The most stunning spa. Truly once you step inside, you forget you're on a busy street in Syosset. Everything is so clean and gorgeous and so thoughtfully designed. Got my brows laminated for the first time and I asked about a thousand and two questions, and Kayla was so patient and helpful and helped me decide on exactly what to do for my first time. If you're in the area or are willing to drive, you've gotta go here. She was also telling me about the glacial facial she does which sounds heavenly. Michelle, the owner, is also such a sweetheart. You can tell she is so passionate about this business and everything she does. read more

Best place on LI for LHR, Michelle and her staff are great! They also do amazing facials

I started my laser hair removal here and let me say the best decision I ever made! I previously had laser done elsewhere and let me say it was so bad I never went back. All thanks to Mush, my experience has been a painless, effective and such a breeze. Shes amazing, such a sweetheart and very knowledgeable. I've finished 3 sessions of Brazilian and underarms with her. I will now be starting full body lasering next month! I plan on brining more family and friends here! read more

Love this place and love Michelle! I was a nervous wreck to get my laser done and she was so kind and patient with me! A few weeks before, she answered all of my questions via text and I appreciated that so much. Going there wasn't even that bad - it's not painful, it's clean and Michelle is pleasant. I highly recommend going to her - and side note: she's one of the more inexpensive options you'll find...EVER. read more

Ok all I have to say is WOW!!!! I usually wax, but I have always thought about doing laser and I am SOOOO happy I did. First of all, this place was so clean, so cute, and the service was SO painless and quick. I can't get over it. I was so nervous because i've heard so many crazy stories about how laser hurts, but not here. Kristen was amazing, so accommodating, and she knew exactly what she was doing. I cannot get over how great my experience was... I literally cannot stop talking about it. If I could give this place 500 stars I would. Cant wait to come back for my next session!!!!!!! read more

best service - very effective. so professional and clean. love coming here! Highly recommend.

Cheaper prices usually come with a downgrade in quality or service, but that is definitely not the case at SoMich Skin Spa. Michelle is an absolute pleasure to work with and makes the entire experience so much more enjoyable. I started my laser experience in small increments, taking it body part by body part, and I am now addicted to getting laser done! The results are phenomenal, make my day-to-day much more manageable, and leave my skin super smooth. Although results for me vary depending on the body part I am lasering, I have found that with consistent visits, the growth has reduced. I now go in for touch ups or to add onto my addiction with lasering yet another body part lol. I tried out a few other laser salons prior to SoMich and, let me tell you, the experience was NOT the same. Michelle is an absolute gem, welcoming, knowledgeable, and extremely accommodating when it comes to scheduling. Unbeatable prices, amazing customer service, and an extremely enjoyable experience overall! I would recommend this salon to every single person I know :) read more

After a HORRIBLE first-time laser hair removal experience at an out-of-state spa, I was extremely apprehensive to try laser hair removal at another spa. I was recommended SoMich Skin Spa by a friend, and will never go anywhere else. Michelle was so understanding of my previous experience and did everything she could to make me feel comfortable and reassured. This has continued from my first appointment to my most recent, and every other member of the staff has treated me the same way. The spa is clean and hygienic, always runs on time, and has a great, professional atmosphere. The process itself is quick and painless, and the staff does everything they can to manage discomfort and make sure you are okay during it. I couldn't be happier with the results from laser hair removal. If you are on the fence, I hope this pushes you to try it at SoMich Skin Spa! read more

I came here for laser hair removal. Making an appointment was easy and Michelle was very accommodating with my work schedule. The process was smooth and efficient. She took the time to explain what to expect and how things would proceed. From my research, I noticed that the equipment she was using is state of the art. She's very skilled at what she does and the session was as painless as possible. Michelle works quickly and was very thorough to make sure she didn't miss anything. As for the facility, the place was very clean, hygienic and appealing. Bottom line, excellent customer service, very professional, and extremely talented. I look forward to working with her in the future. read more

