Came here while in Chicago to do a load of laundry. Clean machines, workers constantly picking up trash and cleaning everywhere. You have to buy a laundry card and then load money onto it. I think a wash was like $6.00 for 2 loads, and it only took like 30 minutes to wash. Dryers were only $.50 for 30 minutes, cheap. Spent $9.00 loaded onto a card, had like $2.00 leftover and gave my card to another customer. Would definitely recommend. Was in and out in about an hour with fresh clothes! read more

Staying at a hotel in the area that no longer offers on-site machines so had to search for a laundromat. This was a lucky find as the facility is very clean, lots of machines so no wait, and an attendant on-site. Think the attendant leaves at 6 or 7 pm. read more

Awful! I've been coming here for years and everytime I come I spend around $100. Refused to refund a few measly dollars when I clearly showed the error on the machine. Called me a liar. Bad customer service! I've never had this happen in the past or at any laundromat I've been to. I would like to have a talk with the owner or someone in charge here. I believe the manager there that was transferred from your facility from golf I forgot her name and another associate. They were so hospitable, helpful and professional and they were actually cleaning the place and the it really kept. I just wanna say you have two great employees that really care about their job. This business has to be THE WORST RUN BUSINESS I've come across in a LONG, LONG, time!! It is owned by Airline pilots who are rarely, if ever, around to make sure things are running SMOOTHLY! They hire cheap labor, NO MANAGERS are employed here bc they either can't afford to, or don't want to pay for them so when problems arise in the business the hourly pay employees are left to fend for themselves! They have to leave a message for someone and HOPEp that they get a timely response! One of the owners, Bill, contacted me the other day after I had a situation at the facility over my Wash 'n Fold order. My clothes were supposed to have been hung on hangers, that I supplied, but when I arrived to pickup my completed order the clothes were only folded and bagged. I inquired of the employee as to why they weren't hung. She said I'd need to pay for hangers...50 CENTS APIECE!!!!! FOR A FLIMSY PIECE OF 2 CENT WIRE!!!! First I explained how UTTERLY RIDICULOUS 50 cents for a hangers was, but then I explained I had brought hangers. After going around and around about how there were no hangers to be found, it wasn't her business so she couldn't waive the hanger fee, there being no manager or owner available to make a decision, and I'd have to either pay for hangers, take my clothes in bags, or wait an unspecified amount of time for a call from someone of authority to get back to me with a decision, I decided to drive home, grab another stack of hangers, and return to have my clothes hung as requested. I planned on returning the following morning to retrieve my "hung" laundry. On the following morning when Bill called, he informed me that he didn't appreciate the way I was so rough on his "hourly paid employee", and he felt that bc they are so hard to come by, that he couldn't have customers like me upsetting them to the point that they might want to leave so he ASKED ME TO TAKE MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!! Now mind you, this coming from the owner of an establishment where I spend THOUSANDS of dollars a year! A business that CHOOSES TO PUT THERE "HOURLY PAID EMPLOYEES" IN THIS POSITION BY FAILING TO HAVE A RESPONSIBLE PERSON OF MANAGERIAL STATUS ON SITE AT ALL TIMES IN ORDER TO KEEP THEIR "HOURLY PAID EMPLOYEES" FROM HAVING TO ENGAGE WITH CUSTOMERS WHO HAVE PROBLEMS, OR WITH THE PROBLEMS THAT ARISE WITH EQUIPMENT AND THE LIKE!!! This is a great laundromat. The washing machines and dryers work very well. It's reliable and the machines are all done within 30-35 minutes after starting. It's $4-6 dollars per washing machine depending on load size and $1 to dry. read more

My parents washing machine went down so I tried this place out to do a quick self-wash in the morning. There were some closer places but I came here because of the reviews. And it was pretty great! Extremely clean, there was an attendant on duty the entire time, all of the machines seemed well maintained, and even the bathrooms were super-nice (for a laundromat). The only downside was that for a single load of laundry it was a little pricey (around $6 for wash and dry cycle). The Laundry card system couldn't be easier, but the prices on the machines don't come out evenly ($3.59 wash / $0.59 dry) so you'll always lose a few cents to the "house" loading your card on even dollar amounts. read more

Always clean attendants are kind and helpful, with lots of machines both washer and dryer at different prices depending on the size of your load. Washroom are opened by your laundry card and they are nice and clean. Enough dryers do you probably won't have to wait. I really like this place. read more

