They have great service--that would be Sak's. Now I will never buy another piece again or allow my husband to go there to get me a gift. My husband bought me this tiny emerald necklace that looked like it was made for a teen. Okay, he did not know better so take it back, I hate it and while there put my Yurman watch in for service. They had nothing else we wanted. Their selection had grown cold. The worst part is their service. First, had they asked this 69 year old man, how old is your wife, maybe they would have known this overpriced junk was not made for a senior. They always did that at Sak's and I never returned one thing he bought there. They asked questions--you know to help. Anyway, he was able to return the necklace. My refund is still not on my card and they better get it done. Now, the worst. My husband said this Yurman watch needs service. They told him we don't do that at all but there may be a place down the street. They offered him no help at all. When he came home after wasting his time, I called them and was told of course we have service, we send it off to NY and they repair. I told them maybe their employees should know this. No apology. Nothing. I have found a place to take the watch on Rodeo in Beverly Hills with no help at all from Yurman. I am appalled. I have over 200K in jewelry from them. But they clearly don't value or care about me or my husband so I am done. But hey, my daughter will be happy with all my Yurman she will get from our safe. I am so done. I'm a big David Yurman fan. The pieces are beautiful, but the real reason I love this brand is that there is truly something for everyone. Silver jewelry is naturally more affordable, but David Yurman offers so much beyond that. It is a wide-ranging brand that caters to all tastes. Their store is currently being remodeled around the corner, so this is a temporary location. Even so, it is still lovely, with plenty on display and even more available if you ask. On our recent visit, we picked up a few pieces for our son. I have always taught him to value quality over junk, and David Yurman is definitely quality. Our associate, Christopher, was patient, helpful, and even followed up with a thank-you email, which was a wonderful touch. Our family owns many Yurman pieces, some of which I have gifted to my sons. So this was our 2nd visit to the David Yurman store for a wedding band for me. Our first visit was amazing as Christopher attended to us and gave A plus service. I appreciate being treated well when making a purchase and/or browsing. When my wife and I visited we were looking for a wedding band. The associate who helped me seemed friendly enough until I decided on the $800 ring versus the $2000 ring and she couldn't get me out fast enough. I went wedding ring shopping and was so looking forward to trying on rings at David yurman! Unfortunately, the associate who helped me was pretty unfriendly. I saw a lot of people getting brought champagne, etc. but I couldn't even get a water. I asked to try on a few different rings but was unilaterally told they wouldn't look good with my engagement ring and she refused to bring them out for me to try on. The associate also said I could text her for info about the rings I ended up liking, so when I didn't see one I had tried on the website, I texted her about it. I love this place. We stopped in to get my wife a late Valentine's gift. Christopher is knowledgeable and attentive and texted my wife when he got in the piece (less expensive) of jewelry she wanted to to look at. She wanted to make sure her new bracelet would not clash with her existing. Christopher was patient and courteous and made great suggestions and offered alternatives. I like this store, these are temporary digs on Brighton as the other store is being remodeled. My dog was welcomed, offered water and an open invitation to come in any time for an espresso. We received great service from Masih today while shopping for a new wedding band for my husband. He was friendly, knowledgeable and offered insight on how the ring should fit and of the many different metals and sizes for the men's bands which helped a lot. We've purchased a few men's wedding bands from David Yurman since my husband loves them but have received terrible service from people at the Americana David Yurman a every time so this Beverly Hills location will be our go to spot from now on. We weren't sure how the service would be since it's right on Rodeo but Masih treated us very kindly and was patient while my husband decided between different ones. We thought it was weird he gave us a different (small and cheaper) box than the other ones we've received before. My husband keeps his rings in the boxes in pristine condition but Masih said they don't come in the premium signature packaging that snap close anymore and instead gave us a small and cheap little necklace box. Weird.. I do wish David Yurman had a better exchange policy and stood behind the quality of their items more but my husband loves the affordable bands and we'll keep coming back until we find a different brand. read more

My ex-girlfriend bought me a $400 tigers eye bracelet from David Yurman for my birthday which was just over a month ago. I went in to get it sized and they said it would cost $100. I declined, and as I was there, I saw a similar bracelet with bigger beads, and it happened to fit me a little better. It cost about $25 more, mainly because it supposedly had a better LOCKING MECHANISM. Really nice bracelet, most definitely not worth anything near $400 for reasons I will get into. This past Sunday I went to the beach with my friends. Long story short, UNPROVOKED, the bracelet broke while I was in the deeper end of the ocean, and as I tried to grasp for the beads, I lost essentially the whole thing. I gave up and let it sink to the ocean floor. After being super upset and pissed, I called David Yurman to express my displeasure of such a costly item, which was represented to me to have a even better locking mechanism as the previous bracelet, result in breakage. A $400 bracelet, broken, and ultimately gone, after a period of 4 months. I called David Yurman's customer care. They felt for my situation. I thought they would make it right. I thought they would honor a replacement of the same exact bracelet. After it breaking so soon, after a "quality item" breaking so soon. They seemed as though they were going to replace it. But then, they said that since I exchanged the bracelet at the store, that I would need to go to the store to have them make it right. Of course, that never happened. Oh, but they did offer me a FIFTEEN PERCENT discount! To buy the SAME JUNK!!! I am truly, truly disgusted. David Yurman does not stand by their products. They are cheaply made, garbage products, and all you are paying for is a name that has no value or principle. I will never ever shop there again. Oh and I had to AWKWARDLY get my ex girlfriend involved for no good reason (to show proof of purchase)... after they made it seem as though they were going to do something for me. The "inventory control manager" Kelly King, should never ever