I absolutely LOVE Michelle. We come from the city/New Jersey to get our laser done by Michelle. For starters, Michelle has the most positive energy and super down to Earth. The decor of Michelle's spa is super chic and always on point with the different seasons/holidays. I've been coming to her spa for the past year to get my underarms, Brazilian and recently my legs lasered. I no longer have hair growth in my underarms, by Brazilian like is nearly hairless and my legs, after one session barely have hair growth! I'm currently getting touch ups for my underarms and Brazilian. Pros: 1. Michelle is very attentive, accommodating and very knowledgeable about EVERYTHING laser. She will not sugar coat the progress of your laser treatment. 2. Price point- amazing pricing for her work. 3. I said this already, Michelle is super accommodating, especially when it come to scheduling. 4. Super up to date with the latest skincare and laser technology. No cons! read more

After being referred to SoMich Skin Spa by a few of my friends, I finally took the leap into laser hair removal and these last few hair removal sessions have been nothing short of life changing. My initial fears included ineffectiveness, painful sessions, and high cost. I can gladly say that after only a couple of sessions, I barely grow any hair; the laser truly felt like soft pinches; and SoMich Skin Spa is extremely affordable. Michelle has a nice studio, and is extremely personable. The spa is located in a prime location, but there is always parking c right in front. If you're debating whether or not to start laser hair removal, I highly suggest starting it here and you will not be disappointed. read more

I have been coming to SoMich for a few months and the results speak for themselves. I highly recommend coming here for any service, especially laser hair removal. Excellent service always! read more

I have been a regular client at SoMich Skin Spa for almost a year and I'm always very pleased with the facility and the wonderful customer service. Michelle is very friendly and responsive to customer needs. Prices are reasonable and there are often promotions to take advantage of. For a sole proprietorship style business the place could not be any more professional. I have recommended this business to several of my friends. New customers should know to look for the office in a residential neighborhood as it can be confusing the first time you are looking for it. read more

Everyone is so great at SoMich. They are so careful and make sure you have a great experience

Wanted to try a local spa in the community, saw the reviews and decided to go with a facial. Worst decision that I made. 1. impossible to make an appointment. No one answers the phone or txt. Went there in person and finally got the contact info for the aesthetician. 2. After confirming the appt 30 min prior to the facial, I get a call 5 min before the start of my appointment that it has to be rescheduled since the aesthetician has an emergency. At the same time I get a text from the aesthetician saying there is no room, she is there at the spa ready to go, hence needs to be rescheduled. NO emergency!! Since she is nice enough to reschedule it , I keep the appointment. When I arrived, Kirsten at the front desk, was very unprofessional, unapologetic for lying about the emergency, instead gives me attitude. I let that go, but the place is not set up for a facial. They don't have something to change into, all the supplies are not there since the person doing the facial travels with a suitcase. For the price they are charging, it is definitely not worth going here, unprofessional, and not geared towards the customer. I would go to an established place for a better experience. In fact Kirsten actually said that it is not her business, when I said this is not how you run a business!! So they really don't care. I did give them several chances to rectify the situation but to no avail. read more

Prior to coming to SoMich Skin Spa, I've had laser hair removal completed at another salon and results were very unsatisfactory. I've gone to Michelle only once thus far and progress is already noticeable! On top of the quality service, Michelle is FANTASTIC! She will take the time to thoroughly explain every part of the process and ensure you are comfortable throughout. I've already referred her to multiple friends because I was so happy with the results. In addition to this, facility is also super clean and well-maintained. All in all - SoMich is amazing! read more

A year ago I was in a pursuit to find a good salon to get laser hair removal. It was in August 2018 when I was recommended by a friend to visit SoMich Skin Spa. Since then, it's the only place I recommend to others for countless reasons. Michelle is very welcoming and accommodating when it comes to scheduling appointments. Her price packages are reasonable and affordable. She even provides discounts for referrals. Now that I have recently moved to Long Island, her salon is conveniently accessible and close by even for maintenance visits! read more

