Continue to love this salon, even though there have been some changes. There are new owners and they have redone the interior, changing the seats and pedicure bowls. I loved the hot pink colors they had but now it is tan. That said the chairs for the pedicures are now individual on one side and they have the Motorized massage feature which is nice. Another change is that there is no longer that great gel that we had soaked our feet in , in the past . They said the gel clogged the drain and that's why they got new pedicure bowls . Came in for the first time with my brother's gf and I must say, the care that was given. I took the gel off my nails, diva spa pedi which is priced at $40 and a mani and massage. $72 well worth it. Wendy was so sweet as well as zaida or sayda (sorry if I got her name wrong) they were fantastic with my kids. Hard to find sweet people in this sour world. Grateful for them today. These people are racist or don't care about their job. I'm positive they get grossed out if you are "darker skin" I got there at 11:40 for BOTH mani and Pedi .. Jenny was done by 12:30 for BOTH my Mani and Pedi. And when i called, they told me it will be an 1.5 hours for both. Felt rushed, she did a sloppy job and didn't even cut my cuticles properly. She either hates me or hates her job. She even hurt me so bad when she was cleaning under my nails and did not say sorry. My thumb is STILL IN PAIN!! You guys make people feel like crap. I'm really disappointed because everyone in this place is so nice. I really enjoyed the actual experience of getting my nails done and I'm a really impatient person. I got a gel and some of them started to chip after 1 day. So, I went back in to have them touched up and they had no problem doing it. It's a week later and my nails are destroyed. I wasn't doing any manual labor or being aggressive with my hands at all. I'm really sad because it's just a waste of money for their gel. I went for a regular mani-pedi and was really happy with the outcome. The place is spacious - I liked the pedi thrones and the jelly pedicure. Even got a tiny decoration on one of the nails. However a few red flags - the owner lady made me walk out to the car to get cash for tip before even starting to work with me! Also the moment another gel manicure customer walked in she dropped me off to whoever else was available and started servicing her ( I had an appointment and she was a walk in). Rarely write poor reviews but Diva Nails is abominable! Had my 1st very pricy powder manicure by Jen which will certainly be my last one due to my awful experience! First of all, after I inquired about removing the powder when it starts wearing off, I was told that it would cost $5 yet when I returned 2 weeks later to have powder removed, I was charged $10. I got a regular manicure since I was there with my daughter who has special needs & was getting a regular mani/pedi. Jen rushed both of us and seemed insincere. Although I noticed our nail polish was smudged while walking back to my car, I wouldn't dare return for a touch up that we deserved considering Jen's bad attitude! When I removed my nail polish a week later, I was horrified to see 3 nails on both hands were cracked down to the tip of my fingers. Wish someone gave me a warning to stay clear of Diva nails which is way overpriced, doesn't use natural nail polish & damages your nails that will take a very long time to repair! I came here after being given a gift certificate. Let me start with the good! Very clean establishment and very pretty inside. I had their regular mani/pedi combo. Joy took care of me and she was no joy! (Get it? Hehe) I didn't get to enjoy the pedicure as I was done in less than 5minutes. It was such a hurried job. It took me longer to pick a color! She barely touched my feet. As I looked around I noticed she was the only one in a rush. They did have some patrons but not completely busy. Unfortunately, Joy was also doing my mani another rushed job! Again done in less than 5mins. I think this is the first time I've had a mani/pedi done in less than 10mins. Come on for the prices here you can do better than that. I'm an amazing tipper too not sure if she thought I wouldn't! I didn't get a feet or hand massage as I'm accustomed to in nail places. The drying station was crammed and it wasn't even at its capacity. As I sat there someone came by and asked if I would like a massage I said yes. I went in to get a fill-in with gel painting and acrylic. Now At first i was happy with my nails by Joanna, but then after 1 or 2 days my nails started to turn BROWN! This has never happened to me before and i was surprised that after spending $50 on a fill-in that it would last, well i was wrong! Then when i went to another salon to get it redone almost 3 weeks later they had to take the nails off because the acrylic set from this salon was coming off. The nail lifted so bad and so high that my natural nail was actually wet when he took them off and it was so easy to remove. If i would have kept Diva's set on i would have had a fungus! read more

Came in and had someone do my pedicure and another person did my gel manicure at the same time. Super cozy seating for pedicure and so sanitary and clean. Let me start off by saying this salon is gorgeous! They have a HUGE color selection and for pedicures you sit on a couch that wraps accross the wall. It wasn't that busy when i went so i wasnt too close to my neighbor. They do have jelly pedicures which is awesome. With that being said...the quality of the services they offer were below expectation for me. My pointer finger is longer then the rest (noticed after i left but isn't it their job to check to see if their work is even?) This is a high end salon at an affordable price. The pedicure I had was exceptional. I got the basic pedicure and they used this jelly lavender substance that felt great! Then they used some hot stones on my legs, which I've never had and thoroughly enjoyed. I also loved the ambiance. Most nail salons in long island look almost identical but this one stands out. The place has a hot pink girly them which makes u feel like your in a higher end salon. It's a completely white salon with pink accents, and instead of pedicure chairs they have two large couches with pedicure sinks, and beautiful chandeliers and mirrors! When walking in you really feel like you're in a high end salon! It's completely deceiving from the outside! They have all sorts of polishes including Chanel, Deborah Lippmann, Essie, OPI, Zoya and Butter London! The pedicure is $20 or $25/$30 for a mani/pedi depending on the day of the week! They soak your feet in a scented aloe Vera gel instead of water and use completely clean and sanitary lotions and files! Also on fridays after 5pm they serve