I recently purchased a watch from Cartier Beverly Hills and experienced two very different levels of service that felt important to share. Working with SA Brenna B. was exceptional. She is warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely enjoyable to work with. She walked me through multiple watch options and sizing, handled a ring exchange with professionalism and grace, and made the experience feel fun and personal. The following day, after researching watch options online, I returned to exchange my Ballon Bleu for another watch. Brenna was not working that day but had arranged for another associate to assist me. I originally had an appointment with Albert, but his prior appointment ran long, so I was assisted by JUDY. I had confirmed in advance that commission would still be credited to Brenna. From the start, the tone of this visit with JUDY felt rigid and difficult. Before I could browse, I was immediately asked for my receipt and Judy closely scrutinized my prior day's receipt. - I was told that because the next watch was approximately $100 less, the difference might not be refunded to my card and could instead be issued as store credit, which was concerning (less than 24 hours from purchase, why would it be a credit and not a refund?) - I was also told that because links had been removed for sizing on the Ballon Bleu (all were returned in the box), the exchange would be difficult and an exception, despite having previously confirmed with Brenna that sizing would not impact the return as long as the watch was unworn and all links returned. - I was made to feel as though the exchange was problematic. - After selecting the new watch, I was informed the transaction would be considered a "final sale," because I had previously exchanged a ring that did not fit before deciding on a watch. This was surprising, as everything was well within the 30-day return window and the watch had been purchased less than 24 hours earlier. When I expressed concern, Judy returned with a manager, Amanda, who reiterated that the watch would be "final sale" and advised me to be "certain I liked it." Involving a manager felt unnecessary, leaving me uncomfortable. Luxury purchases are meaningful, and the experience should feel consistent, positive, and special. An sales associate's demeanor shapes how a client experiences the brand. I want to commend Brenna B. and I also wish I had been assisted by Albert, as both demonstrated warmth, flexibility, and client-focused service. Following this visit, I contacted the office and spoke with President & CEO of North America Walter Bolognino's assistant, Megan, who confirmed there is NO POLICY stating that the use of a credit makes a watch "final sale," and that the information I was given was incorrect. When we walked in, the associate who helped us was a shorter brunette black woman with hair nicely down (I believe her name was India) didn't greet us warmly, there was no smile or welcoming energy. I mentioned that I'd never been to a Cartier store before and was just interested in looking around. As I started browsing, I saw some rings and asked for a ballpark price out of curiosity. Her response was "$1,000,000," which came off as dismissive and sarcastic rather than helpful. I then asked, "What quality of diamond is it--like VVS?" She hesitated, chuckled, looked off to the side, and said "I don't know... probably IF (internally flawless)." The interaction felt awkward and unprofessional. It should not take half an hour for someone to go over items that just need to be repaired. Came here with an appointment to exchange my love bracelet to a different size. Upon arrival, there were two ladies at the front desk. No greeting whatsoever. I introduced myself and said I had an appointment at 10:30am. One of the ladies demanded to see my receipt right away. I had everything packed in a bag but her attitude made me feel unwelcome. I recently had the opportunity to purchase a new watch as a gift for my wife at the Cartier Beverly Hills store. Despite they were in a "temporary" store while their primary location was being renovated, it was stunning. Overall, I was impressed by the sales service and overall selection. They had all the styles of watches in different sizes and precious metals. The sales experience was great, 5 stars. However, we had to go back to get some links removed. We made a reservation and overall the process of getting into the store for our appointment was ok. That said, it took a long time to get a few links removed and that would have been ok but then we left and while inspecting the watch again, noticed that the band was not replaced correctly. We immediately turned around on Rodeo and went back in. Literally gone less than 2 minutes and the front desk and service area had no idea who we were nor that we just had a service done. Furthermore, the person who serviced our watch reportedly claimed to have never seen it in order not to take ownership of the mistake. Definitely 2-3 star at best for that experience. Overall, I would recommend the store and definitely a Cartier watch but I do believe they could improve the service experience a bit. read more

I have gone to Cartier on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills yesterday 12/14/2024 around 4:00pm. I was planning to get a beautiful bracelet for my mom as a surprise for this Christmas since Cartier is her long time dreamed brand. I was guided by an Asian lady who has black long hair and big black color contact lens on, and I told her I would love to get a bracelet budget around $3000. She showed me only two bracelets LOVE BRACELET, ON CHAIN and LOVE BRACELET, ON CHAIN, 2 DIAMONDS and told me that's all they have at Cartier and everything else would be over budget for me so she can't show me because I would not be able to afford any other ones, plus those designs are more for younger person and not suitable for an old woman like my mom 64 years old. She was so condescending to me and I felt very embarrassed even being there. My husband and I were very discouraged to get anything and left. We almost felt like we got kicked out. I am not sure why I got treated like that because I am also Asian or my budget was too low. Going to Cartier store in person were very special to me and I hoped to have a beautiful experience for find a perfect gift, but unfortunately, it was truly a devastating experience and ruined my special plan for Christmas. A while back I wanted to buy my wife something special for a big anniversary and knew she loved Cartier, but I was a bit daunted and expected an intimidating experience. It turned out to be anything but. Maria helped me pick out a gorgeous ring that was perfect, and she could not have been more warm and helpful and not intimidating in the least. Most importantly my wife loved it so much and wears it every day. From that experience I have returned quite a few times, often for just a modest gift, like sunglasses, as well as for a few more nicer pieces. I brought my mother in recently to pick out a nice birthday gift, but it ultimately didn't work out. Nevertheless, I was never made to feel even the slightest bit of pressure or discomfort about it. I've also introduced Maria to friends to help them pick out something really lovely too and she helped them brilliantly as well. I can't believe that I have not written a review for this location. I remember going here with my parents. I was at their service center yesterday. As I was talking to Melissa (service center representative), I asked if Patricia Didier still worked at their Beverly Hills location. She pointed her out to me. Melissa tried to take the screws off of my Love bracelet. She then asked her watch repair person to do us a favor of trying to take the screws off. I informed her that I had an MRI in 4 hours. She saw that I was highly upset that a Cartier service center suggested using Loctite for the screws, and now no one was able to take it off. I informed her that I tried numerous methods that were used by others who had the same problem. The use of alcohol, acetone, oil, heat, and even peanut butter did not work in loosening the screws. Peanut butter was a suggestion on Loctite's site. She then referred me to a jeweler who might be able to help me. With Love bracelet still stuck on my hand. I went downstairs to speak to Patricia Didier. It was a true pleasure talking to her. I told her that I now need 6 screws that were damaged because of the Loctite suggestion. She apologized for the inconvenience. She suggested that I bring the bracelets to the service center in order to get the correct screws for the Love bracelets. The suggestion of a previous service center representative of using Loctite deserves 1 star. Melissa Rincon at the service center deserves 5 stars. Thanks to her referral, I did not have to cancel my MRI appointment. I would highly recommend Patricia Didier if you need to purchase a Cartier item(s). She was the person my parents purchased from. I asked to see a few items, including the classic love ring and the pave love ring, juste un clou. I tried them on and loved them and asked about scratches since I thought perhaps I should go with the pave ring so it's less noticeable. Her response was "if you are so worried about scratches, you shouldn't buy those rings." Whoa, I was just trying to make an informed decision.
