Worse wash and fold company ever. Twice my clothes came totally wrinkled and just thrown in the laundry bag. I had 1 expensive golf shirt I asked to be hung on a hanger which I provided and nope. I asked the lady to keep shirts pants shorts boxers and socks together nope they just threw it in the laundry bag. They can't even fold a tee shirt the same way? Corporate doesn't return phone calls or online concerns? I spoke to the owner and that was like talking to my dog. He said if wanted no wrinkles then he would iron my clothes for extra charges. Terrible!!!! They ruined two $400 cashmere Vince sweaters and shrunk them. If it was cleaned properly this would have never happened. I dropped all the clothes to be dry cleaned!! When he finally arrived he said the Niles store had the item. Called Niles, talked to Pedro. Pedro said they have no items there. Went back to Des Plaines store. Kissn said he just talked to Pedro and the itme was there. Called Pedro in Niles again, he said they have no items there. They are a bunch of liars and possibly thieves. Put a call in to the Manager. They Destroyed my Brand New Designer Linen Pants! My pants were White when dropped off for cleaning, asked for spot removal on one tiny spot, and they returned it back to me totally yellow, and burnt a hole through the Fabric! Linen pants are supposed to last for several years, as the material is durable and super strong! When took them out of the package, this is how they gave them to me, that is totally unacceptable, and the person cleaning these pants should be Fired! But also, 6 months ago I was in Fl, and started to see little holes on 2 pairs of my white Designer pants that turned into bigger holes, and I had to throw them out. Now I'm possible 100% that this Dry Cleaners is also responsible for destroying the fabrics, by using chemicals that made the Fabrics soft to the point of breaking! Awful! Stay away, at least you have been warned, that with repeated dry cleaning here, it will either destroy your clothes over time, or have something like the above that happened to me. read more

Good cleaning, decent prices and as Jacqueline commented, they now take credit cards. They even have an overnight drop off service which is really handy when you work late. You'll get an email when it's ready (next day) and they auto charge your CC. All considered, a pretty good deal. They've had a few staff turnovers, not sure why, but the latest team is friendly and helpful. Note that they will not clean handmade items or some items without tags. If you need those dry cleaned, let me me know and I'll point you to a cleaner who does 'em. They also have coffee and dumdums available for your caffeine and sugar needs. read more

CD One Price has good prices, but keep in mind they do not clean garments individually. They group clothes by fabric or type and clean by the pound. This means a really tough stain might be missed, and some of your garments might be ready before others. Also, they take cash or check only--no plastic! They're also closed on Sundays. They're usually really good about having things the next day by 5. I was once told they have a strict policy against cleaning items with bodily fluids when they thought it was my puke on my Christmas party dress, but when I said it was my baby's spit up, the garment was accepted. Strange. There are some situations where you should take your garments to a pricier, but better, cleaner. If you just need something pressed fast and cheap, this is a good place to have it done. read more

Really disappointed in my service. They admitted to destroying one of my ties and offered me $20 store credit, but really 2 of my ties were ruined and the third one didn't even look like it was dry cleaned. It had the exact same light stain as it do before. Suit jacket had a pretty simple food stain from mashed potatoes, and they didn't get that out either. Great service, turn around time is great as well. It literally takes 2 minutes to walk in, drop off and pay for items to be cleaned and they are ready the next business day. My one and only complaint is parking. They have 2 regular spots in front of the business in addition to 1 handicapped spot. Every single time I go there is always a red/burgundy vehicle parked in the patrons spots. I spoke to a girl at the front counter about this, considering there are tons of other open spots in the parking lot where employees can park, she said it belongs to the "manager of the Pizza Hut next door" and that they have asked them not to park there and even called their corporate office to complain and the Pizza Hut manager continues to park there. Laundry service and folding, I was very disappointed in the washing of whites and colors together. Folding was not uniformed and was wrinkled from sitting in a dryer. Both my kids were sleeping in their car seats and I didn't want to wake them to go in and pick up our dry cleaning. BEWARE!!! SNOT boy. Let's start with the manager Flora. She has no idea what the word manager means. Her response when summoned to the front, "What do you want? I was sitting on my behind doing nothing" Followed by she does not give direction to employees and she was not working yesterday. She does not care about problems. SNOT Boy. Worker at the front counter, handling clothing and money, open hand wounds pussing and dripping all over. No bandage, no tape, no gloves. In addition he has a cold, sneezing all over and snot is covering his shirt. And he is handling clothes and money. All the diseases these workers are passing onto your cloths. YUCK!!! They need to learn sanitation and practice it. They need to prove their workers are free from disease and/or bandgaged, taped, gloves, kleenex and more. Quick and cheap-- just the way I like it! My clothes are always impeccable looking when I pick them up-- hardly the way they look when I drop them off. Their prices are extremely reasonable. Regular prices are $1.29 for a laundered shirt and $2.49 for any other dry cleaning item. They are great for clothing, but I do know they will not do any type of down comforters or quilts. (I apologize for the length, but I'm a "storyteller" type, but you'll understand how thorough I was in writing this review...) My dad owned and ran one of the busiest cleaners in Schiller Park for almost 20 years. Having spent much of my childhood and early teens helping him out during my days off school, I learned a lot about the small but important details about running such a business. Before I took started going to this CD One Price location, I used to just care for my clothes at home. On the rare occasion when I need a more difficult to clean item, such as a heavy winter coat or comforter, I would take it to the local independent cleaners around the corner. As I started making more money, I bought more expensive clothes and was less willing to let my machine at home beat them up, so I began "testing" the local cleaners by sending my cheaper stuff and seeing how well they took care of it and they truly did a great job. For a few years, I was fine paying above CD One Price's prices (yes, they have actually more than one price -- one for garments that cannot be dry cleaned and one for dry cleaning), but eventually the cost caught up to me. This CD One Price location was the closest to my home, so I tried them out, again testing them with cheaper garments first. I was actually very surprised and impressed with the care they took. I originally thought they were all owned by a corporation, but later found out they were franchises (which explains the mixed reviews across the different locations). In fact, this location may even be more picky than myself -- some irremovable scuff stains at the bottom of a few khakis I dropped off were always returned with an apology tag, even though I personally knew there was no possible cleaning techniques that would've been able to take them out. Due to time constraints, I've had to rely on them even more lately, so I'm sure they've cleaned every garment in mine and my wife's wardrobe at least once by now. I've even entrusted them all of my limited edition and expensive designer clothes, some of which could cost in the hundreds just to replace one article. Having the prior industry knowledge to know what realistic expectations to have when taking any article of clothing to a cleaners, I have to say, they do a lot better job at a significantly lower price than some of the other cleaners my friends, family, and I have used in the area. As long as you have a realistic expectation of a cleaners -- meaning you understand that clothes do have a limited lifespan and that sometimes it is impossible to get a stain out -- I'm sure you'll be greatly impressed by the results and especially the savings! read more

