A now brainer when you wanna have a chance to do all your laundry in one shot. You can put the laundry in a very secure front loading washing machine or a regular old style drop in machine. It's a safe space and clean. Just know how much you wanna spend before you start your laundry. The front loading machine machines charge more for anything besides cold water.. so the price you see on the machine is just for cold water just beware. I like that you can get a card with an exact amount of money you want on it too. There are laundry bags to buy, detergent as well. One thing this laundromat is missing is a drop off service. But I'm sure if you can find someone on your own to do your laundry for you, this is a great place. read more

This Laundry World was large and had a great number of machines to choose from. The machines looked like they were typically good. The laundromat had a clean, sleek, modern look. There were lots of TVs. There was a lot of space for folding clothes. Most machines appeared card-operated. read more

The lady who works in the morning discriminates against biracial couples and their children when people are just coming to do laundry and leave. This place is not welcoming environment. Place is always dirty and the lady acts like she be cleaning when she gossips with certain ethnicities. Everything besides the lady works could be improved. From the fluorescent bug attracting lights, the fake cameras every 3.5 inches, the machines that squeak upon closing, the machines taking your money only for the "manager" to accuse you of stealing a whole $5 spitting on you saying, and I quote, call the number on the wall and complain then do me the favor. End quote.oh I'm not done. The main machines you put your money on.... MAJOR LOL..... Let's see, today we have a sign that says they won't be giving receipts. #convenient Anyways, that's not even the best part, the best part is that everyone that comes here complains about why they never take the damn laundry card in the laundry card money machine. Yes the actual machine you put money on your laundry card must be attempted at least two tree times. Oh Chicago. This is the place to be if you want a good chuckle. You have friends who will chuckle with you at least and it's the workers. The sweet lovely ladies who live there and clean away all for the wannabe gangster with an atrocious haircut. Solid laundromat that's open 24 hrs pricing is okay for washes and drying, but I do suggest bring your own soap and other such things because what they charge for those things aren't worth the price for the amount. As of right now, I would go back. read more

According to their website and signage, this Laundry World location is open 24/7. Tonight was my first time in the facility. Came in on a Monday evening around 7 pm. Easy parking and large automatic doors. Upon entering I noticed how bright, clean and new everything looked. Counters and floors were spotless, didn't see any machines out of order. Found a nice section near the back that I had to myself. You have to purchase one of their store cards to use the machines. You can't direct pay using credit cards. I found the prices reasonable and competitive with other laundromats in the area. There are carts available that are large, newish, clean and durable. There are washrooms located in this facility. You need a laundry card to gain admittance. Good thinking on managements part, curtails the street people coming in. It was very clean and bright. There are cameras for security throughout the laundry area. There was also a gentleman working on premises who was keeping an eye on things. Think I've found my new laundry spot. It's new and nice. You're gonna spend a minimum of 3.20 for a machine that can handle a decent sized load and .55 for 15 minutes of drying time. They of course have bigger sizes and I'm unsure of those prices. They're open 24/7 and you deposit money to a card to use. Nothing like a new and nice laundry world. read more

Bright, clean, and fast. I felt safe and secure going in there alone to launder some things, and I felt like I would also be able to leave my items and walk down the block to the store and come back and my things would be fine and left alone. There is something fishy about Mary and Lauren's reviews. Both very similar and around the same time with the same problems. Almost like they both know each other and has maybe personal issues with maybe the owner. I've gone here two times. Bout to make it the third. Nothing but good things about this place. It's open 24/7. Abundance of machines so you don't have to wait for one. Very clean. Card based so you don't have to haul quarters with you. Now talking about a place where you have to wait for a machine would be just down the street at Family Pride. Haven't been there for a minute but the last time I was there half the machines were broke. No owner on site. That's very typical of that place. Maybe these ladies are friends with the family Pride owner lol. read more

Terrible. The whole facility was blocked off with laundry carts except for one row of washers and dryers. Customers were forced to use one row of washers and dryers. We were all shoved together waiting for a washer. If you tried to go to another section you were reprimanded. The worker was standing in the back on her phone. She was on her phone for hours. In the small part where I was "allowed" to wash my clothes there was a dirty glove and garbage on the floor. I would not come back here again. Me and my wife went to laundry world on Northwest highway will never ever go there again for one they have a price on the machine if you use warm water or hot water they charge you extra they are so fake and the water isn't even hot when you're paying for hot water you want to get a Gatorade a small 8 oz bottle cost you 250 and you got to pay to go use the restroom how ridiculous is that I will never use this place again in my entire life I'll wash my clothes at lake Michigan or the Chicago River before I go back to this place such a horrible experience read more
