Horribly rude woman runs this place!! dropped a brand new shirt off with tags To have the wrinkles taken out and have it pressed. Came back to us with two spots on it! The woman at the counter claimed it already had the spots and refused to make it good, She's not only rude But pushes you to only pay cash so she can avoid taxes. Just not a nice person read more

NOT SURE WHAT'S GOING ON HERE WITH SO MANY BAD REVIEWS ?!?! LOOKS LIKE A COMPETITOR TRYING TO BAD MOUTH AN GOOD COMPETITOR ?? We've gone to Celebrity Cleaners for 17 years now and NEVER had a bad experience. I traveled A LOT and always had them fold my shirts so I could easily pack for travel. Honestly, they always looked like I had just bought them when I took them out of the suit case. Also, everything we gave them came back looking fresh and clean. We would highly recommend their cleaning services !! PS- I've lived in SC for 45 years and have gone to many other cleaners....maybe some doing the bad mouthing ??? and have never found anyone to do as good a job- consistently- as Janet and her husband read more

5 stars!! I brought a pink ball gown dress in hoping they could get it finished by the time I needed it, it had some stains and over all just needed to be cleaned. They were very loyal to the time they said it would be ready and my dress looks brand new! The prices are very fair and reasonable for how great of a job they do! Love this place, would highly recommend coming here for any attire especially if they can do so well with a layered ball gown dress!! They are super sweet people and it's obvious they work very hard! 10/10 amazing service. read more

They refused to dry clean my suit that someone vomited on. Slight amount of splatter from another person. They wouldn't touch it. Went across the street to ocean cleaners and they accepted it and will do their best to clean it. read more

Rude and unprofessional. I tried going there 3 times thinking maybe they just had a busy day. NOPE .... That's just them. This last time was plain and simple, simply needed new suit jacket pressed. I came back and there was still a large fold line , I asked to have repressed , he tried to insist it was fine because will wrinkle anyway ‍. The cleaners across street said he hears that about them all the time and when I went to tailor next to them she said same thing. I guess reviews are important after all read more

The absolute worst dry-cleaner I have ever been done business with. I began to notice a few small rips in my dress shirts appearing that they had been ironed on too hot of a setting. The cleaners of course blamed it on normal wear and tear. Since I couldn't prove it I continued to bring clothes here to the tune of $50-$100 a week for a few more trips, huge mistake! Things came to a head tonight when I picked up a shirt that they ruined, repaired, and tried to pass off without me noticing! The owners explanation was that I had to have taken it somewhere else and that I was lying! It still had there tags on it! I should have listened to all of the other horror stories and taken my business else where. read more

Celebrity Cleaner - One of four ruined shirts! - Dry Cleaning Near Me - San Clemente, California

I had small holes on a couple of my favorite yet expensive sweaters and pants.. Since they were dry cleaning only clothings, I took 'em to this cleaner. The owner Janet was the nicest lady on earth! She did say that it may or may not be perfect since the clothes already have holes. A week later, I went in to pick up and they were done like brand new clothings!! I praised Janet and her crew because these were my my favorite clothings! She even managed to fix the holes and the dry cleaning was legit! I know it's a tough time with covid, but they were all wearing gloves and everything was done in a timely manner. Woohoo! I'm gonna come back next time. She just saved my clothings and $$ while other cleaners quote ridiculously over priced quotes. Highly recommend! read more

I took a shirt to be dry cleaned that I had won 3 times. After dropping it off my wife went back a few days later to pick up some other items. They returned my shirt with strange rips in each of the arms saying that we gave it to them like that. The rips were even on each arm and there were about 5 rip lines on each. It was obviously one of their machines. When confronted about it they denied any wrong doing and told me it was from sweaty armpits. Ya, they actually said that. Never mind that I only wore the shirt 3 times or that the rips were no where near the arm pits. DON'T use this cleaner. They are unethical and unprofessional. read more

I have to praise some incredibly effective irons. So effective, they were able to take the wrinkles out of a seersucker sport coat, which is hard to do. Five star effort, zero star result. Zero is all the value of my sport coat. read more

Clothes came back smelling SO musty. Almost like that smell if you leave wet clothes sitting in the dryer for 5 days before actually drying them. I've been coming here for years for my nice clothes and they did great. BUT the last 2 times all my dry cleaned items smelled so musty I couldn't wear them. I brought one of the items back to show the owner and she kept trying to say bc I tired them on that I caused them to smell that way. Completely ridiculous. Terrible customer care. I will not go back. read more

RUDE RUDE RUDE. I was waiting for someone outside this location with my engine off and one of the staff claimed that the exhaust from my vehicle was going into the shop. At the same time, there was a guy with a 2 stroke engine leaf blower, blowing leaves around. The fumes were from that. Besides dry cleaning fumes are noxious. To claim that the exhaust from my vehicle with the engine off was causing fumes to go into his shop is laughable. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. Horrible. Ruined a silk shirt and tried to tell me the massive stains were already on there. When I dropped it off there was a few tiny stains I was trying to get removed Now they are on half the shirt which is not repairable. The lady tried to make excuses saying we tried our best. read more

Janet and Crew are amazing. Our clothes are always fresh and clean. We have gone here for years and would recommend their cleaning services.

