Negative: Same price as other places, but the salon was dirtier and they did not have the proper equipment to do a simple pedicure correctly. Very very pleased with my visit! I got a manicure + pedicure this morning and it came to $22 which is very reasonable. Right when I walked inside I was greeted with smiles and kind words. As my appointment went on I saw all of the workers talking to the customers as if they were all friends. I have never been in a more happy welcoming environment at a nail salon. Stopped by here when I took my mom to the eye place across the street 2 blocks down. Sat morning they had a little wait as a wedding party was there. I got gel mani for $20, which is a great deal. The powder is $30. I would try that there, as it's much more expensive by me. A gel mani and pedi is $32 which seems like a pretty god deal as well. I will say the decor is very cluttered, and the equipment they use seems a bit old and not cleaned as often as it probably should be. That said my mani was nice. It wasn't really a relaxing atmosphere which I am used to at this point but Cindy got the job done and my nails look good. She did have to put many layers of the gel polish on, but looks good regardless. read more

They must use gel top coat on SNS powder manicure bc they had the girl next to me put her nails under the UV/LED light after dipping in SNS powder. Isn't the point of SNS powder so we don't have to use the UV/LED light? They said it helped dry quicker and stay shinier longer. What???????? Why pay more for SNS then? With acrylic nails, they fill in using nail glue and filler powder they tap onto the nails. They said using brush and acrylic powder mixed in liquid monomer produces fumes and isn't healthy. They would lose all their clients. My acrylics fell off in a week. I would question their professionalism and whether they really know nails. Looking at the pictures, doesn't look like they know how to shape nails either. Amateurs. Two stars for price of gel mani and regular pedi. But you get what you pay for. I would have given this salon 2 stars( if it wasn't for the above ) because of the decor, it was very distracting. Also the was not very clean and it was very cluttered. I will definitely come back because I really think they did a great job. The only thing that I found to be off-putting was the decor of the salon. It is very outdated and I am not a fan of gold and green which is basically the color scheme at the salon. I did like all the live plants that they had around the salon and everyone was very sweet so I felt very welcomed. I would have given 5 stars but the dacor was the only drawback. I really wanted to give this nail salon more stars, because the woman who did my pedicure was very nice at first. Upon walking in to Sonata nails I was greeted nicely. That made up for the outdated decor. I sat for my pedicure, I was asking about the spa pedicures and was sold on a $40 one. I wanted the "hydrating citrus pedicure", but was told that pedicure did NOT INCLUDE A MASSAGE, or callus remover. But the "green tea" pedicure did. So I went with that. The woman who preformed my pretty was very nice, however gave by far the worst pedicure I've ever received. The products being used were sample packets of creams you buy at the dollar store. She didn't remove all of my of polish, (dark purple) , hardly groomed my nails, and did a terrible job. The foot bath I was in kept sucking up the liner draining on its own.... she had to refill the sink numerous times. She kept getting up and walking away to talk to other employees. When it came time to the massage she set the time to 10 minuets. I said I thought it was 25? She laughed and pretended to not understand me. I asked her to please apply more pressure while massaging. She laughed and ignored me. Being she didn't have wash off what ever was floating around in the foot bath and there were pieces of skin from the horrible callus removing, stuck on my leg ( and burning) the massage was terrible. She got up numerous times during my massage that I don't even thinking it was 5 minuets. She then went to paint my nails . She didn't clean off my toes after the lotion or any of the other normal pedicure things.... she opened the nail polish that was clumpy and old and applied it to my nails..... it was done so sloppy, my 4 year old could have done a better job! Less then a week later my feet look like I ran through a forest that was covered in lava and all my polish has chipped off. Ohh and I got a light color and the dark purple she didn't remove was showing. For $40.00 plus a $5.00 tip it was such a waste of money and time. To add I decided to not get a manicure after the pedicure experience.... when I said no to my manicure, in a very nice manner she immediately turned in to a nasty ........ well I just leave it at that. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place whatsoever . I was originally told I would be receiving a 25 minuet massage. read more

When I bring my elderly mother they take such wonderful care of her. Also my 12 year old daughter is treated like a princess.