I've been using their Wash & Fold service for about six weeks and they have been awesome. All their detergents are hypo-allergenic which I appreciate since we use dye-free & fragrance-free at home. The staff has always been friendly. They set clear expectations about when my laundry will be ready and always meet those expectations. The same day service has always been on time. First off I want to say this place now takes credit cards (previous reviews say they did not before). I have been unsatisfied with the dry cleaners I have been going to, either too expensive, I could not get my garments in time, or the pressing wasn't that great. I needed something cleaned same day before I went away on a work trip so I took it here. The staff was very courteous, the work acceptable (pressing wasn't perfect but for the price not bad), quick service (in by 10am out by 5pm standard), and very reasonable price. To dry clean and press 3 suit jackets and a dress it was only $11.16 ($2.79 per any other item than a shirt). As a new customer I got a free dry cleaning cloth bag with a strap. I also saw a sign about a new 24/7 drop off service you can sign up for. Starting maybe the end of December you can get a special bag with a bar code associated with your account that has a credit card on file. You can put your bag filled with your items into the 24/7 drop box and pick them up during normal hours. Sounds good to me. read more

Overall, this dry cleaner is pretty good for the price and the same day service is very convenient. The staff is professional and helpful and they alert you to anything that might not come out or could get worse. My main issue is the parking for this location. Being that I am disabled, I use handicap spots (legally) and I rarely, if ever get to use one at this location because lazy people who are not disabled in any way park in those spots so they are closer to the door. They all stare at me hobbling in, trying not to drop anything or fall. Speaks a lot to the type of people that this location caters to. Currently trying to find another location or another cleaner closer to my home or work that actually cares if their disabled customers can safely get into their establishment and would actually take action against customers who park in handicap spots for convenience - NOT a disability. read more

Iv been going here for about a year to get my suits dry cleaned and shirts washed or dry cleaned. I'm very lazy when it comes to ironing so Iv never ironed or washed my collared button up shirts, instead Iv brought them here to be taken care of. Iv never had an issue until today. I came back this morning because I was going to put on my favorite button up shirt but couldn't because it had been what looked like to be burned in a spot on the front of the shirt when they ironed it. I spoke to the manager and she told me that it was from "bleach getting onto the shirt" this is false because Iv never washed this shirt and Iv always brought it here to be cleaned and ironed. I don't even wash my casual clothes with bleach, only detergent and fabric softener. I told her this and she insisted it was bleach and that I "brought it here like that" when that was not the case at all. Manager was unable to provide good customer service to me, and refused to amend the situation via store credit or cash for the shirt for their negligence when cleaning my expensive shirt. Because of this, I will take my business elsewhere. I would be cautious when bringing them expensive clothes, take pictures befor you bring them so they can not deny their fault in ruining clothes read more

Been going to this location for 2 years. Never had a single problem. Everything is cleaned well. I love the email service that notifies me when it's ready for pickup. And the two times my husband accidentally left his hat and tie in his suit pocket, respectively, they were placed in a separate bag and cleaned complimentary to the order. The one time I came in here to have my shirts laundered - and they messed up - Shirts weren't properly pressed. Had to come back the following day only to find out that the shirt was put on the side and neglected. Asked for the manager, and the kid did not even know the name of the manager. Will try again later to see if my shirts are done, or had been thrown away. read more
