They have a well-stocked collection of Esse nail colors, and a clean, small salon. It's a family business, which I love. Very kind people who took their time and were very gentle. Provided a liner for the pedicure tub,and fresh wrapped utensils for my manicure. $15 French manicure (would be $10 for regular), and $25 for regular pedicure. I called and made an appointment same day last Sunday for my daughter and I for mani pedis. We arrived right on time and were greeted by the owner and picked our colors. The salon is nice and clean and the owner, her husband and the other employee were all very friendly. The husband and wife owners did our mani pedis. We started with the pedis; they use liners in their foot baths. The chairs were comfortable with your standard massage control. We got a nice scrub and massage along with our pedis and meticulous manis. Our mani pedis lasted all week without any chips at all which was amazing! $35 mani pedi; great deal for amazing service and long lasting polish! read more

I wanted to find a nail salon by work so I could relax a bit and avoid traffic. Yelp pointed me in the right direction! Aileen is fantastic. She makes you feel right at home and is very, very funny. She was in the middle of a mani but gave me a quick consult and cautioned me away from an expensive service I didn't really need. Maria did my gel mani and pedi. She was so precise!! I've never experienced such attention to detail at my old place. Even though she was super detailed and careful, she was also fairly quick. I didn't feel rushed at all, and I didn't feel like I was there all night. The salon is very clean, and all of the products are excellent. I could not recommend Blooming Nails any more, they are spectacular!!!! read more

Really nice service; came in on a Sunday afternoon where it wasn't busy at all. Got a great exfoliating pedi and mani with a shoulder massage and sitting in a massage chair. But the price is definitely a bit high even for the town it's located in. $35 for a mani pedi that's just regular paint is a bit pricey. Also the selection of the polishes seemed a bit unfair compared to other places I've been; the paint for regular selection seemed only half full and a few drying out. Even the premium selection seemed like there were bottles that were a bit too long on the shelf. I enjoyed interacting with owners kids; probably the highlight of my experience. Nails shops are like a dime a dozen here in Syosset my toes were really in the need of a good pedicure after visiting a shop in Fl and a nail place in the five towns I realized that the place I was going to was not doing a good cutting or cleaning.. here comes a brand new place in Syosset Blooming Nails, the name is very cute right? this is a little spot its all fresh clean and new inside with big comfy pedicure chairs I had a lovely pedicure done by Steve he took the time to really clip and clean and the relaxing massage of my calfs was devine the chairs are massage chairs so while I waited for my toes to dry I was able to sit and relax in the comfy pedi chair. my polish job looks fab and its almost a week later. friendly staff made me feel welcome Quick dry is not an extra at this shop its included if you want it prices are comparable not the cheapest but not crazy expensive like other local I will be back read more

I was on the hunt for a new nail salon close by me and found this because of the great reviews. The minute I walked in I didn't get a warm welcome by the owner as the other reviews said but I don't judge others by the first impression. I had gel manicure and needed soaking. Being that I am a bit germaphobe, I asked if I can wash my hands after the soaking. The owner said no because she didn't like it. I said nothing to respond but the owner allowed me to wash my hand. She said I made a face which didn't. I felt like the whole time I was trying to appease her, but I am the customer. In any case, I did like the way she did my nails and figured she probably had a long day, so I let it go. My second trip was no better than the first. Yes, I admit that I am a bit particular on how I want my nails to be shaped but I don't think that's unusual. This place charges $35 for gel manicure which is $5 more than where I go now. This time around, I still didn't get a warm feeling from the owner. Her mom and husband were nice to me. My third and final trip to the salon was done by someone else. I had a mani and pedi. The owner never took her eyes off me. I told the tech not to cut one of my toe nails because it's shorter than others. The owner was working on someone and screamed across the room said "Sammie, let her work and relax". I was getting annoyed and thought she was obnoxious. When the tech moved on to my nails, she was meticulous on getting them done right which I appreciated. Pedi and mani came up to $45. As I handed the money to the owner, she held my money in her hand, once again in front of her one and only customer, that her nail tech spent over an hour with me. Typically, she charges additional if the tech spends more than an hour with the customer, but since there was no one there, she let it go. Also, going forward I should buff my own nails at home before going to the salon. I mean, what??? The salon was NEVER busy. I was always the only customer or with another in the salon. She acts like there is line out to the door. She ridiculed me for good 10 minutes. I could walk out but I was waiting for my change. As a customer, I shouldn't have an opinion how I want my nails to look like? Why stop at buffering my own nails, how about painting my own nails and hand them the money? I guess it's because I don't drive luxury car so she feels she can talk to me anyway she wishes. Thank goodness I found a great salon. They charge cheaper and use disposal tools, unlike Blooming. Just had a manicure and pedicure at Blooming Nails, Steven and his Wife Aileen are wonderful. Took their time and did a great job. The salon is bright and CLEAN, they use plastic liners for the pedicure. Their tools are sterilize in pouches with a medical grade autoclave. Also, there's ample parking. They hit all the check marks on my list for sure. I have been looking for a local CLEAN and friendly nail salon and I'm so happy that I found Blooming Nails. 5 stars. That being said, let me say now that you will pay a bit extra. I am willing to spend those few extra dollars knowing that I will walk out of there completely happy with the service. They are friendly and take the time to hear your expectations. There are 4 mani tables and 4 pedi chairs, a nice waiting area with small sofa, a drying table with comfy chairs to attend to hands and feet. They have a waxing room in back and I have also seen a massage chair. Will comment on those services when I try! Nice relaxing shoulder rub when they set you up at drying. They use top of the line products, and pay attention to cleanliness and hygiene. My husband and I went in for spa pedis last week and enjoyed a nice relaxing time - he loves a good pedicure and got an orange flavor scrub with lotions and creams and massage and all sorts of goodies. Mine was lavender and the scent was divine. I had a french manicure (my nails are short and weak) but here we are 6 days later - not one chip ! The small shop is family run, and you soon feel like family as they are super friendly. It is located directly across Berry Hill Road from the American Legion Hall, just south of Beney Funeral Home. Incredible service. Aileen was very personable and was able to fix my disastrous nails done by another nail salon. I was a walk in and she managed to fit me in. My nails were very short and brittle under the uv gel nails I had before, yet she still made them look beautiful. Found this little gem when I won a gift certificate for a manicure from our temple. Very clean and new. Prices are comparable to the other nail salons in Syosset (plain manicure was $10). Aileen (owner) did my manicure and pedicure - she was VERY nice, took her time, explained that she tries all the products on herself prior to selling them in her store that way she can give an honest opinion when she is recommending something. If you are going to a rush, in-and-out experience this may not be for you, but I personally enjoyed relaxing in the massage chair while she took her time and made sure my feet looked perfect!
