I went to this Cellaris in Windward Parkway and asked how much was the total price to replace a cracked screen on a cell phone they give me a price and left a deposit and when I got there they had a different price from what we discussed on the original agreement for over $100 so I tried to explain that that's not the price we agreed on but the guy was so rude about it and he said that in the contract he could change prices because it's stipulated on the contract so because of that paper they play with the price. Went to Cellaris location on Windward Parkway in Alpharetta GA to get battery replaced in an Ipad that losing its charge quickly. Started with a phone call to get cost and asked what the process was - they indicated the battery was not in stock and had to be ordered. Went in location to pay for battery as they indicated it would be a few days. This is my 94 year old Aunts form of entertainment so I kept the Ipad as it was functional and planned to drop off at a later time. When dropping off the Ipad, they asked if I knew the passcode and I offered to call and get - they responded "that's OK" indicating it was not needed. They asked then if I was aware the screen would have to be removed to replace the battery and if cracked during this process I would be responsible. It would have been nice to have this information before I paid for the service earlier, but I rolled the dice hoping it would not crack. Received call a couple days later that the Ipad was ready and went in to pick the unit up- no cracked screen! Dropped Ipad off with Aunt only to find out screen was not working as the screen had dead spots. OK - it happens...Right, just take back and they can look at? Took unit back and they said any repairs were on me. I indicated the risk explained to me was around screen cracking during screen removal. I asked for the manager and he proceded to lecture me with an attitude on how this could have been an existing issue with the unit. Really? This is where this is going? I then inquired to ask what the protocol was when a device is brought in and how they test the unit. Manager opened up his magic white binder to let me know unit was DOA when brought in. I asked why would you have not plugged it in as it was only a battery issue? Manager responded that it was DOA did not have the code therefore testing was not done. Now they need the code? 3 visits to location and receive 3 different stories as far as what the risks were around the battery installation and the screen. Basically any issue past the initial fix is on the customer and everything becomes my word against their word situation. I have socks older than the people - Zero customer service and focus on the customer. I asked for the franchise owners name and they said they were not permitted to give that information. If I were an owner of a small business, I would want to know if this was how customers were treated - Go to the Apple store! read more

Broken iPad mini screen and after a year I decided to bring it in and have it repaired. The repair itself was $120 and I purchased a case/glass bundle that warranties my iPad once registered. Overall it brought a broken iPad back to life and for that I'm grateful. A little steep but I think money well spent. I'm pretty happy with the experience here. read more

I got in contact with corporate, who put me in contact with the owner/manager of this location. He was very customer orientate and helpful. I went back to the location at his direction to get a functional display put in, and what I get there they tell me they are also giving me a complimentary case and screen protector for my troubles. Wow! Above and beyond! The owner was night and day compared to the people I originally met with in the store, and the two who were in the store when I went back were very good. I would recommend this location. They redeemed themselves from my initial bad experience! ======= Edit ======== They installed a defective display, yet refuse to even acknowledge the malfunctions... They say they back it with a warranty, but they don't acknowledge it when it doesn't work. They don't care about you or your satisfaction. Would not recommend. read more

Bad Service & No Refunds if they break your property... I brought in a fully-functional iPad, but with a cracked screen. Asked if they could fix it... They said yes. Went through the documentation process showing everything worked on the iPad. While in their possession, the iPad stopped working completely. They refused to provide a refund of the $265+ I paid. I escalated to "corporate" who told me the local store told them the iPad was DOA (a Lie) and therefore not eligible for a refund. Bottom line: I brought an ipad in to be fixed... they said they could fix it. They ended up breaking it and keeping my money. Now I am out an iPad AND $265+. read more

I purchased two of their bundle contracts for my twin girls that was suppose to cover the protective screen replacement(s) and touch display. Two months after purchasing I went back in as expected with teenage girls, one of the screens was cracked in the corner. The manager informed me we were suppose to load an app on the phone with in 30 days or the contract was void. I informed him he never mentioned this app and when he reprinted our receipt there is nothing that calls out the app as well. Both of my girls were with me and they also said they never heard him mention an app when we purchased the bundle. So $300 for nothing and when I call their corporate office I continue to get recording promising a call back in one business day. Three calls later and still no call back. Total BS!!! read more

Will not commit to a time or day of repair. They said I was next in line for a whole day. Told them to call if it wasn't gonna be on the second day. They did not call. When I called and found out it was delayed another day, I took it to ubreakifix and they fixed in 1 hour. I should have not left it in the first place, as they had a young person watching sponge bob frantically trying to fix a device and calling for help the night I dropped it off. Good odds you see a frustrated customer when you walk in. Save yourself the time and frustration. read more

