tech were feeble and basically uncaring. I explained that had I been a customer without my knowledge of mechanics, I would have essentially been robbed of 1,950.00. Go elsewhere.

If you are looking for a "full service" wash, where the inside and outside are both taken care of, this is not the place. You do the inside, and they focus on the outside, getting all the bugs and dirt and road grime completely off. As a bonus, the vacuums are free! I'm not sure I'll make this drive again, but if I'm ever in Kalispell with a dirty car again, I will head straight to Pro Clean!

After calling Will's shop and speaking with Riley, she offered for me to bring it in the following morning to run some diagnostics and provide me with an estimate. I brought the vehicle in early that morning, and by the afternoon, I received a call from Will with the results. Unfortunately, the cost of the repair exceeded the value of the vehicle, as it had 200k miles on it, so I am electing to purchase another vehicle. Will was kind enough to email me a detailed itemization of the repair expenses. It was obvious he had put a lot of time into the evaluation and repair estimate, which he did not charge me for. Although I did not utilize his repair services, I can advocate for his professionalism, transparency, and honest business practices. Another important item to note is that I had called about 5 other repair shops around Kalispell and Bigfork, and his shop was the only one that had the equipment and skill set to do the job, besides taking it to the dealership. So if you are looking for a local vehicle repair and service station with impeccable customer service, I would encourage you to give them a call.
