Customer service really sucks here!! Front desk is great at welcoming but the team itself isn't warm and fuzzy. They act like you are just a number. Hurry up get your glasses and leave. Hours of operation also sucks they are only open Monday through Friday for limited amount of time, so if your glasses are completed Friday at 4:55 pm you won't be able to pick them up until Monday when they open read more

I wouldn't recommend them if you have a child that's a D1 athlete who lives out of town for a prescription. They will leave off important details on your prescription and then tell you months later oh your kid has to be seen here to get that info for an extra fee. I've been going here for 4-5 years now and at first it was great but every time after my doctor that I loved left I was treated worse and worse by the front desk. They're so rude. I previously had a good experience at this clinic but this time I was treated poorly, yelled at, and even insulted. After being significantly overcharged for rx sunglasses, I came to take delivery on the date I was told to over two weeks later (having been told they would be there). Receiving many mixed messages on the status of my order I politely asked for a simple refund. The office manager yelled at me and told me I was "ridiculous". The office staff looked embarrassed and all of them but the poor receptionist who couldn't really escape the situation went to hide in the back to get out of the awkward encounter that came out of nowhere. I kept my cool and left even receiving a sarcastic jab to "have a wonderful evening" as I walked out the door. The rest of the staff are really polite nice people, but it seems like the office manager (if that's her role) really needs a vacation. Perhaps a permanent one. read more

It's been many many years since I had a regular optometrist. Not that I didn't need one - my eyesight is awful - I just hadn't really established a regular doctor since moving to Cedar Park almost 20 years ago. Well today is the today that all changed. Nice big and modern facility, with a large selection of eyewear options. I was seen promptly by Dr. Trahn who took her time walking me through my options and explaining what she was doing and why. I would like to share with you the phenomenal experience I had at Cedar Park Vision. It was time for me to make a change with my glasses as previously I had gone to a discount place. My old glasses pinch my nose and routinely slide down. They were not very stylish. Time for an upgrade! Aslyne and Dr. Jeff took great care of me. My prescription didn't change, so that was good. And Aslyne was very patient with me. So many choices of colors and styles to choose from. Aslyne walked me through the options -- fit, shape of my face, options with the nose, my site lines, etc. We tried a few frames and once we zeroed in on a style, she found dozens of more with different nuances. Terrible waste of time. My family member made an appointment for a minor eye injury and sat there for 45 minutes past her appointment time before walking out. Very upset with the front office staff who set up an appointment that clearly wasn't available. I'm really tired of medical professionals triple booking patients and expecting us to sit there as if we have nothing else to do with our day. It is very disrespectful and I'm sorry but optometry doesn't get a 45+ minute grace period. Anything longer than 15-20 minutes is unacceptable. Dentists don't do it and neither should you! read more

Dr was great. I didn't buy my glasses there, just wanted a new prescription, so I can't speak to that part of their service. I was quoted a price over the phone ($90) for an exam. MAKE SURE YOU TELL THEM YOU ONLY WANT THE $90 EXAM! They wanted $212.00 from me. I finally got them down to $129-$39 more than I wanted. The staff seems clueless. read more

Their material states "Our patients are the heart of our practice and the reason we are here." But their priority appears to be the convenience and comfort of their staff. Drove to the office today to pick up my glasses after checking online for their hours, they were open 9 to 6 and I arrived at 12:35. Door was locked. Sign inside said they were closed for a staff meeting between 12:30 & 2:00. I looked inside and saw the optometrist walking around, she saw me, it was her I had come to see. She ignored me. I went to my car. While waiting I saw many cars pull up, customers got out, went to the door, walked away and drove away. I texted them and asked if they'd open the door to hand me my glasses. No response. Looked in again about 1:30, again I saw the optometrist walking around. Clearly no meeting in progress. When the door was opened at 2 pm, I was informed that that is their normal procedure when they're going to have a meeting - or - when they're short-staffed and the staff need a break. Lock the door, lock out the customers. Today was a Thanksgiving "meeting" - I was also told they can't put any notice on their voicemail because "it's computerized." So, when they're willing to meet with customers they seem to do a good job. But, customer service is far from the top of their priority list. read more