Cosmopolitans! Although the interior design is very nice, the service is not. The lady who did my nails tore my skin quite deeply on almost every single one of my fingers by filing. It was like she was filing my nails blindly. When I told her that she started to file my skin, she told me verbatim that "I complain too much" because I told her twice that she was filing my skin. I was dumbfounded that someone who I am paying money and tipping can be so rude. If I was white, she probably wouldn't have told me to stop complaining and would have actually listened to my concerns because of the explicit pain I experienced. I asked around after my disastrous experience at diva nails and most of my white friends have had generally good experiences whilst my non white friends have not. It would have been different if I was rude to her as well but, I wasn't at all. In fact, I continued to be gracious and kind because maybe I was being too sensitive. However, when I actually saw my nails, i was shocked. It was almost like she was aiming for my skin. Save yourself from pain and rudeness and just go to queen of nails next door. It's been a day since I got my nails done (so the skin is healing) but, ill still post the pictures of torn skin below. It's ridiculous how far away some of the cuts are from my cuticles so, it's not a simple mistake. My cuts are a result from carelessness, rudeness. I have no idea how the lady who did my nails has a license to do nails. Moreover, she didn't even finish my manicure and it wasn't until I got to my car that I realized she never cleaned the inside of my nails because she said she would do it in the end. Came here based on the reviews and the pictures. I am glad I came. Really nice and clean nail place. Probably one of the best ones i have been to. Prices are pretty reasonable. Love the modern decor! The service was also really good too. I had Olivia. She took her time to work on my pedicure. Was not pushy or sloppy. I did the callous removal and it was great. They also lined the basin with liner so it is more sanitary. They also offer some powder to soak your feet in. I picked the lavender flavor. Will definitely be coming back!! read more

My company recently moved and I was in dire emergency of finding a new nail salon. Found this on yelp and immediately fell in love with the decor...all pink and white, plus they use specialty polish, scented gel for the pedicure tubs (with liners). The pedicure area also has big long pink couches. They also do a happy hour thurs and Fri with cosmos. Can't say enough about how much I love this place, friendly, quick working staff (key for lunchtime appointments) clean, and they center around vegan and and more sanitary notes. She had to do my toes twice and then the third time I just asked the one girl who look like she had a clue as to what she was doing. And I continued to tell he that I would prefer her doing my nails. I came in to Diva with two of my friends and we had an appointment but it was wildly busy and still had to wait 20 min in spite of having an appointment. Fine, I'll let that go. The woman who did my gel manicure, Linda, was super cold and it was the sloppiest gel manicure I had. I get it, it was a very busy day but nothing needs to be taken out on me. After waiting for 10 min she finally sat down. She very quickly started to put on the polish before cutting my cuticles and filing my nails. I pulled away and asked her if she would do that first she said no she'll do it after she applied the polish. Never heard of that before and I've had countless of gel manicures. She puts the polish on and immediately says it's too thick I need to pick another color. weird but fine. I picked another one, I watched her walk around for a second, came back and said they don't have it. So I picked one more. She put it on and once "dried" she then filed and cut my cuticles. Paid $65.00 for uv French tips on Tuesday night for my flight Wednesday morning. Before my flight took off one of my nails had cracked, by Friday dinner the middle finger cracked in two and my pinky bent ever so softly catching on everything especially my hair. Terrible quality. Syosset is not at all short on nail salons. There are plenty, but Diva Nails certainly stands out. First - it is so amazingly CLEAN. The walls, floor and ceiling are all white - bright white. One side of the space is two tremendous PINK couch-like pedicure areas. There is room for 12 pedis, with comfy pillows and bolsters. They line the sinks with plastic, and every pedicure level starts with a gelatin soak, which is amazing. I posted the pedi menu, each service increases in what you get - I treated myself to the $55 item, and have no regrets. I've gotten a $65 pedicure locally, and didn't get HALF the satisfaction. Every step, Sam told me what he was doing and asked if it was OK or if I had any requests for making it better. I was sooo relaxed during this pedicure, I was already thinking about when I could come back. After my pedi - I was moved to the other side of the room and passed off to another manicurist - as I was a walk-in and Sam had an appointed client. I was fine with that. My manicure with Michele was just lovely, she asked each step - what shape, cut or push... it was just perfect. Then, I was moved to the drying center - and another employee asked if I wanted a massage - I said (of course) YES! and she set a timer... I wasn't sure about this so I asked exactly how much it was - she said, no, it's free... so I enjoyed a 10 minute shoulder, neck, back and arm massage for the cost of a tip - which I was happy to give. All in all, you can get a good mani/pedi at several places nearby, but to get the fabulous customer service, Diva Nails is was ahead of the crowd. They take their time and do a really great job. I also recently started getting powder gel and I'm very happy with it. It lasts me over two week without breaking. For me that's really good because I am very hard on my nails. All the technicians are very friendly. The husband and wife owners are also very nice. I arrived later than other customers but was the first to finish because the lady doing my nails rushed the job, and the same thing happened to my sister. The ladies doing our nails were very rough and it was a painful and hurried experience. This is very disappointing as we did used the organic gel colors which are more expensive than the standard mani/pedis. My person also seemed to be very inexperienced and careless as I had to ask her several times to properly paint my nails since she didn't paint it thoroughly and left some uncovered spots. This is my second time at Diva Nails and the first time I went I was also rushed. I thought it was probably because they had a tight schedule but apparently this is their standard.
