Had the best experience today at Love Shack Fancy in Newport Beach! I met Kelsey today and she helped me pick out the cutest ski outfit! She was so accommodating and sweet. Perfect customer service. She is doing an amazing job working there and spreading smiles and great customer service. Love this place! I will definitely be coming back. Beautiful location as well.

Quality is not there. I ordered the white marsinia dress in my usual size small after I had purchased the pink version on Shopbop and loved it. I received a stretched out dress that I suspect was tried on by someone too big. I also ordered matching dresses for my 2 daughters and I received 2 different cuts. See the pictures if the 2 dresses that are 1 size apart for my 3 and 4 year old daughters. Now I have to send it back for a refund minus the handling shipment fee which was no fault of my own for sending me poor quality items.

I love love LSF!! It's called LoveShackFancy, all one word with capital letters L, S and F. LSF opened this new store during pandemic. It's so essential that I give it a big THUMBS UP. I love Love LSF when Becky opened her first store in the Hamptons. So glad that she opened a such beautiful store right in my back yard here on Melrose Pl. If you love very pretty and adorable girly wear, you must stop by when you're in the neighborhood. I shop here, and also on their website all the time!! The girls working here are so so nice. I love love them. Everything is so beautiful here that it's so hard to leave this store empty handed. Highly highly recommend you all shop this place!

Such a cute store!! I didn't buy anything during my visit, but the salespeople there are super friendly and nice. The store has impeccable decor both inside and outside. I absolutely loved the experience of window shopping here!

This is such a beautiful boutique. All things pretty and lovely. The decor style is thoughtful and sweet. The clothing is luxurious yet dainty, beautiful, yet refined. Gorgeous blends of lace, linen, silk and cotton garments artfully mixed with traditional feminine floral prints and patterns of soft pastel color schemes. It is the millennial version of Rachelle Ashwell... I couldn't stop drooling over the calm esthetics and whispy rose vines curling around every nook and cranny filling the corners and cascading down from the industrial white ceilings. The sprinkle of shabby furniture and Parisian accents really tied the whole space together with one their over-sized giant Floral linen bow valances. The clothing style reminds me of ZIMMERMAN, and vintage GUCCI but with a twist. The employee working on my visit mirrored the brand to a fault. Thank you so much for bringing back the softer side to female apparel. There's no way you won't feel pretty when you walk through the doors of LOVE SHACK FANCY, and there's no reason why you shouldn't!

They used to have separate stores for men and women, not sure if that's still a thing but it made it easier to browse depending on your style preferences. I've sold here plenty of times, and the commission is fair for what you're getting. The shopping experience is smooth, and the store offers a great mix of authentic, pre owned designer pieces. If you're into luxury consignment, it's worth a visit.

I have been both a buyer and a consignor with The RealReal for years, which makes this review…read moreparticularly disappointing to write. Most recently, I received an Officine Générale turtleneck that had been described as being in "Very Good" condition. It arrived with significant pilling, appeared dirty, and smelled strongly of cheap women's perfume. It was not remotely consistent with the condition advertised. What happened next was even more troubling. I contacted Customer Service expecting a straightforward acknowledgment and resolution. Instead, I received responses that repeatedly failed to address the actual issue being raised. The conversation devolved into a discussion about whether I would accept compensation based on the purchase price of the item, despite my making it abundantly clear that I had no interest in keeping it at any price. The concern was misrepresentation and quality control. I cannot recall another customer service interaction that felt this tone deaf. As someone who has worked with major organizations, including Apple and Spectrum, on matters involving customer experience and communication, I can honestly say I will use this exchange as an example of exactly what not to do. Customers understand that mistakes happen. What they do not forget is being ignored when they clearly articulate a legitimate concern. My concerns extend beyond this single transaction. As a consignor, I have increasingly questioned whether the standards applied to sellers are consistent or fair. A pair of Tod's loafers yielded a net payout to me of just $9.72. A brand-new pair of Theory shoes, still in the box with tags and obviously never worn, was graded only as "Good" condition and generated a payout of $7.00. The RealReal positions itself as a luxury marketplace. Luxury is not just a logo or a price point. It is attention to detail, thoughtful service, accurate representation, and respect for both buyers and consignors. Unfortunately, this experience failed on every one of those measures. Mistakes happen. Indifference should not.

Does Flirt Clothing live up to its name?…read more If you're expecting an inanimate building to ask your name and number, then no. And if you're expecting the employees to ask you "come here often?" before motioning the barkeep to bring you another of whatever you're having, then still, NO. Or maybe yes. Just not with me. Pffft. The clothes are definitely fun and flirty, though -- if you wear them. Flirt is the typical Melrose kitsch store -- one-offs and private labels abound. Not too many jean choices (mostly charcoal gray), and not that many T-shirts, but the ones they have will have you going gaga, lady. What's a boy like me doing reviewing an exclusively girl's store? Well, I have no intention of wearing that off-the-shoulder blouse or sundress (hmm... with the right belt and handbag, I -- nevermind), but the store is definitely a pleasant place, even if you're just waiting on girls to finish trying things on. You can stand there awkwardly listening to the early 1990s era boombox that's pumping out KISS FM all day (Lil Wayne seems determined to make me his fan), or check yourself out in the mirrors on the wall. "Oh you are quite the looker, aren't you..." Anyway, speaking of incredible, psychologically unhealthy narcissism (or not, whatever), the pink-curtained dressing rooms have matching pink folding chairs -- everything in the store has either touches or tons of pink, which sounds like a Hello Kitty nightmare but is actually kind of cute in a flamingo-pecked-my-eyes-out way. When you try things on, it's with a soft background of Pepto Bismo, but it does make that hotgasmic pair of koolats stand out in palatial, plaid glory. Sweet Heavens, but you're beautiful. Now close your curtain -- that weird tattoo guy with his tattooier girlfriend can see your thong. Hey, the stuff you're trying on is on sale, too! At least a fourth of the store is half off, so you'll have more money left over to blow on things like shoes, handbags, and rent. Service is fast, friendly, and helpful -- they'll make useful suggestions that aren't lame attempts at plus-selling. Flirt Clothing does lose one star because they forgot to remove a security tag on a $240 hobo bag. Now I'm going to have to come back tomorrow -- with receipt -- to have them remove it because SOMEBODY'S too busy (*cough* gainfully employed) to do so herself. I'm going to play like it's mine. It looks cuter on me anyway :-)

This is a nice store that carries clothing and accessories that you probably won't find at most…read moreother clothing shops on Melrose Ave. Most of the stores on this street tend to carry the same type of clothing. I bought a beautiful purple scarf with brown leopard spots on it the other day. The material was like that of a soft sweater. It was only $19.00. I could've gotten a better deal on it if I bargained with the lady there, but I didn't since the price was already low. Also, she was nice and showed me how to tie it since I wasn't sure how to wear it. I always leave scarves untied up until now. She showed me and it was easier than it I thought it would be. I really appreciated that. Also, it was great that she could actually break a $100.00 bill. Some places can't. If you're not familair with the area, you might not know that due to lots of competition, sometimes the shop owner or manager will give you a discount on clothes and other items if you ask them for one. Sometimes they are so eager to sell, they just offer you a good deal. I didn't want to appear cheap though, so I didn't bother asking. It was also nice that she didn't bug me or follow me around like a lot of the shop employees tend to do sometimes. This is a great place and I'll come back here next time I'm in LA.
