My place was built in the early 60s and all the outlets were ungrounded. Carlos came in, grounded every outlet and added GFCI where needed. My rooms also originally did not have any overhead lighting, and Carlos installed recessed lighting in 4 rooms with dimmers, and added 3 ceiling fans on their own switches. He began work quickly, was competitively priced, and very careful to make sure everything was just right. I'll admit that selecting an electrician had me worried, and I am very glad I went with Carlos because he is honest, really cared about doing a good job and is very knowledgeable. I had a simple electrical problem that I hoped would not be anything too big, the live plug for the dishwasher was dead. I replaced the plug, but the wire for the live part was still dead. The garbage disposal was working so the switched 1/2 of the outlet still worked. The house being 50 years old and aluminum wiring, I figured new wire had to be pulled. I contacted another service, did not hear from them for 2 days. I then contacted CYDD. In 2 hours the electrician was here. He had the issue resolved in 30 minutes, a bad breaker.
