Four tacos before getting unwrapped!
Alan G.

Literally right off the freeway and the rail line, Taqueria Jaguar's provides a terrific lunch spot as a food truck with an extended covered dining area which was a nice relief from the sun. Service at the food truck was friendly and pretty efficient, and they had all of the traditional offerings for tacos and other options. We definitely enjoyed the grilled flour tacos with typical fillings including well seasoned barbacoa beef, tender chicken fajitas, shredded beef and mildly spiced al pastor along with chopped cilantro and onions. The mild salsa was also good as well as the accompanying lime wedges. The fried plantains were an interesting and delicious treat and were more of a dessert with the sweet crema complemented by queso. Overall, an excellent experience and would gladly come back to explore the rest of their menu.

The food is and always has been amazing. The customer service and the family who own this business are amazing. I love the atmosphere and ambiance of this establishment. Give it a try if you're in the Round Rock area..

Migas Taco

This Taqueria is fine for the prices but nothing special. The migas had soggy tortilla chips. The Al Pastor was dry and lacked flavor. Their verde salsa had too much lime but a nice heat. Their rojo salsa had a nice smokey punch to it. I wish I could give them a better review since their service was prompt and it seems like a nice family business. I'll give them another try one day.

Great food. Cool place to sit and enjoy. The green sauce is one of the best I've had locally. Cooked to order too. Can't really ask for more than this.

Not good breakfast tacos at all, burnt eggs. Also overpriced. $4.12 for a bacon egg and cheese that's overcooked.

Our server couldn't have been more friendly and outgoing. She was swamped (it was prom night with lots of formally clad students dining in) but never broke a sweat, never made us feel rushed or unattended and had a big smile from ear to ear throughout. I can't remember her name but I believe she is one of the owners daughters - and she's a real asset to the restaurant. My husband had a combination platter with all the favorites - enchiladas, taco, and a tamale, which he thoroughly enjoyed. I opted for something that was a little less---well, you know----but when in Rome---don't eat the spinach and mushrooms----get the tacos, savor the enchiladas. They know what they're doing and next visit I will lean into their expertise, enhanced by another Mexican martini. Buen provecho!

Not sure where it was coming from, but it was definitely there and not a pleasant way for me to start the day Friendly staff create me as soon as I entered the restaurant, and waitress greeted me as soon as I sat myself at the table. Super friendly. The coffee itself, tasted like bad industrial strength, coffee. It was not good at all. We've all had this coffee at one time in our lives... The fact that it was just a little bit after 7 AM is somewhat shocking, because the coffee tasted like it had been sitting in the pot for hours - they had only been open for minutes. Overall, it just had a vile taste to it. The breakfast tacos themselves were served hot (temperature) and tasted Overly dense. Perhaps a little heavy on the potato, and not a good ratio mixture between the other ingredients... Chorizo, egg, and cheese The red salsa was spicy hot, destroyed my tongue to really be able to taste anything until a little time had passed. Lots of friends raved about this place. So I'm calling it a one off and will come back another day and try it again

I came back and waited about a minutes before I was acknowledged, I was sat and the waitress was attentive. I wanted to try the arepita appetizer which is normally served with shredded beef/pork or chicken on the side- to get a side of plantains instead of meat, it was going to add 3$ to the 14$ appetizer so I just opted to omit the meat all together and still had to pay the $14 ...which I don't feel is appropriate- people always wanna add money to sub a veggie for meat but never reduce the price when just removing the meat all together. Anyways, Ordered my food which was out promptly, the veggie bowl was delicious as always and the arepita appetizer (no meat) was good- reminded me of a fried potatoe cake, I used the arepitas as a vessel for my veggie bowl ! I brought the remainder of my bowl home where I bit into something very hard , once pulling it out of my mouth I discovered some beef snuck it's way into my dish- disappointing forsure but it is the first time out of about 10 times this has happened here. Prices have gone up over the last few years my veggie bowl was 18$.

Short of the story EVERYONE liked it!!!! This is a mind blowing shocker coming from our family. Hubby got the combo fajitas, didn't have peppers but tons of caramelized yummy onions that we loved. Girls got the Mac n cheese which was a hit and the other got their chicken fingers. We also got the friend ice cream, which was just ice cream covered in Frosted Flakes but it was awesome, had honey, chocolate all the good stuff. It seemed like they had reopened or something, seemed like most of the attention was in the back and not out front but they our server came by and dropped of some chips and salsa. I looked at the menu and it was very Texmex, so much so that I didn't feel any guilt whatsoever in ordering hard shell tacos. Since we already got the chips we decided to get their queso as well. The food basically all arrived at the same time and the queso was served in a small soup cup-TONs of their queso and since it was family, double dipping the queso into the salsa was not judged; pretty decent. My tacos were good-the lettuce, tomatoes and cheese were just kind of tossed on top and not in but I guess that's what I get for ordering hard shell tacos. I should have gone full Taco Bell and just gotten the beef, the shredded chicken was just ok.
