I hate it because my meds are never ready when they say they are. Some of the staff are like cardboard cutouts. They don't always have a pharmacist talk to you when you get a new prescription. Some of the staff are so excruciatingly slow that you just want to put your car in park, walk into the building, into the pharmacy and take care of it yourself. Even though you would have no idea what you are doing, you are convinced that you could figure it out and still do it faster than them. I guess I should have rated them with two stars as it seems I have more hate than love.

NEVER has our prescriptions ready on time when they say they'll have them ready! The most recent…read morescrew up was on Friday 12/2. I had to go down to our incompetent healthcare clinic in person since it's impossible to get an actual human there on the phone and get them to call the pharmacy in order to have my partner's meds filled. Rite Aid claimed they had no record of my partner calling them first about it when he said he did multiple times. On my way home I stopped in at this location we go to and double checked if they were working on filling the prescriptions. I was told by the girl at the counter that all of them were except one because they didn't have a refill order for it, but the others would be ready in an hour. Even though my partner already gets notified when his prescriptions are ready, he was at work at the time. So I had her put in my phone number to be notified as well when they'd be ready. Needless to say, neither of us were notified. My partner then stopped in on his way home from work and to no surprise they STILL weren't ready! The next day on Saturday 12/3 he finally got the notification that his prescriptions were ready. When he went to pick them up, he was then told they couldn't be given to him because they didn't have the doctor's release authorization. Granted that's also the fault of True Care. However, you'd think the pharmacist would make the effort to call the clinic in order to get it. Especially before the weekend when most of the departments are closed and there'd most likely not be a doctor in the office for them to talk to and get the authorization. Now we can't get my partner's meds he needs and have to continue to wait until the next business day. Funny side note: on Sunday 12/4 I myself finally got the notification that the prescriptions were ready. Doesn't matter now since we can't get them. When the hell are these people going to realize that a person's health and livelihood doesn't run on a 9-5 Monday through Friday schedule?! Unbelievable incompetence putting people's health at risk.

****IM SORRY IN ADVANCE FOR THE LONG STORY, BUT I FEEL THIS NEEDS TO BE THOROUGH *****…read more I was having a lot of trouble with Walgreens filling my prescribed opiod pain and sleeping medication that I have been taking for 25 years or since I was working as a rescuer at FDNY inside the south wtc tower as it collapsed and caused diabolical irreversible bone and nerve damage to both sides of my hips. After multiple surgeries, and physical therapy its amazing that I can walk anymore. But the pain is so intense that even missing a single dose of my pain medicine, I cannot even stand or sit up. I know opiods are evil in the minds of a lot of people, but they were the only medication that helps my pain. And I also need the sleep medication because my brain never shuts off. Im always constantly thinking about the morning of September 11th 2001 and what we could have dont different to have helped more people. Combine this with survivors guilt , forget it im tossing and turning all night long. In the 2 years that im living here, I've never asked Walgreens to dispense my medications early or pulled any kind of deceptive crap-ola with them (that I see so many other's do just while waiting in line for mine). And in the 25 years that I've been on these medications I've never failed a single drug test or random pill count. So this tension between this one very condescending walgreens pharmacist has been building up for a while why because????? BIG SURPRISE,,,, I WANT TO PICK UP MY MEDICATION ON THE CORRECT DATE THAT MY PHYSICIAN AND I AGREED UPON. Which is usually the 29th day of the 30 day supply. Fast forward to 4 days ago. I went to pick up my lunesta at the Walgreens window and that same pharmacist told me (in the most condescending voice, she could imagine) "because you asked us to release it early every month for the past 4 months we are now holding this prescription for an additional 6 days, you should have plenty of them still in your old bottle" I was literally dumb founded. I have never asked this that walgreens to refill anything early. As a retired fdny firefighter I've seen what out of control addiction does to people. I was so insulted and humiliated. I literally felt that i lookec like a drug addict in front of my family who heard everything she said. So I got ahold of my Dr office as well as the manager of walgreens. All the manager did was side with his pharmacist. But my Dr started a big investigation with them because he knew that I was telling the truth.. so long story short, I had to go without my lunesta for sleep for 5 days until walgreens finally realized that it was infact their mistake. Now fast forward 1 week, now its time to fill my opioid pain medication. Believe it or not, same pharmacist told me "you're here wayyy too soon, you last picked it up 25 days ago. It will he ready in 4 more days". I just smiled at her and drove away. Now this was a Saturday so I was kinda screwed because my Dr office was now closed. So I went to my wife's cvs pharmacy and explained everything to them and they couldn't be nicer and non judgemental. I kid you not literally 90 minutes after leaving a message with my doctor's after hours answering service explaining what happened, the presentation for my.pain medication was removed from Walgreens, transmitted to the CVS on Melrose in vista filled and handed to me. All in 90 minutes. No hassle, no judgemental as to why im taking these medications, NOTHING BUT LOVE AND CARING FROM THIS PARTICULAR CVS PHARMACY. After this I transferred all of my other maintenance medications from that Walgreens right over to this CVS. Walgreens, you're fired!!

I wasn't sure of the procedure but I had opened my cvs app and it showed a number to tell them. I told the guy and it seemed to work. If I'm going through the drive through it's because I don't want to come in, especially not for a shot. The pharmacist came to the window to ask about the prescription, because I've had a reaction to it in a different form in the past. I very much appreciate her concern and that she took the time to make sure I could use it for this instance. I've also liked the guy who helped me in the past because he has been quick and efficient. I just wanted to get through quick yesterday. I'll continue to come to this cvs when I'm not near my home cvs.

She had it sent to this Walgreens being closer to my home. I paid for a 2' x 8' banner. When it was opened up to hang, it was not printed right. For one, it was only 2' x 6' 7 inch. And the wording was not centered. The next day I went back to Walgreens to have it corrected for next weekend's party. The lady at the counter did not know how she could help me, so she asked someone else. This person was very unkind towards me when I showed her how that it was printed wrong. I told her that this was not 8' long. She argued that it was and was very rude and condescending towards me. She did not appear happy with her job, never smiled and did not really want to help me. Very dismissive and basically said it was my fault. She finally said that we would have to resubmit online again and will not charge me, but when I come back to pick, she wanted me to bring the first back because " you can't have both for free"?!? Her name is Jayden. I wend back today to pick up the new online order and met with Staci, who was very kind and smiled the whole time. She also said she had a wonderful time printing my banner and said it looked beautiful! As my husband and I walked out of the store, Jayden was at the register, not a smile on her face, and watched us as we walked out the door with both banners. Staci said that they have no used for the incorrect banner. Because of this experience, I will never go back to this store again.
