We stopped in here a couple of weeks ago for a steaming bowl of ramen on a cold October day. The soup was beautiful and STEAMING. It had plenty of noodles, but the star of the soup was the sliced pork... so flavorful and delicious. The broth of the soup was bland and not really spicy, otherwise this would have been one of my favorite local-ish Ramen shops. We also had the shumai-very tasty with a yummy dipping sauce. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. The staff was delightful and kind. They made sure we had what we needed to enjoy our time at CeCe's. As the evening went on, the restaurant filled up. It appears to be a popular stop for Lakeville residents. I can understand why! read more

Cece's ramen, what an elegant location. The atmosphere is very nice, offering seating for smaller and bigger parties and a couple of high chairs next to the window if that's what you prefer. My wife and I started off the course with an appetizer of the pork gyoza which had the absolute best sauce I've had, and I've had a lot of gyoza sauce, following that I had the chicken karaage rice bowl m, if you're not a fan of spice I would say don't do the spicy mayo as it does give a little kick, my wife went for a tonkotsu with chicken chashu, which had great flavoring, I would get a side of black garlic oil and add a little and taste and go until your liking, the service was great, it's a very friendly place and I will recommend this to anyone, if you're in the area and craving some ramen, or a taste of Japan Cece's is the place to go! read more

We went at 5p on right when they opened. It was quiet, but was doing a lot of take out business. Staff was super friendly and efficient. Ramen noodles and soup were very authentic, especially for Plainville, and definitely could hold their own to the noodle shops in and around Boston. Cece's Ramen has pretty tasty food for a local Ramen shop. Their ramen taste better than most of the ramen shops I have visited in Rhode Island. The service can be slow at times as I believe there is only one waitress, but that is not something I am going to take a star away for my rating. In all honesty there is no reason why I wouldn't give this restaurant 5 stars. Beside the food tasting better than most the atmosphere is very intimate. It's a very quite and relaxing place to go to when you want to get away from the loudness of other restaurants. It's nice that I can hear my dinning partner speak without having them yell. The only downside to the intimate setting is I personally dont like the close proximity of the tables. Last time I went it was on a Saturday night and I was practically having dinner with the table next to me. I could hear every word they were saying. For me that was very uncomfortable, but again I am not going to take away an stars! read more

The Takoyaki and Chicken Karaage bowl were good. However, the Chicken Ramen could be better. There were only 2-1/2 pcs of chicken in the big bowl; the soup was not hot enough and the noodles could better. Noodles are not better than the store bought nissin top ramen. The amount of food is good and the meat is decent. However the brotb was not great and the noodle was ok. However the worse of all, we came as a family of 5 and the total was 90.32. BUT they gave us the receipt without informing us that there is a pre-applied 18% tip while still having a tip line. If it wasn't for our quick eye to the $101 bill that we were given, we would've given a 20% tip that resulted in an approximately 40% tip. The lack of clarity is extremely mis-leading and I strongly disagree with this tactic. read more

I just live 1 mile away from this restaurant, I was so excited to know finally a ramen restaurant is in town. Tonight I ordered the crispy rolls and a tonkotsu ramen. My husband ordered a teriyaki chicken rice bowl. Having been to Japan numerous times, and even having tried ramen places in Boston, the ramen tonight was a meh. The soup was warm, on the watery side, chasu was burned and tasted like bacon. The noodle wasn't that egg ramen noodle. I was full of expectation looking at the online gallery pictures they were mouth watering but tonight it was a disappointment. My husband commented the rice bowl as cold and rice was chunky.
