They helped use their card and then I just paid them in quarters. I brought my own Tide pods and dryer sheets but they had supplies available. They were selling Bounce dryer sheets 4/$1. This laundromat was in the same strip mall as a taqueria and a donut shop. I went right when the opened so the taqueria wasn't open yet - I think it was 9:00. At the donut shop I got a Diet Coke and a donut for $2. So for $10 I washed & dried 2 loads of laundry and got breakfast :)

I called Skokie valley Laundry & Cleaners (thank you, yelpers) and realized they were 1/3 of the price of the dry cleaners I was using. Gasp. And for 1/3 of the price they even pick up and deliver my dry cleaning twice a week! As a working mom with 3 little ones I've learned that outsourcing as much as possible is key so not sure how it took me so long to realize that you can get your dry cleaning delivered. We've been using Skokie Valley & Cleaners for several weeks now and IMO it's 5 years too late. Besides the savings I'm loving the delivery option. Randy, who has apparently been with the company many years, picks up and drop off twice a week...and does the same for many of my neighbors. While I"ve never met him since I'm at work when he's at our house, my nanny is a fan.