Super clean friendly staff. Washers and dryers all clean and only a couple not working but still tons of machines. I went pretty early on a Saturday and was only 1 of 2-3 other people!! It is not cheap, BUT...this is a great laundromat! While the cost of the washers & dryers is on the high side, the quality is high too. Abundant number of machines, all different sizes of washers, for a wide range of needs. Abundant parking in front and in back. Everything VERY clean!, I credit that to the 2 attendants who were on site. Well-stocked vending machines for drinks & snacks AND for laundry supplies there is the attendant in the back. Best perk: at least one of the doors to enter is like a supermarket door, it opens automatically! When your arms are loaded with giant bed linens & bottles, this alone is such a plus! I do miss All Washed Up in Wilmette (R.I.P.) which was much closer, but I'll deal & do the drive to Smart Wash. read more

I only come here for drop-off, as I have my own washer/drier at home. However, sometimes I have more than I can handle or items that are too large for my home machines. Everyone I have met here has been incredibly helpful, my laundry comes back to me quickly, and is always clean, fresh, and folded far better than I can do! The facilities are very clean and seem to be operating well. Again, I've not used the facility to do my own cleaning, so I'm not going to review the quality... but it looks new, clean, and in good order. read more

I will reluctantly use this laundromat again. There's only two problems with it. But it is a big one. Almost any time Friday, Saturday except for probably early in the morning I can't find parking. There will be an accident here sooner or later. I plan to use this laundromat after they close at 11 p.m. then I am sure to get parking. The other problem? U can't get a $3 front load washer alot of the time. They are usually busy. But if I go after they close that problem will be solved for me. read more

I've reviewed this business before but so impressed by a recent incident that I had to write an additional review. Last week, I received an e-mail from Bill at Smart Wash. At first I thought it was a spam and almost didn't open it since I didn't expect a laundry facility to e-mail there customers. So glad I opened the e-mail which said "Keisha, We found items you may have left behind @ Smart Wash Laundry. Please stop by at your earliest convenience to claim them.Thank You, Bill". I couldn't figure out which items I possibly left behind. I decided to stop in and see. I informed the attendant Bill sent me an e-mail. She asked me my name, grabbed a big bag, and handed it to me. I opened it up, looked inside, and couldn't believe it was my towels and few pieces of my son's items that I must have been rushing and accidentally forgot in the dryer. I then learned that they know which washer and dryer every customer used by there registered card. It allows them to resolve any problems. I never knew having this card would offer this many benefits. Thank you Bill and Smart Wash attendants for taking such great care of your customers and facility. read more

Kid moves out,says hey Mom will you take me to do some laundry? Sure kiddo, no worries... 8 bags, 2 baskets = 2 super duper machines,4 xtra large, half of a large container of detergent, hanging and folding til the cows come home. Up side? Time with the Kid! Found 20.45 in machines , he didn't do his wash nor cleaned out his pockets apparently 55.75 bucks to wash and dry. Yeah it's been a good night and morning! BTW, folding tables med to small. No large ones. And something very very strange took place while we were folding clothes, a woman asked is if *those,were ours in the dryer* we looked over and the dryer had a FULL BASKET WITH CLOTHES AND A CONTAINER OF L SOAP IN IT GOIN ROUND AND ROUND! She said that just a few mins ago they had JUST been sitting on tge floor in the basket all folded!! Hopefully the video posts... 24 hours, plenty of room. Prices range from 3 bucks to 15.99. Depends on size of machine you use. Dryers are .35 cents for 15 mins. The only complant I have are screaming children at 11:45 at night. Whats up with that? Nice place tho, plenty of parking. This place is a life saver! I was about halfway through my laundry when I realized my dryer was broken and I had a crap ton of wet clothes + blankets to still wash, so I decided to come to this place. It is huge and there were quite a lot of people there on a Saturday afternoon, but I was still able to find plenty of machines available. It was hard to figure out at first, but you need to get a new laundry card to fill it up with additional money. These machines are located in the back. (I was trying to insert my credit card into the laundry card slot at the machines....). For a new card, you have to fill a minimum of $10, but you can pay with credit, debit, or cash. Dryers are HUGE and it is 49cents for every 15 minutes. Not too bad. There are a large variety of washers from the small ones to the extremely big ones. I think the cheapest one I found was about $2.59 per wash. While you wait, there are some tables to sit at, snack and drink machines to purchase items, and even a smaller store section where you can purchase laundry materials, etc. I think there is always an employee on-site and I think they have a service where you can pay extra to have the laundry DONE FOR YOU. I really LOVED the fact that I finished all my laundry (which usually takes all day since I have only 1 washer and 1 dryer) in 1 HOUR. I was in and out of the place in 1 HOUR time. I wish I had this facility attached to my apartment complex. read more

