Equip. was selected by Scripps Sleep Center (Obviously, they have not read the reviews.). where I was to get my CPAP equipment. I tried my best to switch to a different provider with no luck in doing so. Since this was my first time going to their office, I could not find it. The GPS did not get you there. I had a 1:00pm appointment at their facility: 2320 La Miranda in Vista. I called the office to get directions but the phone system said they were at lunch from 12:30 - 1:30pm and I could leave a message. What's the deal!! I had a 1pm appointment!! I tried to leave a message but the mailbox was FULL. The phone system also said I could speak to someone if I entered their 3 initials, which I did. The AI assistant said the categories were empty and hung up. Now you know this wasn't anything I didn't expect since I have dealt with Mori Med. Equip. before and had a similar experience. NOT my first rodeo with these people. They have not done anything in the past 3 yrs to improve themselves. It is only a suggestion but if you read your reviews, they will tell you step by step what you need to do to improve your company's outward facing reputation. All the ONE STAR reviews have explained their problem sufficiently and stating accurately the problems they are seeing. This information in the right hands can not only improve the morale of your employees that face the storm of insults and anger on a daily basis, but also increase your bottom line. With the reviews in the ONE STARS at the same or more than the FIVE STARS reviews, all new customers will be looking elsewhere. This can't be good. The salesman refused to troubleshoot or send replacement parts to make the cot functional. After the sale the salesman was not interested in fulfilling/honoring the contract as he states "When we spoke on the phone I was reluctant to sell you the cots and that if we did they would be as is working condition. You reassured me you were good with that and that you guys have the ability to fix issues on your end." I will get "working condition" unless they don't work then you'll have to live with non-functioning cots that can't be repaired because you agreed to that.

I arranged for delivery between 11am-1pm, the delivery driver left everything outside on the sidewalk an hour before the scheduled time when no on was available. They didn't make the delivery, but they did contract with the company and they choose to keep working with them. With the price paid for the equipment and shipping on top of that, I see no reason to purchase from them directly if they support this type of shipping.

The scooter is actually the same model I requested way back in January before Access Medical was involved. I have to commend Blaine Hunt the CEO, for finally cutting through the myriad issues in the ensuing months. We discussed the problems and he appreciated learning about them so refinements can be made. I truly believe that is was a perfect storm in my case that caused all the problems. At this point, I would definitely recommend using Access medical.

They informed me that they spoke to someone in a position of authority at Access Medical and were told that their current business is CLOSED and they are CURRENTLY RESTRUCTURING. My advice to anyone reading this is: cut your losses, try to recoup what you can, make it quick and move onto another vendor. As for me, the folks at Access Medical strung me along and lead me on and straight up lied to me for over a year - leading me to believe that they were helping me get a new power wheelchair when they were doing not much of the sort. They even went so far as to fleece me for a $4,800+ co-pay - which I'll be attempting to recoup. I do have to give them props for one thing though - I DID get properly assessed for a new power wheelchair, and I DO have the paperwork from that, which I'll hopefully be able to pass on to a new vendor such that I can finally get the power wheelchair I need. As for the restructuring - I hope God intervenes and it doesn't happen. Neither the owners or executives at Access Medical need to be working with people in vulnerable physical and life circumstances, and they certainly don't need to be in charge of anything important like large amounts of money, high dollar assets, or owning or running an actual business. Their actions and behavior throughout this restructuring process prove that they need to go back to licking boots and stay there for a very long while.

Furthermore, everyone there seems very knowledgeable about the products they sell, the business is clean an well kept, and they have a pretty good selection of wheelchairs and other medical equipment in their showroom. The only downfall about Advanced Medical Supply is that they do not accept my current insurance, so I have to go to another shop, which is not nearly as good, for service. :-(
