Wouldn't come here, bad experience and way overpriced super sports cards right down the road and way better atmosphere.

Let me start by saying all the staff here and some of the most friendly, patient and knowledgeable of any gaming store I've ever been to. The selection they offer is HUGE. From RPG's to card games and an seeming infinite array of other table top games ranging from silly to serious. Personally, I go here to join a group of DnD players in the gaming table section and can confirm the space is accommodating and free of charge so get here early if you want a good spot. They have drop in style games going on also if you're flying solo. Drink choices are mostly soda, water, CBD drinks, energy drinks and once the bar is open really good draft beer choices. Whoever is responsible for the beer selection is certainly a bonafide beer nerd. The food is all snack-y (chips, beef jerky, sweets, etc.).

An absolute must-visit if you like board games, card games, or tabletop gaming in any form…read more My friend and I have a tradition that anytime we travel, we hit up a good board game store and grab a small portable game for road trips. The selection here is massive and incredibly well organized, with something for everyone from casual players to serious hobbyists. There's also a big game room and playroom in the back that seemed to have some games and tournaments going on I loved the demo tables -- such a smart way to actually try games before buying -- and the staff were genuinely friendly and knowledgeable without being pushy. It's the kind of store you plan to pop into briefly and end up staying for an hour (almost).

Noice! Upon entering, I was greeted cordially by the person at the counter, given a tour of the shop, and an explanation of their (mostly secondhand, but high quality) business model that allows them to undercut other shops, as well as the predatory pricing of certain miniature manufacturers (if you're a wargamer, you know who I'm talking about). Everything from RPG books, figurines, paints, board games, dice, toys and accessories can be found within, new and/or used, and if you're okay with a gently loved, open box copy of whatever it is you're looking for, it's likely going to be a steal of a deal! With a local presence as robust as its online counterpart; an incredible and extensive selection of esoteric essentials and accessories; friendly and helpful employees; and more-than-competitive prices, Mindtaker Miniatures is here to stay and play 'til the endgame, score a truckload of points, and emerge the likely victor of the gaming grand melee!

I've used several of Print & Play's services on multiple occasions: everything from purchasing various bits and bobs (meeples, tokens, etc), to printing custom cards, hex tiles, and even game boards. Apparently they even do 3D printing now, as well! Turn around time for most orders is around 48 hours, and the convenience of being able to drive up and pick up my order on a lunch break, bypassing shipping fees, is huge, and gets the components into my hands swiftly, allowing me to continue brainstorming and testing. That is, until I get a new idea, and have to print everything over again! /facepalm I would say prices are very reasonable; I've seen similar vendors online that charge the same or more, plus shipping, for the same quality of components, so I've yet to find a competitive alternative. My only negative experiences with Admagic were years ago, when two separate custom card deck orders ended up with upwards of half of the deck misprinted or improperly cut, resulting in ugly, off-center, virtually unusable cards. It took some sorting out through several (rather frustrated) emails on my part, and a discussion with the owner, Shari Spiro. Fortunately, we had serendipitously met at PAX a few years prior, and had exchanged information when we discovered we lived in the same town, and I was in the process of designing my own game. Once everything was sorted out, I was satisfied, and continue to use Print and Play's services to this day. Board game design feels like a "one-step forward, three steps back" process at times, but I'm glad to have Admagic there to help me pick up the pieces...as well as print new ones! Just be sure to check your orders for quality and accuracy.

The two guys who work in the day are very friendly and chatty. I popped in to browse their pokemon collection. They had a good collection of packs and a few boxes. I've been to other card stores that didn't have nearly as many. I was there just to browse, but the guys working were more than happy to entertain me and answer any questions I had and also show me everything they had that might interest me.

I've supported this shop for a long time, and they've supported my passion for the Pokémon TCG. I can literally see cards I once traded in sitting in their binders and display cases. But reflecting on my most recent visit, there are two issues that really stand out. 1. Trade-In and Cash Value Are Low The percentages they offer for both cash and trade are noticeably lower than other shops. A competitor priced the same cards roughly 30% higher--the only reason I didn't go with them that day was because their cash flow was low and they couldn't pay out at the time. That discrepancy alone is frustrating. 2. Staffing & Negotiation Have Become Inconsistent In the past, staff have always treated me respectfully. They weren't rude this time either, but historically they've been fair with negotiation--occasionally offering a small discount or working closer to market value. This time, that didn't happen. They insisted on giving "market value" for just one card and then even less percentage for the rest. I asked for around 40%, and we eventually agreed on a deal involving a $10 card. But at the last minute, I was pressured into dropping the deal by another ~5% "so everyone's happy." The truth is, I wasn't -- especially considering I was already accepting a lower percentage just to make the deal work. If I'm a regular customer, I don't expect special treatment, but I do expect fair negotiation. I wasn't even met in the middle at 35% on a $220 value. Bottom Line: If you're looking for a solid selection of cards and okay pricing, this shop is fine. But if you're interested in selling or trading, I'd strongly recommend going elsewhere. Unfortunately, the stereotype about some hobby shops being cut-throat with trade-ins feels pretty accurate here.
