The young man who is named J.J. gave me a number of wonderful ideas for my wifes upcoming birthday on the 25th of September. He really assisted me by going out of his way to call my wife and direct her on how to make a boutique appointment for specialized shopping needs. Here, security kept me waiting outside while people were leaving, even though I was shopping alone. I understand stores may control entry, but the interaction made me feel singled out. The regular sales employees were fine. My concerns were with security and the manager on duty. At checkout, the manager mentioned that he would be working at another location the following day. In the context of his other comments, I felt he was implying that I intended to buy the shoes and return them there the next day. That was not my intention. I cannot know what motivated their behavior, but as a Black customer, I left feeling profiled rather than welcomed. I completed my purchase, but the experience took away from what should have been an enjoyable visit. Customers deserve respectful service without assumptions about their intentions based on appearance. Any questions about returns should be addressed by explaining the policy professionally.

There are two rooms; I think one room has all the women's jeans and the other has all the men's jeans. There are these long, huge curtains that cover up a little nook - it's the changing room. Neta knew immediately what size I was by just looking at my figure. We both picked out different washes and styles of jeans I could try on. There were many different styles that I would never have picked out that I got to try on and LOVED. I was so surprised! Who would've thought I would actually like bell bottom cropped jeans? :) My petite ladies, if you have trouble finding good jeans in your size, come here as well. I'm 5' 2" and have always had trouble finding good jeans that aren't a bajillion inches longer than my ankles. All the jeans I tried on fit me like a glove. I won't need to get them personally tailored/hemmed. The whole process took about an hour; not once did Neta rush or pressure me to purchase something. She was so sweet, funny, and personable.
