I want to give this place one star but the lady who ended up helping me did a great job so I guess I will be nice. I made an appointment on a Friday on my lunch break for a gel manicure. This usually is a quick procedure that takes roughly 30 minutes. By the 45 minute mark my nails were still not polished. The shape was horrible. The woman then polished my nails extremely slow and the entire polish had bubbles and lines in them. I was in a hurry to get back to work at this point (being there almost an hour) that I had them take the entire polish off and gave them my money. They told me to come back later. I almost didn't but it was my hard earned money so why not. I ended up going back and received a great gel manicure from a different tech. However my cuticles were in pain from the job earlier. I cannot totally hate on the place because they did apologize and fixed their mistake. But there was no excuse for the first tech I had to take so slow and to do such a poor job. First I wanna say that the people here were very nice and patient but the salon itself was very tight and it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. It looked very unsanitary everything that was used on me was already used and I was cut multiple times and I hope that I don't get an infection. The application of my gel was very thick and clumpy and after telling them multiple times it still looked very thick. I originally went to the other location first but was told to go to this Broadway location because I didn't have an appointment (there was one woman finishing up a manicure and 2 people working there, so not sure why I was turned away). After driving there, they were reluctant to take me there as well because I didn't have an appointment. Then I sat down and took off most of my SNS powder to change the color (note: I said most, the berry color I had before is visible on the underside of my nails). Then towards the end, I guess in a rush, she didn't wait long enough for my nails to dry. So when she put a very hot towel to wipe my hands, all the nails on my left hand were smudged. I can't recall my nail tech name but she was so gentle and went out of her way to make me feel comfortable. I recently moved to Long Island and was having a hard time finding a good salon that does SNS and I am happy to say that, this is it. The pedicure was nice too, and there prices are really amazing for the kind of service you receive. This past Sunday was the third time my mother and I have had our nails done at cee cee and we again walked out satisfied. I decided last minute that I wanted to get my nails done instead of sitting and watching my husband stress over the Giants. They were able to squeeze both of us and I even said that although we would be switching back and forth with the same girl we would be out of the salon In last then an hour and fifteen minutes. I was skeptical because I have spent over three hours in a nail salon before because my mom had very long nails and gets a gel manicure but was surprised when we were walking out the door in an hour and 15 minutes. ***While I sat to do my pedicure, I noticed a tiny ROACH!!!!! crawling around the outer tub base on the chair next to mine. Since my coat and bag were on that chair, I asked the woman to move them for me. After she moved my things, I noticed more tiny roaches INSIDE of the pedicure tub!!!! When I told the tech, she didn't even react or try to get rid of them. She just continued on my nails. Not sanitary at all to have roaches and especially inside of the tub. While they do use liners in the tubs, they're torn so still not protective. Overall, my manicurist was nice. However, the entire store just seemed like it needs to be cleaned and tidied, that includes the tables, tools and supplies. If it were based on my nails I would go back. But due to the roaches and unkept tools, I just don't feel like they are sanitary and I will not be going back. My first time there. I did a gel manicure and pedicure. If I were rating the finished product with my nails, 5 stars. However, when I sat with the nail tech, she started my nails, took of the polish, filed etc. Another woman came in and was in an apparent rush. The made me move to do my pedicure with my nails half done so the woman could be on her way. I thought that was rude and unprofessional. They never asked if it was okay. It's $20 for a spa mani/pedi, and like some salons that offer this discounted price using cheap polish, this salon pretty much only uses ESSIE and OPI! No matter what time you go in, with or without an appt, the owner (whose name escapes me) greets you with a smile and is so polite and had nice little goodies to snack on while you wait. It's a simple setting, super clean, not super fancy, but let me get to the BEST PART: the service.. Aside from the meticulous care they give to your mani/pedi, the foot massage and back massage come with the service, and its like over 5 minutes for foot alone, about the same for back. All this for $20..I haven't even tried other services yet, but when I do I will post on Yelp. She gives you a gift for your birthday, and there is a guy there that has a fab smile and an even better mani/pedi and massage. IF you try them once, I betcha you will be hooked. I decided to give this place another try and glad i did! They are super affordable with their mani pedis and there workers and management really seem to give a cr@p if your happy. I asked for another coat and the girl (who appeared to be the manager) sat on the floor to give my pedi another coat. There always nice and they try not to have you wait too long. The only cons are 1-i feel like they didnt cut my cuticles enough but somr places dont believe in that and 2- they dont have as many regular essie polish choices as i would like. My nail salon of the past 17 years shut down and I was lost. I tried several different salons and was afraid it was going to take another 17 years to build up a relationship and get the kind of treatment I was used to getting. When I read the reviews for Cee Cee Nails I decided to try it. I've had UV Gel Permanent French for over twenty years, but the new salons I tried did some very sloppy, rushed jobs; I had several salons who pressed the dremel too hard when they were filing down the tops of my nails and my fingers were still burning when I tried to sleep at night! Nicole, the owner, took her time and was so attentive to detail; most importantly, she listened to me with regard to the shape as well as my likes and dislikes. My pedicure was done by Jane who also took her time, shaped my toenails beautifully and paid particular attention to one painful ingrown toenail that had become extremely bothersome. I had a Spa Pedicure ($25) and I asked for a strong massage; poor Jane's hands must have cramped up, but I got just what I asked for! When she pumiced the bottom of my feet I wasn't jumping all over the chair (because it was ticklish), she did it gently but firmly and my feet feel great. As she was applying polish (and after she put my flip-flops on) she put a baggie with oil on each of my heels, something I NEVER got before! Will I go back? Ohhhhhh yes!!!! And I'm no longer "lost" without my previous salon! read more

