While this is an extra 20 minute drive, this place is hands down much more customer oriented and the people here actually know the product and what they are doing!!! Took my 2 year-old IPhone 4s in for a screen fix and had to stand and listen to the man, who I believe is the owner, talk himself up about how he used to be a body guard and then into the health and beauty biz for years and now he repairs Apple products. Take it from me, he needs to go back to his previous career choices as his knowledge of Apple products was limited at best. I can say this, I used to work at an Apple store in another state before recently moving here. After he got done talking about himself to me, he told me the screen fix would be quick and simple (yes it should have been) and that I could pick it up the next day. Without going into all the boring details, what should have taken 24 hours ended up taking 3 days and the screen application job was awful and then the "touch" functions using my screen stopped 2 days after the work had been done. I took my phone to Arizona iPhone Repair at the suggestion of a co-worker and they immediately confirmed what I assessed was the problem, the screen had not been properly adjusted or applied to my phone, hence the issues after I got it back from Pod Drop. I highly suggest NOT going to this place. It is close to ASU and I'm sure there are many college student who are unfortunately taken advantage of and hit on by the owner during the drop off process as I was - yuck! Drive a little further to be asssured of a professional experience, process and ending result for your money!!!

Guy…read moresaid to meet him at the shop in just thirty minutes because they do mobile repair, that is, they will drive to your home/business and repair your device and he was on a job. No big deal, I wait 45 minutes and drive to the shop, and when I arrive I give the guy a call and he says it'll be another 35 minutes. I sat and waited in the parking lot for that 35 minutes because it was too far from home and not a long enough time to drive there and back. That's the reason for 4 stars. The guys there did a good job on both phones, but they were unrealistic on time. When I said I was bringing my Note 2 in as well (an extra $80 repair), they didn't seem that enthused, but it appears to be working well. I wish they would have given me a timeframe on how long that would've taken because I wound up spending a solid three hours at their shop either sitting in my truck or just waiting on the Note 2's screen to "cure". It's a quality repair place - just give the customer a heads up on how long things take.

My family and I have had the displeasure of doing business with this company 3 times, but I'll just share the issues I've had. Encounter #1: I bought an iPhone 4S off of Craigslist from the owner. I didn't know who he was--it was just your standard Craigslist transaction. The screen had a greenish tint--some other kind of glass? He said it was better, but I can tell you what wasn't better--the screen protruded further than the OEM glass, so the phone would NEVER be able to fit into a normal, protective case. Little did I know I'd be meeting him again. Encounter #2: A few months later, I found that the Facetime had never worked on the phone. Something wrong with a microphone . . . . I searched Craigslist for an iPhone repair person, and that led me to these guys. I brought the phone in. They "fixed" it. I took it home. It wasn't fixed. I took it back at least one more time (might have been two more times) before they actually fixed it correctly. By the end of this encounter, I was pretty frustrated with them. But wait--there's more. I needed two little screws for the bottom of an iPhone 4. How much did he charge me for these 2 little screws? $5. I suppose that price wasn't so bad . . . IF I WAS BUYING 200 OF THEM. But I paid it--I just didn't want to ever see him again. As I left, I thought to myself . . . "hey . . . is this the same guy I bought the phone from????" It sure was. Never, ever, ever do business with these charlatans.

I got an email from Verizon to update my phone or something like that, so I figured what the heck…read moresince my phone was having issues anyway and I had been meaning to contact them. I scheduled the appointment for the update and new screen protector. I got a call the week of the appointment, wanting to discuss the time of the one I selected. I chose Christmas Eve Day, from like 2-5 or something like that. I ended up going a few days earlier since they assured me it would not take the full time slot. It also turned out they are not Verizon but are located near them. They are a small store; they have some phone cases and signs. I waited for someone to come from the back and then we got to talking about my phone's issues. This appointment was not for that- but I was there so what the heck. They said it would not take long, so I went and ate nearby. I came back, and they then informed me there was an app, I think McAfee that was preventing them from doing their job. I told them they could delete it- then they asked if they could delete other apps if needed to do the service. It turned out my phone was okay, but they thought there was a virus & they suggested a full reset. I did that a few days later. The issue I was having is resolved.

It had not given me a low battery warning or anything. But once I brought it they claimed it's the charger port and recommended replacing the battery so I did both because I listened to their recommendation. Spoiler, it was a big mistake. It took a whole MONTH to replace both parts. And when I finally did get it back and bring it home it turns on normally, but guess what error it gives me? If you guessed "unable to detect charger" you'd be correct! So I dropped it back off and showed them pictures and videos of the problem. I had to call back a week later because I hadn't heard anything and they tried to gaslight me into thinking I was wrong and they recommend I buy a new charger cable. Now, to anyone that has more than two braincells, this sounds like a bad original diagnostics or faulty repair and they will not fix the problem so I guess I wasted both time and money. I asked if they would at least give me a discount on a new charger and they said they can't. I originally went there because google reviews have it at 4.8 stars. What a lie. I tried leaving a review there after my experience only to realize it was being shadow banned. Should have checked yelp first, all the reviews here are more realistic.

Took my phone there to get the screen replaced because the flex seal was broken. They told me they…read morewould order the parts same day and the phone would be fixed in two days. Three days later we called and the guy on the phone was very rude and dismissive and said he hadn't even ordered the parts and he didn't know when the phone would be fixed and he would call us when it was done. The next day we went into the store and he handed us the phone supposedly fixed but said he had cracked the back screen while he was fixing it and he would order and replacement free of charge. Cook, but why was he messing with the back of the phone when it was the front of the phone that needed to be fixed? Then minutes later the phone is just about dead. The battery it's draining fast. So we charge it. It gets to 100%. And then an hour later it dies. Something is wrong with it if it can't hold a charge. It wasn't like that when we gave it to them before they replaced the screen. Next thing you know, the phone screen is all glitched out. We can't move it, close it, it won't respond to anything. You can turn it off, but once you open the phone, that glitched out screen is there. While that's happening, the phone smells terrible, like burning glue or nail polish remover. At that point, I'm completely done. We are going back tomorrow and demanding they fix what they damaged or that they refund us completely. Because this is absolutely ridiculous. They also did not give us a receipt when we initially paid, or tell us that the phone screen we got was not under warranty and instead of us paying through the store computer. The guy pulled out a phone and had us tap to pay through there. And then next transaction pulled out a different phone and had us tap to pay through there. They are scratchy and deceptive and I warn all who see this, STAY AWAY. Find someplace else to get your phones and electronics fixed. If I could rate no stars or even negative stars I would. I paid over 400$ for them to give me back a phone that was in even worse condition than when I gave it to them.