This place, at first, will impress but not in the long run. Got an exam and a new prescription. Bought two pairs of glasses. Went back to get them adjusted and their man they highly taught is worthless for this. Just wants to get you out of there. Does a quick adjustment and doesn't inspect how they fit. He just asks you. He is suppose to be the expert. If he knew or cared what he was doing he would inspect how they fit over and behind your ears. Gives you no feeling of really caring. Just wants you to be gone. Like it's an inconvenience. I am not even sure their prescription is right either. Looking for a better place. read more

Have been very satisfied with the eye exams, new glasses and the staff. Very friendly staff and attentive. I think it stinks that they charge 8 bucks to fix a single nose pad on a pair of glasses that they sold me. I have purchased 3 pair of glasses over the past several years and i feel like i was just someone who walked in. I have, in the past, actually passed up Cedar Park Vision to have a simple repair on glasses that i got from CPV. I was able to take them to a different eye care business and have them repaired for free. read more

Just to be clear, this is a review for glasses, only. We didn't get to see the doctors here. We ordered glasses for our 4 year old here after someone recommended they were great for kids. They were scratched beyond being able to wear within a week!!!!! To replace them it would be over $100. Our 2 year old wears glasses and anytime they get scratched, we typically get them fixed for free with our insurance or minimal cost (less than $25). We won't be returning. read more

I've gone to CPV for a few years now. Just visited their new location yesterday-- WOWZA! It's pretty and all state of the art equipment. Dr. Jeff is great and he always takes time to talk and communicate-- he's really great! I've read previous reviews on here on the "horrible" office staff. I've had a few run-ins w/ staff just not knowing what's going on.... but I haven't seen those team members there anymore either. Everyone is always nice and friendly.... Aslyne is the best! My son was accused of trying to steal glass frames as he tried different pairs on. The salesperson approached him asking where the designer frames he tried on were. He showed the salesperson where he placed them. The employee began looking directly at his pockets as if he had put the frames in them. It was quite disconcerting and insulting. Our family can certainly afford eyeglasses for our son and much more. It is sad how young people and particularly young minority males are treated. I recommend not patronizing this store. read more

Everything about my visit was made pleasant by the staff and the Doctor. They were able to get me into a time slot the same day! They are taking precautions to make sure that everyone involved is safe and I was never rushed or inconvenienced. This was the first time in my adult life I've gone to the eye doctor so I was pretty nervous. The nurse who helped me and Dr Wineinger walked me through the whole process (yes, I know this sounds silly to people who have gone before and know it is no big deal but I have an eye phobia so it's a big deal for me!). If you have a weird eye phobia, like me, I would highly recommend them. Let them know you are super nervous and they will walk you through it all! Piece of cake. read more

I had my first visit here yesterday and it was top notch! Everything was spotless. They sanitize all glasses you try on so you can feel comfortable shopping for glasses if you are worried about C19. They open the door for you upon arrival and dismissal. Dr Jeff is an Aggie alum and was super knowledgeable about contacts and my lasik questions. He recommended a new brand of contacts that feel better than any I have ever used before!! I did not feel rushed one bit and they were able to get me in same day (thankfully because I only had 2 days worth of contacts left at home...I thought I had an entire box left ). They have a huge selection of glasses and I found the cutest pair!! They have someone with you helping you pick out glasses after your appointment which I really appreciated because it is nice to have another set of eyes for a second opinion. The lady who was with me was so nice and helpful. She didn't make me feel bad at all for trying on so many pairs (since they have to clean every one that is touched) Lol I haven't picked them up yet otherwise I would post a pic....to be continued! I would avoid this place!! Employees are rude, unprofessional and rarely answer their phones. I tried scheduling an appointment and was told I needed insurance in order to schedule an appointment. I called back to speak with a manager and had to wait quite a while for her to take the call. She was as rude as the last receptionist!!!! AND she was the manager!! STAY AWAY from this place. They will overcharged you and only takes certain insurance!!!!! I also requested to speak with the doctor and was told that he was too busy for phone calls!!!! read more