The worst and most shady cleaners I have ever been to. They ripped one of my husbands exclusive brooks brothers shirts which is over $300. They tried to patch the arm and act like nothing happened. It wasn't until he went to wear the shirt that he saw what had happened. We took the shirt back to the cleaners and the lady- who owns the business- tried to deny any wrong doing. The shirt was not dry cleaned anywhere before, the shirt was not worn and she was the only one to have the shirt in her possession. Yet she still denied any wrong doing when the shirt was clearly stitched wrong & patched. She is a horrible business owner and we will NEVER be going back. I hope everyone reads this and takes their business somewhere else!!!! read more

I've been bringing my clothes here for years. They always do a great job, are prompt and friendly. Tootsie Rolls at the counter.

So expensive for no reason. And the lady working there is so mean. They don't even accept their own coupon. What's the reason to send the coupon to us if u don't take it. Lol read more

I used this dry cleaners because it was convenient. I already anticipated that the prices would be higher than my usual dry cleaners. It was by about 25% higher. Ok, I accepted that but I was a llittle taken by surprise when the cashier freaked out because I wanted to use a credit card for less than $10 (for one blouse). I offered a debit card and that was still fairly unacceptable but she begrudging accepted it. There wasn't anything posted regarding this so I wasn't aware that would be a problem. Won't be back! read more

I was charged twice what the next door alterations place would have charged me for a simple alteration. I calmly stated that fact to the owner and he said to me, "I don't want to hear it. I don't care about anything you have to say woman." Do not support this business. read more

In all fairness I will give them 2 stars. Quality of cleaning very good. Prices..another story. $17.99 for a 2 pc. Suit...really??? Let the buyer beware. Be sure you ask their prices before you leave your clothes for cleaning. When I objected to the price they told me I could go across the street to another cleaners. read more

I really LOVE this cleaners. Everytime I go visit my brother in San Clemente I like to dress with my favorite shirts. And I always like to keep all of my clothing clean and well ironed. And I can always count on them to do an Amazing job. Keep up the good work. read more

Needed to enlarge the opening of a rug that fits around the base of a toilet. Had it pinned exactly how I wanted it cut and sewn. Explained this to both husband and wife who own shop. Yes, they can have their person who does repairs, cut and sew this, using a heavy needle, charge $10-15 depending on the labor. Came back a couple days later and their repair person had decided on her own, to GLUE the pieces together with this thick white glue - like Elmer's, instead of sewing them! I was shocked - this was not discussed and is not acceptable. I asked wife how can I wash a rug that has been glued - she said to just bring it back and they will re-glue it! Ridiculous - now I have to go buy a new rug. Never go to them - they are idiots! read more

Absolutely love this cleaners! They always remember our name. The clothes never have that chemical smell. No broken buttons and shirts always come back clean! And they are organic! Which really helps me as I am super sensitive to chemical smells. read more

If I can trust a cleaners is this one. I can always be confident of bringing my clothes here and receiving it back perfect. I have seen reviews that clothing has steins after you send them. I have never had that problem. I have taken clothing that has very bad steins and they always remove it or almost completely remove it. The owners are very professional and smiling. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!!! read more

I recently moved to the area and was anxious to find a new cleaners. I took 35 pieces to this location without trying a few pieces first...BIG mistake! I am giving them two stars only because they offered me a discount for so many pieces, the packaging of the clothes was great, and they looked perfectly pressed. The problem? THEY STINK! It was like the clothes were pressed without being cleaned at all. Any existing body odor smell was intensified by the pressing. The clothes smelled worst after the so called cleaning than before they were brought in. I'm not saying that I don't sweat, but geez, it was like I wore these clothes to run a marathon, pressed them and put them back on! We took the items back in to the cleaners to discuss the problem and Janet stated they were fine, did not smell, and there was no problem with them without even taking a sniff. She responded with "the body odor is from you, not our machines. They are fine." I'm not saying that the body odor wasn't from me. I'm saying that I paid to have that body odor removed. I have never had my dry cleaning smell like this before. I was frustrated and disappointed that this store did not stand by their quality of work and offer to clean the clothes again. I wasn't asking for my money back. I just wanted to have my clothes in a condition that people didn't move seats on the train sitting next to me! I picked up my $200 worth of worthless dry cleaning and drove to the cleaners across the street. I learned a lesson though. I only gave them six pieces as a test. read more

I used these cleaners because it was convenient even though they were pricey. I brought some clothes in for repair, picked them up, took them home when I realized the repair wasn't done. No big deal I thought I brought the clothes back and was told I was lying and that they never make mistakes. Very poor customer service. The woman working there was down right rude. read more

Good local dry cleaners. There are several options in the area but I chose this one since it has regular coupons. I've been taking my clothes here for about 6 months and they do a thorough job. Clothes are ready on time with friendly service. read more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! The woman at the front counter is "Rude and a LIAR". At drop off date she quoted me $2.75 per shirt for laundry. When I picked-up my shirts I was charged $4.25 per shirt. I've asked her why? She said "You have expensive shirts". Then she says; "if you want cheep price go somewhere else"! read more