Not a fan of laundry facilities but due to a broken washer dryer in the building, this is my go to. Machines, carts, and good service so far has been my experience in the last several months. Hello everyone. I was washing one day, I come here every day. I gave my daughter $3.75 to buy her beverage and mine. She called the lady and told her what happened, she then got her drink and told her "you didn't put no money, so know you have to pay me the amount it's being told". She was being really rude about it and also told her "I don't understand what you're saying, you can tell me in , 3 languages and I won't understand you". My daughter is 12 years old she can't defend herself with our telling me. Y'all need to watch out with that lady with the blue hair. I find it really disrespectful. Fantastic place to do laundry. The store is clean, there's ac, you can buy detergent here, and the washers/dryers can handle bulk laundry. Thank God they have a clean public restroom. In order to use the machines, you need get their laundry card and put money in it like a debit card. This card also serves as your "key" to get in if you're doing laundry in the dead of night & for going to the restroom. Plenty of seats to chill on and wait while your clothes are being washed/dried. Love this place! First time i walk in, i noticed how pristine the place is. Lots of washer (located in the center) and dryers (located on the opposite sides of the place. Washer, depends on your load amount, varies from $1.99 to $7.79! I used the Mega Loader ($5.79) and was able to fit 2 queen size comforter and 10 sweaters - still there is plenty of room. Dryer costs 39 cents per 15 minutes. With my 2 comforter inside one dryer, just took 30 minutes (78 cents!) to dry them both! Now, can't beat that! In our apartment complex, they were charging us $1.50 and I can BARELY fit one comforter. Ick!!! They also have those good ole top loaders for $1.99 per wash. Two water fountains just outside the clean washroom. They have their own debit card where you can load it by paying cash or credit card. No more carrying those quarters in your pocket! They also have ample selections of detergents, bleaches and other laundry essentials. Vending machine is quiet a delight as well. Lots of plasma TV so you won't get bored. Open from 6:00AM to 11:00PM Clean, friendly attendant, affordable prices. From now on, i will be coming here for my laundry! Highly Recommended for your laundry needs. read more

This place is very clean and brightly lit. It has top load machines for $2.29, front load for $2.59, triple load for $3.69 and super loader for $4.79. They use a card system so you can load cash or a credit card onto their card. They also have many carts for getting to and from your vehicle and a full line up of laundry supplies. A 25 oz of tide will cost you $6.99, and 20 sheets of bounce will run you $3.49. They have Gain and other items as well, such as Clorox and Downey. The machines are fast too. I had flooded the floors with my damp comforter due to trying to wash at home with no avail and they happily helped me out. DO NOT GO HERE ON THE WEEKEND. Ok, now that that's clear... this is an amazing laundromat! Very helpful staff, very clean, and tons of parking. I had a few large duvets and blankets that needed a seasonal wash and i came here. The laundomat doesn't use coins but rather they have Smart cards... load money on and use away. The staff greeted me immediately and dircted me to an open machine to use for larger loads. The weekend i went in they were having a problem with a few of their machines... it was flooding everywhere. Despite that... everything went smoothly. They've got a small shop for buying laundry detergent etc, a vending machine with snacks, coffee and a couple of TVs. My only mistake was coming here on the weekend. Holy guacomole. It was RIDICULOUSLY busy. There were people streaming in and out constantly. The dryers were occupied so people were milling about. There was no parking. Despite all of that - the whole place was running smoothly aside from the one glitch with the machines in the front. Still, i won't be making a stop here on the weekend. It was too busy for me. I'll second a lot of what folks say about the size and number of machines. I even agree with the prices being reasonable (it's been about 12 years since I hit a laundromat). What got me... the odd nature of the pricing. 2.69, 3.69... everything ending with a "9". Using this business as my three-year old whirlpool crapped out on me, and needing to do a few loads while waiting for a part to be installed. I'm now stuck with a card with $2.22 left on it. So there goes the great pricing. I did enjoy the people watching though, the couple who was using the facility as a gym was a nice touch, doing laps around the outside perimeter of the machines... wouldn't have thought of that! My hints. Adjust your pricing to reflect your card system and not coins, or have an attendant on duty that can cash out your card if needed. Some more seating options would be nice. The one elementary school style lunch table wasn't enough as more clients walked in. Lastly, clean the hair out from around the wheels of the carts. read more

This laundry facility is very clean and quite large. It's got an expansive set of machines from small, household-load size to one enormous machine that I'm sure the wife and I could wash our entire combined collection of clothes and still have room to personally get inside. Seriously, it's massive. It's got a variety of TVs positioned for easy washing, the bathrooms are fairly well maintained and the clientel is very friendly. I've enjoyed the few experiences I've had here and it's my wife's favorite place to do our laundry. My only complaint is that it utilizes a card system to pay for the machines. It means I have to remember my card or get issued another one when I inevitably figure out I've left my card at home yet again. But it's only a tiny complaint. This place is nice and there's some food options nearby as well as a little supermarket and Golf Mill Mall is right across the way. read more
