I had the best 10 massage ever at this place yesterday - so good that I'm still thinking about it and wish I lived closer to Chic Happens. Came here on a Friday night around 7 and was worried I wouldn't be able to get in. They were extremely busy but luckily one person was free to take me right away. I regret not getting her name, because service was outstanding and I can't recommend her enough. The manicure was quick and efficient, she shaped my nails exactly the way I wanted despite them being uneven from a few breaks. She checked with me to make sure I was okay with the color, then hustled me over to the dryer and proceeded to massage every knot out of my back in just 10 minutes. Prices here are affordable in my opinion, my regular manicure and 10 minute massage was just $22. The vibe here is very busy so I'd call in advance to get an appointment if you can! read more

Called for an emergency appointment, scheduled me in for 6:20 and didn't rush me at ALL, I was in there until 7:30 (they close at 7 normally). Such sweet people who work there and very very skilled. SUPER competitive pricing too...I'm used to paying more in PA. My hands are dry but the nails are fantastic!!!! read more

Unfortunately just didn't hit the mark. When I go home and take a closer look and have to "touch up" what I paid for, I'd say it wasn't great. Staff was friendly but that doesnt get the full job done. For a regular pedi, she seemed to rush and barely did a scrub of my foot - maybe 3-4 quick scrubs before having me dunk in the water, which I saw at home was still dry. That was the main reason I wanted a pedicure, so my feet would be softer. Now I have to do it on my own at home again. Oh and after air drying during my gel mani she said it my pedi was fine to not do more before leaving so i trusted that and when I got home, they indeed were slightly smudged so not smooth. I put my own top coat over it to try to "fix" it. For a gel mani, everything seemed fine but a few things .. as I was leaving, one of my cuticles started bleeding, which she dropped the solution on and took care of. When I got home, another one slightly bled. During, the cuticle cutting was a bit aggressive so I was worried about that cause I can feel the nerves. Also, at a closer look, I realized there was polish all over the back of my nail/finger... it was fine from a far but just messy up close. I had to use a cuticle cutter to clean that up myself too. Sorry, just didn't hit the mark of going for a nice mani pedi. read more

Lynn is the best, my nails came out amazing especially my feet. I'm happy I went before I left for my trip.

After years of having acrylic nails on, I decided to give my nails a break since they were extremely damaged. I came to this place based off of their reviews and I am so happy I did. I never liked SNS powder because every time I got it done it was always so thick and looked so ugly. However, at this nail salon that was not the case. I had my acrylic nails soaked off and one of the girls (I didn't get her name) filed and cleaned up my nails PERFECTLY. Jeffery did my dip (like four coats!) and I told him I did not want it thick and he shaped and drilled down the powder to look like a thin even layer of polish on my nails. I am so impressed with how my nails looked considering how thin and damaged they were (basically cracking). I was charged $38 for the SNS and was not charged for the removal of left over acrylic which was awesome. I gave both the female worker and Jeffery 50% tip because of how satisfied I was with how my nails looked and because of how much time they spent to make my nails look great. I felt like they genuinely cared. I can't wait until my nails grow out so they will begin to look like acrylics without the heartache of dealing with unhealthy nails. Will definitely be returning! **Side note- My mom loved my nails so I told her about my experience & she made an appointment for the next day! Nicole was lovely and did an okay job on my gel manicure. They were a bit busy at the time I went and they accommodated me when they were done with other customers. This time I didn't feel as rushed as my first time here but the manicure chipped in less than 24hrs which definitely shouldn't happen with gel! The purpose of this manicure was for an important event the next day, and my nails already looked unprofessional. There were already dents in my nails by the time I left the salon and sloppy polish around the edges, which was fine but not the chipping and breaking so fast. Found this place on Google maps and went because they carry SNS and for the good reviews. I was not disappointed! Super clean and everyone was so nice. Bella did my pedicure and it was the best pedicure I've had in awhile. Jessie did my nails, she was sweet and walked me though everything she was doing and asking if I liked everything. I've been going to this salon monthly for a few years now but can't ignore the red flags anymore especially after reading up about powder gel hygiene. For starters, they use the same SNS powder for every customer without separating. You're basically dipping your fingers into someone else's dirty used powder whenever you get your nails done. They don't sterilize their cuticle cutters or nailcutters. The man who did my nails took both items out of a drawer and still had nail remnants on them from the previous customer. Absolutely disgusting. Sns nails also start cracking after a week. The male who did my nails also uses a machine to remove previous powder that is super rough. You feel the burn from the friction on your nail underneath. They also don't honor appointment times. I've waited over 30 mins before being seen even with an appointment. I've gotten their pedicures a few times and switched to a different place awhile ago because their pedicures don't last more than a few days. Very poor quality. Overall, AVOIDDD if you're trying to keep your nails healthy and not have a fungal infection. read more

Always had a great experience. Just gave it 4 instead of 5 since my last sns manicure broke after 2 weeks. $38 for and manicure, more with designs. I've been to this salon twice and have been very pleased both times! I came her at the recommendation of my sister in law after I was dissatisfied with my old salon. Both times, Lynn did my powder gel manicure and it came out perfect! She's also very quick, but I didn't feel rushed. They have a really extensive selection of colors as well. The last time I went, I splurged and got a gel pedicure which is well worth the $40. The salon gets very busy so you should definitely call to make an appointment to avoid waiting. read more

My gel manicure lasted 2 days and then I noticed nails started to chip, break and my cuticles were messed up as well. Some employees are meaner than others and make the experience uncomfortable. The job is subpar, especially considering the price. Recently, when having nails done in dip powder, they break within a few days... this isn't supposed to happen, thus why you would choose dip power - to add, the job isn't consistent among the different employees - if you don't make an appointment with a specific employee, you are trying your luck to make sure you don't get someone who will mess up your nails. I like to consider myself a nail connoisseur. I'm extremely picky when it comes to getting fake nails. However, this salon did an AMAZING job on me and my friend. Both of our nail techs were extremely gentle and tedious. We loved how smooth and well shaped they came out. AND they did a great job on our designs. They also seem to be much more sanitary with their tools in comparison to other nail salons I've been to.
