I had the best 10 massage ever at this place yesterday - so good that I'm still thinking about it and wish I lived closer to Chic Happens. Came here on a Friday night around 7 and was worried I wouldn't be able to get in. They were extremely busy but luckily one person was free to take me right away. I regret not getting her name, because service was outstanding and I can't recommend her enough. The manicure was quick and efficient, she shaped my nails exactly the way I wanted despite them being uneven from a few breaks. She checked with me to make sure I was okay with the color, then hustled me over to the dryer and proceeded to massage every knot out of my back in just 10 minutes. Prices here are affordable in my opinion, my regular manicure and 10 minute massage was just $22. The vibe here is very busy so I'd call in advance to get an appointment if you can! read more

Unfortunately just didn't hit the mark. When I go home and take a closer look and have to "touch up" what I paid for, I'd say it wasn't great. Staff was friendly but that doesnt get the full job done. For a regular pedi, she seemed to rush and barely did a scrub of my foot - maybe 3-4 quick scrubs before having me dunk in the water, which I saw at home was still dry. That was the main reason I wanted a pedicure, so my feet would be softer. Now I have to do it on my own at home again. Oh and after air drying during my gel mani she said it my pedi was fine to not do more before leaving so i trusted that and when I got home, they indeed were slightly smudged so not smooth. I put my own top coat over it to try to "fix" it. For a gel mani, everything seemed fine but a few things .. as I was leaving, one of my cuticles started bleeding, which she dropped the solution on and took care of. When I got home, another one slightly bled. During, the cuticle cutting was a bit aggressive so I was worried about that cause I can feel the nerves. Also, at a closer look, I realized there was polish all over the back of my nail/finger... it was fine from a far but just messy up close. I had to use a cuticle cutter to clean that up myself too. Sorry, just didn't hit the mark of going for a nice mani pedi. read more

Called for an emergency appointment, scheduled me in for 6:20 and didn't rush me at ALL, I was in there until 7:30 (they close at 7 normally). Such sweet people who work there and very very skilled. SUPER competitive pricing too...I'm used to paying more in PA. My hands are dry but the nails are fantastic!!!! read more

After years of having acrylic nails on, I decided to give my nails a break since they were extremely damaged. I came to this place based off of their reviews and I am so happy I did. I never liked SNS powder because every time I got it done it was always so thick and looked so ugly. However, at this nail salon that was not the case. I had my acrylic nails soaked off and one of the girls (I didn't get her name) filed and cleaned up my nails PERFECTLY. Jeffery did my dip (like four coats!) and I told him I did not want it thick and he shaped and drilled down the powder to look like a thin even layer of polish on my nails. I am so impressed with how my nails looked considering how thin and damaged they were (basically cracking). I was charged $38 for the SNS and was not charged for the removal of left over acrylic which was awesome. I gave both the female worker and Jeffery 50% tip because of how satisfied I was with how my nails looked and because of how much time they spent to make my nails look great. I felt like they genuinely cared. I can't wait until my nails grow out so they will begin to look like acrylics without the heartache of dealing with unhealthy nails. Will definitely be returning! **Side note- My mom loved my nails so I told her about my experience & she made an appointment for the next day! She will also be seeing Jeffery and removing her acrylics to get powder. read more

Lynn is the best, my nails came out amazing especially my feet. I'm happy I went before I left for my trip.

Nicole was lovely and did an okay job on my gel manicure. They were a bit busy at the time I went and they accommodated me when they were done with other customers. This time I didn't feel as rushed as my first time here but the manicure chipped in less than 24hrs which definitely shouldn't happen with gel! The purpose of this manicure was for an important event the next day, and my nails already looked unprofessional. There were already dents in my nails by the time I left the salon and sloppy polish around the edges, which was fine but not the chipping and breaking so fast. I'll probably need another manicure before the end of next week. I'm so disappointed that I took another chance on this place. read more

Found this place on Google maps and went because they carry SNS and for the good reviews. I was not disappointed! Super clean and everyone was so nice. Bella did my pedicure and it was the best pedicure I've had in awhile. Jessie did my nails, she was sweet and walked me though everything she was doing and asking if I liked everything. There was no hidden costs on anything, everything I asked for she would tell me if it was an additional charge. So nice when you go to pay and it's exactly what you expect. I can't wait to go back for a fill and see what wonderful designs we can come up with next! read more

This is my second time visiting. I had a great experience during my first visit. Today I had a different manicurist who gave me the sloppiest gel manicure. She left globs on excess top coat under and off the sides of my nails. The gel polish goes all the way up to my cuticle without leaving any breathing room. The color I ended up with looks nothing like the swatch I picked. Not sure if I'll return. read more

