I came here on 9/26/2020 to pick up a few items to-go. I ordered a taco trio, nachos and a Matamoros taco. Matamoros taco This taco is a staple dish in Matamoros, Mexico. This taco is made with ground beef and various spices. This is a type of taco I have had many times before. This taco unfortunately was extremely greasy and lacked the punch expected with the earthy spices from a taco like this. 2.5/5 Nachos Special with Ribeye The ribeye was tough and sparse on this dish. Otherwise, the nachos were okay. For the extra $2.00 spent on to add the ribeye, the $2.00 was not worth the additional cost. 2/5 Total Price for 3 menu items $36.55 before tip

Talk about overstuffed breakfast tacos! This place is a great find. Hubs was craving breakfast tacos so we stopped by Cedar Pork to see what they have. This place is perfect for outdoor dining during Covid. Each taco came with 2 eggs and plenty of protein of your choice. Also came with this green salsa which has a real kick to it and soooo good. Only $3 each so we certainly got enough for a few days worth. We tried different meats with eggs and I think my favorite was sausage and carnitas with eggs. Will definitely come back to try their BBQ in the weekends!

It's alright. I gotta say with all the fantastic reviews my hopes and expectations were high. We ordered quite a few items from here. My son ordered the cheese quesadilla and it was really good - basically a single flour tortilla folded in half with a ton of cheese in between. My wife and split the 2 meat plate with brisket, jalepeño sausage, green beans, Mac and cheese, and a side of beans. The beans were probably the best item of all of them. Mac and cheese was cheesey and better than average. Green beans were pretty average and clearly from a can. The jalapeño sausage didn't have much of a kick and was pretty tough. The brisket had ok flavor, was super fatty but had good texture. Normally we split a 2 meat place at most bbq places, but the quantity of food seemed small. The sausage was like a 5" piece sliced 4 ways. The brisket was like 3 or 4 thin slices. So, we decided to get signature street tacos and splurged the extra $1 on avocados and cheese - these were legit. It's worth checking out for sure. I enjoyed the outdoor setup.

The desperado taco. I swapped the chorizo out for bacon. Was supposed to have queso.

This place is super conveniently located near Brushy Creek Park so is an ideal stop for a post Saturday morning walk. I just wish it was a better experience, and for the price ($5+ a taco with their up-charges) it's not worth it. I have ordered from here twice recently, and both times they messed up my phone order, charged me extra for cheese (that was supposed to come on the taco anyway) and the pickup experience was an absolute clustered mess. I had my newborn with me in the car and they only had 2 of my 4 tacos ready, and then proceeded to take 30 minutes to make the tacos they forgot. There were several other disgruntled customers leaving without food and waiting for way too long. The tacos themselves are big and filling but are very greasy. We ordered The Pig and the pulled pork breakfast tacos, the second time I tried the desperado (was supposed to have queso, got home and it only had shredded cheese, oh and they charged me for swapping chorizo for bacon). Their green salsa was good, they apparently sometimes have red but both times I visited they were out. (Both visits were approx 11am on Saturday mornings). I think the owner should come audit the service experience on Saturday mornings because it is completely disorganized.

Cool little food truck park in Cedar Park. Dog friendly too! I ordered 3 tacos: Asada, Breakfast & Pirata. All were very tasty! However, I knocked off a star because the meat was a little oily & should have been drained better. A few napkins took care of the problem! Good value for the price, and service was fairly fast. For anyone looking for a California style Asada, this comes very close!

The remains of my Diablo burger

First let me start by saying awesome service and I mean awesome. We stopped by purely on accident it seems they have revamped and have new management we just happened to be passing by and I saw the truck and figured we'd check it out. Turns out they aren't officially open yet but they will be this Saturday. Now to get to the food it was amazing I got the Diablo burger and if you could find a juicier yet somehow crispy burger please let me know because it was amazing unfortunately I did not take any before pictures but I did get an after lol. Very calm atmosphere and very family friendly we will be back this Saturday to try out more of the menu.

It's quick, affordable, and reliably delicious. We've tried most of the menu by now, but my usual orders are the Breakfast Burrito and the Breakfast Menudo -- both always hit the spot. The kids can be hit or miss with certain dishes, so sometimes we stick to the Easy Breakfast Plate or a couple of tacos. And you absolutely can't beat their Barbacoa Taco -- it's easily one of the best in the area. They are always fast to and service is great. Simple, fast, and consistently good. El Patrón is exactly what you want for an easy, satisfying weekend breakfast.

In the mood for tacos and decided to try El Patron. I was surprised to find that it's a "sit down"…read morerestaurant and not an order-at-the-counter, even though there's a "Place Order Here" sign attached to the front counter. It was warm inside, and luckily, someone finally came out from the back and turned down the A/C. The service was adequate, and our food was tasty. I liked that the hot sauce wasn't too hot; it's smooth and pourable as opposed to chunky. Portions were nice; I took half of mine home. Soft drinks are in a can. I'm deducting two stars because while we were there, a couple came in with their dog and proceeded to order and eat, feeding the dog off of the plate as it sat in the woman's lap. If this was on an outside patio, I wouldn't have given it a second glance, other than to think that the dog was cute. But I'm sorry, gross. And none of the staff addressed it, which makes me wonder about their cleanliness standards...

The tacos are $3.50 ea. and the quesadilla was $8.75. I think the prices are definitely worth it for the quality of food you get and it was ready very quickly too. I ordered barbacoa tacos and my partner ordered bacon and egg tacos. Although I knew I'd have enough with the tacos I ordered tamales. The barbacoa was super tasty and the red salsa had just enough spice. My partner gave the bacon and egg tacos a good review as well. Unfortunately I got full and didn't get to try the tamales and gave them to a family member. (They looked good though.) I'll be honest and say that my partner had come here before and ordered a pastor taco and I took one look at it and couldn't get myself to eat it. It looked inedible. But based on this experience alone I would most definitely come back for the barbacoa alone! I'll try to get to the tamales next time. This traila is in a lot with a number of other trucks and the area is maintained VERY well. This is probably one of the best well kept food truck area I've ever been to. Over all a great experience and the barbacoa is worth a try!

Then she proceeded bro start telling employees has to fix food. I thought maybe she was off duty. This lady was so rude to the people working. She kept barking orders and telling them to hurry up - some big order. It took a long time for my friends breakfast taco & my burrito. My friend went and checked on the issue. In mean time a group of high school boys came and they had already ordered their food. Some got there food some didn't had to leave. In the mean time lady came over to our table ( one barking orders) she said she was the Carter and didn't work for Taco and wasn't affiliated with them but she knew the owners. And restaurants was short staffed. This lady was behind the counter and wasn't affiliated working the cash register and answering the phone and even went in to kitchen. She was so mean and rude to the workers they working as fad as they could. When she came to our table we had gotten our food - she offered us a refund----what the heck - she was the issue not the workers. I told her if she did that at my son's restaurant she would be Fired. I told the lady who took our order Food was so good. She was apologizing for wait time . Said generally 7 people there they only had 4. I asked the carters name - employee said she didn't know who she was or her name. To the owners - your staff was working so hard and if you know that Carter- she was so rude demanding to your employees. Why was she using the register????? I hope the register didn't come up short - wouldn't be employee fault -And was she answering phone- maybe that's why some of the boys didn't get their food. You should be proud of your employees.