deal in customer service because he has no idea how to speak or make sense of a garbage situation, that he made worse, by way of his involvement. The staff has NO credibility or integrity whatsoever. I came in a week ago with my husband because he wanted to surprise me with a ring I had been wanting while we were visiting LA. They didn't have my size and only had a size 10. This annoyed me because I wanted to purchase the ring right then and there, but that wasn't possible. Okay, whatever it's out of anyone's control. I got my finger sized just to make sure what size I would be if I didn't get it that day. The sales associate assured me that she could order it and it would be sent to our house promptly. Dani is AWESOME. We came in to look at a ring that my boyfriend has been admiring online for a while. Turns out it was pretty limited but Dani was able to ship us the last one in his size in the entire company. She was super patient with us and patiently let us try on pretty much every piece of jewelry in the store. She never made us feel pressured to buy anything AND gave us her opinions on various pieces. We came back on valentines day to pick up the ring (she was so sweet and actually also ordered us a size up just in case the one we got didn't fit). The ring was beautiful and everything that we were looking for. So then it was time for me to shop! I told Dani a couple of things I was looking for and she helped me choose a couple of things to try on. After listening to me tell her what I liked and disliked (and dealing with me making her look at grainy pictures of my favorite earrings on my phone) about what I was trying on she told me she knew a pair that I would love. I am torn while writing this review because it's, admittedly but only to a degree, not store specific. It's a beautiful store, with casual vibe and helpful staff that are eager to sell what I find to be often gorgeous pieces. I am a fan of DY, with 2 prior purchases from the store and therefore decided to get 2 bracelets in July. My first problem came up in October, just 3 months after spending 4-digit amount on silver cable bracelet. The entire thing tore up during normal wear and I had to take it in for repairs, and to my surprise it turned out that their products are sold without warranty. I find this to be an admission of guilt, of sorts, especially in an industry of Tiffany's, Cartier where the warranty policy is more of the no-questions-asked customer service. They fixed my problem, and charged me well for it. The unexpected added price was having to listen to a sales staff telling me what things I did wrong and how under some fairly specific conditions they would stand behind their product. It's just that Mercury was descending into some moon and I had failed to follow undisclosed policy. I picked up the item and inquired about extended warranty, or something to give me peace of mind that I won't find myself having the same conversation in January - to which, this policy lady smiled and said that it comes as is, once again. But see, if it broke again in a month (-ish, or two), they'd fix it. Armed with this sea of reassurance I just left and would rethink a future purchase twice. I lived in Beverly Hills for ten years and the number of times I shopped on Rodeo Drive is 0, never, none. I've always looked at Rodeo Drive as a tourist trap so they can pay a huge mark up because the item was purchased on Rodeo Drive. I recently went though a break up of a relationship and my ex-girlfriend had given me a small David Yurman bracelet. I loved the bracelet but only wear things that have meaning to me. So, I sent her back the bracelet and went on a quest for a replacement. Went to two different Bloomingdales and the bracelet that they had that we "thought" was the same, simply wasn't. It was frustrating. I still have to go into Beverly Hills every other week to go to my hair stylist. So I decided to stop at David Yurman's Rodeo Drive location. Walking in, I had this attitude from experiences I have had and things people have told me, that the employees at the stores on Rodeo are pretentious and Snobby. I walked into the Store where there was a clerk behind the counter. She introduced herself to me as Dani (Danielle). Before we even began "the search" Dani offered me a bottle of water and was exceptionally friendly, highly professional, knew her product and helped me to hunt down the same bracelet. Without being pushy or giving me any type of hard sell, Dani also asked me if I'd like to see some other similar bracelets. Long story short, I ended up buying a beautiful new bracelet that was almost double the cost but larger and more fitting for my desire. I absolutely LOVE the new bracelet, am completely comfortable with the price difference. Dani then followed up a few days later with a very kind and thoughtful email. It's hard to find good help in retail these days anywhere, especially BH. Dani is top notch, one of the best and most helpful I've experienced since the sixties. David Yurman is not inexpensive but makes beautiful jewelry and accessories. If you're in the market for a gift, something for yourself or any of these products, especially men's bracelets, I'd highly recommend taking a ride to DY's Rodeo location and hope that you luck out and Dani is working and available. I had a major milestone birthday last week and was gifted with a beautiful David Yurman mens bracelet. I was thrilled as the bracelet is just gorgeous! Unfortunately the bracelet was too big for my wrist so I visited the Rodeo drive store to exchange it for one that fit properly. I had never been in a David Yurman store before and I have to say I was quite impressed! Every retail organization should study the customer service experienced offered by the David Yurman staff. A gentlemen named Kelly assisted me and he could not be more accomodating! It turned out they did not have my size inventory, but Kelly quickly located another store that did and offered to have it shipped to my home overnight. Thank you Kelly! The next morning the bracelet arrived but the store that sent it again sent the wrong size. I went back to the Rodeo store and was assisted by Laura. Again, world class customer service! She had measured the bracelet and confirmed the other store has sent the same size I had originally returned. Laura is in the process of locating the bracelet in my size. If they no longer have the size I will have to choose something else. No big deal. The staff at this David Yurman are the rudest I've ever experienced. I came in with a damaged ring that I wanted to get repaired. The first staff associate that I spoke with laughed and asked if my ring was from Tiffany's down the street and mentioned that he didn't recognize it. He assured me that my ring couldn't be David Yurman and demanded that I needed my receipt. The next staff member he passed me off to mentioned that the ring couldn't be David Yurman because he didn't recognize it....after flipping through a catalog and speaking with someone else, he apologized and said that the ring was from a newer collection which is why he didn't recognize it.