I win the Darwin Award. I laid my cell phone top of my bag and put it in the basket at the bottom of my son's stroller. I loaded said stroller into my car forgetting my bag was in there. My bag fell to the ground. I picked up my bag but neglected to grab my cell phone. As I was backing out of my parking spot, I felt a "bump." I chalked it up to something being in the road and went on with my drive. I was at home for over 2 hours when I realized I hadn't heard the sound of a text message or email coming from my phone. Thinking this was odd, I turned over every piece of furniture in my home trying to find my phone. After 20 minutes, it dawned on me that the "bump" in the parking was actually my cell phone. Derrrrrrrr. I drove back over to the parking lot. Amazingly, my phone was still on the ground. It looked like a hot mess which is probably why nobody stole it. Who would want a mangled carcass of cell phone? It still turned on, though, which was absolutely crazy. The LCD screen did not work. My cell phone contract didn't expire for a few months. There was no way I was about to shell out $500 to buy a new phone. I brought my phone to Cellaris in hopes that they could salvage it. They did. For that alone, I am grateful. The repair itself was over $100 but well worth it compared to what my cell phone provider would charge me to get a new phone. The phone did some glitchy things over the next few months which was to be expected when a blonde drives over it with 2 ton piece of machinery. The phone did what I needed, though - it lasted me until my contract was up and I could get a brand new phone for a much more reasonable price. Was my lesson learned? I'd like to say yes, but I still unfortunately manage to do some really, really, really stupid things with my phone. read more

If I could give a lower rating to this Company and shop, I would. However, negative stars are not possible. I brought my iPad in to have the cracked screen replaced. Cellairis did this for $99, and at first the job seemed good. However... Within 3 weeks, the screen began lifting and the bottom right corner cracked completely off, leaving a gaping hole in the screen. I took the iPad back and explained the situation to the poor guy behind the desk. He began by telling me that Cellairis can't take responsibility: it was OK when they gave it back to me and that the liability waiver I was forced to sign to get it fixed meant that it wasn't their fault anyway. Bottom line: I could pay another $99 to fix it again if I wanted. No thanks. I've had screens on iPhones and iPads replaced before and the work was always good and lasted until the device was recycled. Not here. Essentially, Cellairis refused to accept responsibility for a shite repair job that has resulted in an almost unusable iPad. I must therefore give fair warning to anyone reading this; AVOID Cellaris and this particular shop. They do poor work, take no responsibility, and blame the customer for their own poor efforts. Just started new position - my cell phone is my work phone and the charging port died that morning. I happened to remember a cell phone fix-it place nearby (Cellairis) and asked for help. I'm in a huge rush to get to work and needed the phone to work before leaving the store. They were tremendous, patient, and very helpful. They offered different solutions and patiently tried a couple of options. They did not nickle and dime me for the service - I bought a replacement phone and was happy to buy even more items from them. Great service read more

My daughter took her iPhone 6 to these guys to have her screen repaired and they F$&ked it up and told her it was the mother board and gave her the phone in disrepair. Now they want answer the phone! That's ok because I am going there first to try and resolve this hoping not to to get into it with them. The phone worked prior to this how now is it the mother board bullshit! If I could rate it zero, I would. I had a horrible experience with the place. I went in to get the glass on my ipad replaced and if you care anything about your electronics, I would go to apple to get it done right even though it would be more expensive. The first time I got it back, the screen started popping up on one side. When I called to get it replaced, I had to wait until the white screen came in (the manager said he would call me when it got in, but never did, so finally I called back and found out it was in). So after that got in, I took it back to be fixed and was told he would call me when it was ready and it should be that evening. Well, once again he never called. So I figured the next day I would just go in and get it since it was supposed to be finished the day before. When I was looking it, the other guy there noticed the screen still wasn't sticking all the way down, so he was going to fix (again-3rd time). This guy actually did call me when it was ready, unfortunately the next day, it started popping off again. So I finally went in for a fourth repair and it was another guy, he actually got the screen on by using 3 times as much glue, but now my ipad freaks out all the time, as I'm sitting here writing this review on my computer, I see my ipad randomly zooming in and out while i'm not even touching it. Also, the sensors must off now because it doesn't always open or type the thing I'm clicking on. I wish I could go back in time and never waste my time there. And wasted money because I don't know how much longer I can take my facetime calling everyone in my log even though I'm not even touching it, so I'll probably just have to buy a whole new ipad now or take it to apple to get it fixed for 3 times the price (which I should've just done in the first place). read more

Higher than Apple. Too much hassle about discounts etc. Wanted to charge me $179 for glass replacement for iPhone 6+.

Went in today to get my iPhone screen replaced and to also get them to see why two other iPhones stopped working and they got them working and they exchanged the phones for the amount due to replace my phone screen that was Horribly cracked lol they had to replace the lcds on both the other phones that's why they stopped working and one also had a bad internal battery. I will Definitely go back soon and pay the $60, or $70 bundle that is good for 3 years if my phone screen was cracked again they would replace for free Having the bundle also it comes with a case and screen protector. Also they put a screen protector on my phone and didn't charge me for the screen protector nor for putting in on my phone. Mason was a Great help and very friendly and professional and knowledgeable. Definitely would recommend this location. I know they have another Cellairis in the Walmart also right near there but they don't open for a hour or 2 later I believe . read more

Do not go to this place!!! Go to apple and it costs about the same price. I went to this store and they messed it up, I didn't get my phone back for a month. When they gave me my phone back they said they replaced the battery without asking me. The 3rd party battery sucks and it dies fast. Always go to apple. read more

this cellarius is the best!! I cracked my iPad and I've been needing it fixed for a while because I need it for school. Harmeet was so great and fixed it perfectly. some of the keys weren't working but he fixed that too!! I'll be sure to come back next time I crack one of my devices!! read more