My friend and I got powder nails done, and for most of the colors, the numbers did not match so we would pick out a blue color and the powder bottle would be for a pink shade. This is exactly what happened to my friend, and she had to leave this salon with nails she was VERY disappointed with. When I was getting my manicure, she was constantly hurting me. This is a really long review about their customer service but I also want to mention that they've raised their prices. They don't have any promotions right now. It's $6 manicures $12 pedicures $25 gel manicures (horrible gel product, my Nails have gone to shit) I've never been so unhappy with a manicure or service. I normally come here every other week for a gel mani. But because the gel they use is so harsh and must be filed in order to be removed, my nails have become so brittle so yesterday I went in to have the gel removed (which is $5 btw but no big deal that's standard) and have a regular mani. 1. After 20 min of waiting one lady came over and wanted me to put my nails to soak. I told her no because I know how that goes and it has to be filed off so I had to wait another 15 min for someone else to help me with that 2. After over a half hour wait (meanwhile 5 girls who walked in after me were already being helped) Michelle came over to help me remove the gel, however she left me to help another customer who was complaining (this got me really mad, you never leave your customer to help somebody else and leave them unattended, that's bad customer service in my opinion). So I had to wait for somebody else to come help finish up 3. This next girl did a HORRIBLE job. I have deep nail beds and the gel was still there after she was finished. I was able to pick it out and show it to her because she kept trying to convince me it was my nail even after she out in her reading glasses to get a better view. 4. At this point I had spent and hour in the salon and didn't want to stick around for a manicure and then wait for my nails to dry but they refused to refund me for the manicure because they had already massaged my hands and "removed my cuticles" (my nails looked horrible and STILL HAD GEL IN THE NAIL BED) 5. I had her put a nail color on my nail since I had already paid for the service. She was obviously annoyed with me at this point and rushed thru it did a half ass job and missed the edges of my nail, same spots she missed to remove the gel originally. All the while she was clearly talking about me in Chinese to her friend. I do sales, I work in retail I know what it's like to have annoying clients. people give me a hard time daily so I NEVER want to be that person so I was not rude, I pointed out her mistakes nicely I spoke to everybody there in a calm way I was probably too nice about it. Maybe if I got as rude as the lady Michelle left me for, I would've had better service. Sorry you guys just lost a very loyal customer. read more

I have always been more than satisfied and get numerous compliments asking where I get my nails done. Her hand painted artwork is meticulous and beautiful designs. I get my fill- ins, wax, and pedicure done. I also enjoy the pedicure and massage you get while your nails are drying. The salon is small, but quaint and very clean. There is a couch to sit and relax on, as well as snacks while you wait. Over the years I have never had any problems and the staff is very friendly. This is the place to go! read more

I needed an emergency appointment because my nail broke on Christmas Day. My regular nail tech was booked and saw the good reviews here so decided to try it. I saw Chen who was able to fix my nail, give me a fill in and gel color. I got perfect match in Manhattan (sorry no pictures). Overall I was happy and it looked good. I thought Chen listened to what I wanted and didn't do a rush job. One thing I noticed though was that he didn't put a base coat prior to the color coat - like my regular tech does. I didn't question this though because honestly what do I know...‍ Needless to say 9 days later I had 3 chipped nails, 1 broken nail, and 1 nail with half the polish peeled off.