I highly recommend this place !!! It's super clean & may I also say chic . The service is GREAT :) Price wise I would say you can't beat it . Let me tell youuuuu. Michelle is gifted!! No pain, quick and easy and hairless in as few sessions as possible. Highly recommend full body! I recently got the BBGlow Facial here and was amazed by my results. I've always disliked my dark under eyes and large pores. I wasn't sure what to expect with this facial and had only seen a few YouTube tutorials about the procedure. I was surprised to learn that the process itself was relatively quick and mostly painless. Immediately after Michelle gave me the facial, not only did my skin look bright and healthy, but my under eye circles and my pores were both so much less visible. read more

Being new to Long Island, this was my first laser experience here. Michelle was SO friendly and accommodating. She was in contact with me during the morning of my appointment as I messaged her to update her that I was running a little late. She adjusted her schedule to accommodate my appointment and was super friendly and welcoming when I arrived. Her Spa is beautiful, trendy and very clean. The machines SoMich Spa uses are state of the art and I felt very comfortable during my appointment. Michelle explained the process to me as she started the procedure and was extremely personable and warm. Laser hair removal can sometimes be a vulnerable experience but Michelle made me feel like a sister in the room! Thanks Michelle, definitely will be back for the rest of my sessions. read more

Absolutely wonderful, painless. Highly recommend! No wait time, fast and efficient, great attitude, and no complications.

Fantastic place. I've brought my girlfriend here and she never has to go waxing anymore. Thanks Michelle!

Had my first experience at SoMich the other day and it was a wonderful experience. Most Definitely ready to book my next appointment! I had gone in for teeth whitening and lip exfoliation--Both great experiences and great results! My teeth were noticeably 4-5 shades whiter and my lips felt amazing after the exfoliating and plumping. you get to even go home with a lip serum which is my favorite to use. In addition to such positive results-- Michelle is a sweetheart. She's informative, friendly, and kind. I love the real connections she builds for her customers. Looking forward to booking another appointment at SoMich! read more

I just had my first consultation/appt at SoMich and I would give this place 10 stars if I could! The office is so clean/chic and just makes u want to sit there all day. Michelle is amazing! She answered all my questions, made me feel really comfortable through the whole process, shes very professional but she jokes around and as mentioned just makes you feel comfortable and shes so pretty which is a total plus to the appointment! I was so pleased to come across her spa and I cannot wait for my next appt! This place is a must go to! read more

Honestly don't know how she is still in business. She skipped over so many places so my leg hair is patchy and it's growing in like I never even got the laser. This was such a waste of money! She convinced me to buy a few extra sessions since it wasn't working and I did the extra session and it still didn't work! On some of the last sessions she even burnt my skin! I got my entire body lasered and none of it worked. read more

SoMich Skin Spa is amazing, Michelle makes you feel extremely special, she carters to your needs. Michelle explains every step, and explains the reasoning behind everything. You will leave the place with more "Know How". I appreciate this place because its so CLEAN!!!! That will be the first thing you notice when you walk-in. I have been here 4 times already, and every time it feel amazing to know how clean it stays. The service is remarkable, and the procedures are great. I deff recommend this place to anyone that is currently looking into possibly coming here. read more

When I went here she didn't even put one of those disposable sheets on the chair--and there were dark stains on the white vinyl of the chair in the area that customer's shoes inevitably touched on. I think she wipes it down between patients but still, there is nothing like disposable sheets, as the stain on the vinyl shows. Then when she did my electrolysis she didn't brush the hairs away with a cotton ball like every other electrolysis I've ever been to-- she used her hands. Her bare hands. So I don't know how some other person said she is "clean", she was very unhygienic, likely because she is trying to save half a penny. read more

I have been coming here for years now (touch ups only recently) and I could not be happier with the results. I'm hair free!! Michelle is incredibly knowledgeable about her state of the art machines and answering any questions I have. She is so kind and personable, making the process pain free, quick and easy! The salon is so clean and nice, adding to the experience. Thanks Michelle! read more
