I just calmly said I would go elsewhere but I do not recommend that place. They cash your check and then tell you to hit the road if you don't like their work. Do not use them.

Within a couple of hours, Jeff came to my house & told me to gather a couple of days worth of clothing for emergency immediate cleaning. My warmest everyday coat was buried under a pile of rubble. It looked like it had been through World War III. Jeff didn't even flinch when I handed it to him. I received our smattering of clothing from him a few days later in exemplary condition. My coat looked better than ever. You'd never have known it had been totally trashed a few days earlier. Our reconstruction company was beginning to come in & pack up our house & Jeff & his crew were there to take all (ALL- yikes) of my clothing, shoes, some of my fiance's things (his closet wasn't affected due to its location) & our stuffed animals. We then had another rush job since we had a burial to attend. Again, all our necessary items were all set & ready to go. All of our clothes, coats, shoes & hats have been cleaned to perfection!! Absolutely no trace of smoke!!! I'm so incredibly grateful. Oh - another huge plus: they recycle the hangers! You can't get any better than Gold Medal Cleaners!!!

To hem two cotton tops. I am dumbfounded by that price. I think it's important to pay people for their work, but $40.00 to hem a basic cotton top is unbelievable. It's my fault for not checking the price first, but I had no idea it would be so extremely expensive.
