I had a very positive experience at the store when I recently went there. The sales associate who helped me was Rabiyah. She was very helpful and very attentive as well. Extremely professional. I actually thought she was the store manager. They have some interesting styles, and the clothes are good for young women who need a party dress, but don't want to spend a fortune. Terrible customer service from 2/3 of the workers here. All of the dresses are terrible quality. Very fast fashion and exactly like SHEIN. they make you wait outside for 50 minutes-the store is very small and has limited selection where they state they "have more in the back" but then are too busy to help you look at them. Then you have to wait another 30-50 minutes to actually try the clothes on. And people can add clothes to their pile while they wait so you end up standing around looking at their terrible selection. Avoid this store if you can. They just use cheap tactics to create the illusion of the store being good and busting with customers when in reality it's terrible customer service with even worse quality clothes. read more

I walked into the store around 4PM on Wednesday 5/6/26. The doors were open, the lights were on, music loud, and there was no notice online or at the entrance saying the store was closed. Instead, your employees looked me up and down, laughed, and condescendingly told me the store was closed because they were "redoing decorations" and that it supposedly "showed online." It did not. If corporate approved closing the store during prime business hours for decorations, what an odd operational decision that unnecessarily loses sales. Most retailers handle that after hours, especially if they're barely open already. Either way, keep your retail employees on a tighter leash. The closure itself is one thing, but openly laughing at customers for walking into a store with the doors open and lights on is embarrassing for the brand. Need some tighter oversight of employee conduct in-store, especially considering this is on Melrose. read more

I am so disappointed to say this because I have had great experiences ordering from Oh Polly online and really love their clothes! I just learned about their storefront in LA and was excited to check it out. When I arrived at the store today, I was not greeted but instead told in a rude way that I needed to wait outside, and shooed away by the sales associate. I waited outside for 10-15 minutes and no one came to greet us or explain why we needed to wait. All of the customers exited the store and the associates still did not let us in. Finally and new associate from the back came to greet us properly and let us know that we would be waiting for about 15 minutes longer because they were having an "altercation in the back" and needed to reset the floor. She did offer us water if we wanted to wait. I let the sales associate know that it was very rude how the previous associate dismissed us and I appreciated her finally acknowledging us and explaining what was going on. We decided to leave to walk around Melrose. We returned about 30 mins later and the doors were closed with a black rope blocking both doors. Very disappointed in their lack of the customer service and initial disrespect. Feeling hesitant to continue supporting this brand. Such a degrading experience! read more

I was super excited to see that Oh Polly, originally from the UK, finally has a physical store in the US! I love Oh Polly dresses and figured what the hay, let's go try on some dresses while in LA haha. Unfortunately the day I went, there were little to no sizes available and had a very limited selection. Only had 2-3 of each dress out on the floor and didn't seem to have any sizes available in the back. As for customer service, it didn't exist lol. Any time someone walked in, did not hear greeting & when I was trying on a dress and kindly asked if a different size was available, one of the workers was happy to help (at first) & said the size I was looking for was available and that she'd grab it from the back. 15 min later, still no dress & turns out she had forgotten , which is okay! But long story short, there was no dress in that size (likely an inventory error?) and she ended up getting mad at me lol for essentially bothering her by kindly asking if the dress was still available. I was never once mad or acted impatient for the dress, for me, I was just wondering if the dress was still coming for me to try on, as we still had a day already planned after, to run errands. Conclusion: Love the dresses, did not love the store & the vibe at all. read more

Went to their flagship Melrose today as I had been eyeing a dress online for months and happened to be driving through LA on a road trip back to Phoenix. I had called a couple days ago to see if the dress was in stock and the girl who answered was super pleasant and helpful. Before arriving, I honestly joked with my husband that I hoped their doors were open as we were arriving right around 11am and many reviews complained about their store hours not being adhered to. I walked in to a bright and lovely store, greeted right away by 2 women who immediately helped me find the right dress. They helped give advice on sizing and overall, were super sweet and professional. The dress needs to be one size smaller, so I will order online--but I was happy with the quality and customer service. After seeing some bad reviews, I felt it worth the time to give them a good one! I was literally waiting for them outside the store the entire time, and for some of us that live on a tight schedule (because of work) it is so inconsiderate they don't update their store hours. I had a few dresses that I ordered online that didn't quite fit right. I called in and asked if they had the exact dresses in 1 size up that I could try in the store before exchanging, the girl said yes they did have one of them. I went in and the same girl said they didn't have it. It was overall a waste of time. The stock seems to be limited, as I did find another dress I wanted to try but they didn't have my size. But I do think if you buy anything online it's convenient to be able to take it into the store for returns/exchanges read more