I've been going to this salon monthly for a few years now but can't ignore the red flags anymore especially after reading up about powder gel hygiene. For starters, they use the same SNS powder for every customer without separating. You're basically dipping your fingers into someone else's dirty used powder whenever you get your nails done. They don't sterilize their cuticle cutters or nailcutters. The man who did my nails took both items out of a drawer and still had nail remnants on them from the previous customer. Absolutely disgusting. Sns nails also start cracking after a week. The male who did my nails also uses a machine to remove previous powder that is super rough. You feel the burn from the friction on your nail underneath. They also don't honor appointment times. I've waited over 30 mins before being seen even with an appointment. I've gotten their pedicures a few times and switched to a different place awhile ago because their pedicures don't last more than a few days. Very poor quality. Overall, AVOIDDD if you're trying to keep your nails healthy and not have a fungal infection. read more

Always had a great experience. Just gave it 4 instead of 5 since my last sns manicure broke after 2 weeks. $38 for and manicure, more with designs. Definitely do a great job getting the picture you want done. Anyone here is good! Also fixed my nail after one broke a week later. Absolutely loved my birthday nails, Kelly did them. read more

Best nail salon, I've been coming here for 2 years and I'm never disappointed. They have so many options for gel powder nails

I've been to this salon twice and have been very pleased both times! I came her at the recommendation of my sister in law after I was dissatisfied with my old salon. Both times, Lynn did my powder gel manicure and it came out perfect! She's also very quick, but I didn't feel rushed. They have a really extensive selection of colors as well. The last time I went, I splurged and got a gel pedicure which is well worth the $40. The salon gets very busy so you should definitely call to make an appointment to avoid waiting. read more

I tried this place two times in the last month. Horrible quality of products. The gel manicure unit is super sticky and dirty. My natural nails have been damaged. My gel manicure lasted 2 days and then I noticed nails started to chip, break and my cuticles were messed up as well. I've tried different places in the past and my gel manicures have lasted over 2 weeks and I never had damaged nails. I would not recommend this place. read more

Absolutely excellent - very accommodating, didn't have yo wait when I got there, and my nails came out perfect with the sns powder.

I like to consider myself a nail connoisseur. I'm extremely picky when it comes to getting fake nails. However, this salon did an AMAZING job on me and my friend. Both of our nail techs were extremely gentle and tedious. We loved how smooth and well shaped they came out. AND they did a great job on our designs. They also seem to be much more sanitary with their tools in comparison to other nail salons I've been to. I don't usually find a place I'm excited to return to, but I can't wait to come back for my next set. (We both got SNS nails with tips) read more

If you're looking for a cheaper place, this may seem like an option - however, I would not recommend. Prices are constantly changing depending on who you work with. Some employees are meaner than others and make the experience uncomfortable. The job is subpar, especially considering the price. Recently, when having nails done in dip powder, they break within a few days... this isn't supposed to happen, thus why you would choose dip power - to add, the job isn't consistent among the different employees - if you don't make an appointment with a specific employee, you are trying your luck to make sure you don't get someone who will mess up your nails. Looks like it's time for me to find a new place. read more

Friendly, clean, no wait! I saw Nicole- she listened to what I wanted and did a great job!

Jesse is the best! She is so sweet and very attentive to all clients! Whenever I am indecisive about what color I want, she will always be patient and help me figure it out. She's probably the best nail tech that I've had that can do powder nails. Others have left them bumpy, too thick, or have cut up my cuticles, but not Jesse! She really knows what she's doing. Plus, everything is so clean, sanitized, and new!! She is following all precautions to keep everyone safe during times of covid. Highly recommend checking this place out if you want a nice relaxing time. read more

THIS IS THE SPOT! It was my first time coming here and the service was spectacular. As soon as I came in I was shown the colors the pick from and was given water. This was my first time trying SNS and I love it! What I really enjoyed was that Jessie took the time to do my nails and to make sure they were perfect. I do not get my nails done often but, when I do I'm always rushed at other places I go to. Also, they had great safety precautions and I felt comfortable at the salon. Isabella gave a great massage while I was getting my nails done as well! If you're looking for great manicure/pedicure and customer this is the place to go too! This place is so nice and accommodating! I usually avoid nail salons bc they rush and don't give as much attention as nail techs. but now I've found the perfEct place. I'm so excited because i finally found a reliable and good nail salon in Long Island! They honor appointment times and try not to make you wait too long also while accommodating last Minute appointments. I absolutely love the staff Jesse and the male (i don't remember his name) are the sweetest! They are soo friendly and actually engage in conversations with you. I went in with an inspo pic from Pinterest and they were able to give me the exact design i wanted! Sns for tips are also faster and more efficient than acrylic. They're so respectful and never rush you even if you keep switching your mind about colors and designs. I love that about them. Loved my whole experience here! read more
