Pedicure tubs have disposable plastic and the tools come out of a sanitized packet for each use.She was so patient when I mentioned I thought the picture had a gold line and not the silver she painted on. I loved this place years ago when I tried it (and previously left a great review). I went back two weeks ago, and my experience was very different. I got a gel manicure with powder, and it lasted about a week. And my natural nails have been destroyed ever since. Color selection is more limited than it was. Prices are higher, and they really itemize stuff and don't include massages and things that are complimentary at other places. I gave them two stars instead of one since my nails did look pretty when they were first done. But sadly, I won't be returning. My nails have never been in such bad shape after a manicure, and I've never had a gel manicure only last a week. read more

This place is truly a gem! Susan, the owner, is an artist and it shows in her work. I found out about this place when I was looking for a nail salon open on Sundays. Surprisingly, out of all the nail salons in Syosset, only this place was. I have been getting UV Gel here for almost a year and it lasts me weeks (no cracks or chips). Susan is very meticulous with her work and knows exactly what I want. The place itself is clean, welcoming and organized. No tools are ever shared between customers and they also have individual covers for pedicures. This place offers several different services at very reasonable prices. Recently went back to this place in Feb 2021 and witnessed them do no type of sanitation. I watched a woman get a pedicure done and then the next customer came in and sat in the same chair... no spraying, no disinfectant... it made me super uncomfortable. Even the gel UV light that they have you put your hand in was not sanitized either... it was so gross. I also noticed they don't do the parafin or anything like they used to. Overall, I wanted to walk out mid way but decided not to because of the impending snow. I would not recommend to use this business during covid times, they do absolutely 0 disinfecting after customers. This place is not like it used to be. read more

This is now my go-to nail salon! They are so friendly and go above and beyond to make their customers happy. They give you a few minute massage when you get a manicure and I always end up opting in for a 10 minute massage after that while I get my nails done since he is so good! Only been here once and might give it another shot soon (will update accordingly). Very small place. Came in to get a gel mani/ pedi with a friend. The staff was friendly but I really felt rushed during the entire process. I wanted to be seated next to my friend of course, but was placed on opposite sides of the room (weird because there were empty seats...) I also had two nail techs doing my toes and fingers at the same time. Which wouldn't be an issue if it weren't for the fact that I had to sit on the edge of my chair and hold hands out toward her so she could do my nails. Not exactly the relaxation I was looking forward to when I went in. What was weird was that my nail tech also left a decent amount of my nail unpainted toward the base and the result was that it looked like I got them done a couple days prior. Tried asking her to fix it but she said it looked fine. My friend didn't really have an opinion of the place but we kinda wished we had went to my place and did each other's nails. My regular place was closed on Sunday, so I tried out lovely nails based on the great reviews. I'm so glad I did! I made an appointment and was taken right on time. I did the princess pedicure which included a lot of scrubs and masks as well as a 20 minute massage. The price was very reasonable. They have a very large selection of nail polish colors. The spa was extremely clean with beautiful decor. They offer a lot of additional services based on their menu- lashes, eyebrow micro blading, facials, etc. My tech was Filomena and she was great. Joy, who appears to be the owner, is amazing. She always tells you if there is a wait. She is attentive, pleasant, and can really shape nails. The first time she did my nails, I walked out and could find nothing wrong with them. NOTHING!!! She cut my cuticles without cutting me, my nails were even, and there were no bubbles or fibers visible in the polish. Plus, it took like a week for the polish to chip.