The Great: The doctors here are kind and knowledgeable! This place has been my preferred optometrist for years because of their great selection on frames, including ray ban, coach, versace, etc.. They also offer transitions lenses, color contacts, and other nice add-ons. I've used them as my optometrist for 7 years now, and have bought 5 pairs of glasses and probably 4 years of contacts from them. The O.K.: They will always try to upsell you on protective anti-glare coating, +$120 out of pocket and other things which are nice if you have the money for it, this info is typically communicated clearly. The Bad: The problem is many other services and products are offered without communicating the financial impact it will have. I understand that in business you can't make everyone happy all the time, but you could at least hire office staff that communicate clearly with customers, and apply full insurance benefits to items purchased. My issue with them stems from two separate occasions where I was offered something and not informed that my insurance would not cover it, or the price break down changed after the transaction. If you are curious about specifics you can look at my original review. Was never able to come to a resolution with this business over insurance benefit application so I gave up and accepted a lower amount. If someone could openly explain exactly how they got to that number and show me I'd have appreciated it. read more

This is the first time I've had to see an eye Dr in my adult life. A couple weeks ago, I started having extremely watery, red, puffy eyes. I called my regular Dr to see if they could prescribe me an allergy medication stronger than what I was using over the counter. After taking it for a couple of days with no relief, my sister who works for commission for the blind advised me to call an eye Dr. I work close to Cedar Park, so I just googled for eye Dr's near me. This is the one that came up first. First of all, the receptionist was very nice, she fit me in which gave me instant relief because I was in alot of discomfort. After checking in, they got me back to a room pretty fast and told me the Dr would be in shortly. 5 minutes passed and the receptionist came in with a chart and said, I didnt realize you were a new patient, please fill this paperwork out and the Dr will be with you shortly...Well, I waited and waited, 30 minutes passed, 45 minutes past, an hour...meanwhile I hear lots of laughter and talking in the hallway, I had no clue what was going on. I didn't want to seem impatient but I was in alot of discomfort, I have been in a room waiting for a Dr that long before so I didn't think him being busy was out of the question. Finally I had enough, I walked out of the room and found someone and told them I thought I was forgotten about, she said, Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry, I'll get the Dr, go back and have a seat. The Dr came in very abruptly, didn't introduce himself, seemed nervous, but told me he was very sorry. I understand mistakes happen, however he did a very quick exam told me he "thinks" it's allergies but seemed completely unsure. I told him my concern was that it was pink eye and was contagious, he said he wasn't ruling that out either (um, kind of would be nice to know if I had pink eye) He prescribed me an eye gel, told me it was $200. He was gracious enough to give me a coupon, but told me nothing about the coupon (it was a card I had to activate) He just said good luck with the coupon..obviously people have had issues with it. He very quickly walked me out to pay and leave. I paid $60 co-pay for that??? Seriously, I was pissed. The pharmacy had issues with the coupon and the eye drops weren't available until the next day. I wish I would have got a referral from someone other than Google. The coupon and the receptionist getting me in that day was it's only saving grace read more

I have been going to Park Eye Center for the past year or so. In that time I have had 2-3 bad prescriptions. Having to redo them every 2 to 4 months. Each time the prescription was changed without apology. I tried to make another appointment and was told all the doctors will be on vacation for the next 2 weeks and they are not accepting appointments at this time. This is possibly the worst service that I have ever had for any service organization. Run while you have the chance!!! You will be let down. read more

Love Dr. Wampler; however, I am really tired of incompetent people. When you are qouted a price for glasses and exam and pay this, you trust that the people have the stuff right. I should not have to be called over a MONTH later and hear "ooops we screwed up and you owe us $65 because we don't have UNITY reflective coating." "The optrician didn't know this and should have said something." And now they want me to pay. HELL NO! I am on fixed money and had this been qouted to me upfront I would have had choices to go elsewhere. This is not good business practice to deceive your customers and not let them know you do not have this particular reflective coating. On top of it these are my first glasses EVER and I trust you to give me an accurate qoute and accurate information up front!!!!! So MORAL of this story, is don't go here unless you want to be screwed! And by the way, I don't have my glasses as they are being held for ransom!!! read more

We for sure thought we couldn't get in anywhere because it was the end of the day but when we called their office, the Optometrist waiting to treat my dad.
