    - Made in Oregon at PDX…read more Step aside, ordinary retail Made in Oregon is where class meets swagger. First off, the manager? The owner? Whoever's running that empire of evergreen excellence deserves a crown woven from Douglas fir needles and pure hustle. She's over, atop, and beyond like a virtuoso merchant conducting a symphony of "buy me now." Her energy lifts the whole room, turning casual wanderers into proud purchasers. It's that rare mix of hospitality and hip-hop cadence, where she greets you like royalty but hustles like she's dropping a platinum album. The products? A straight-up Renaissance of Oregon goodness. I browsed once, felt destiny tug my sleeve, and circled back like a loyal satellite making a round trip around Mount Hood itself. Christmas treasures glowed like poetry in tinsel form. Food items, jellies, coffee oh yes, that rich PNW coffee lined the shelves like a curated gallery of flavor. Souvenirs of every shape and shade called out with that "take me home" rhythm, as if each one had its own beat. It's hip-hop meets handcrafted heritage, and somehow it just works. So hear ye, hear ye whether you wander by with a latte in hand or drift through PDX looking for that final taste of Oregon magic, step inside this shop. Made in Oregon is a vibe, a verse, a little piece of the state wrapped in one dope boutique. One of my favorite stores in the whole airport no cap, no embellishment, just truth set to rhyme. Go check it out and let the artistry find you.

My final destination was not Oregon so I didn't specially need gifts to take home. What I did want was a state souvenir to take with me. Walking in, you are visually bombed with all sorts of colors and objects. I love stores like this. It requires you to take a minute to slow down and look at everything. They truly have everything here. From mugs to candy to sweatshirts, you'll find an Oregon themed gift here. I have so many shot glasses and mugs from different states that I have stopped at or traveled to. I started doing something different now. I slap a state sticker on my suitcase to represent each state I have been to. I have been to Portland a few times so this was a nice addition to my suitcase. It's an easy souvenir without it cluttering my cabinets. The sweet gal at the register checked me out. She was patient with me as I headed back to the stickers cause I couldn't decided between a couple. I really liked this store! Be cautious of your time! It's easy to get lost in time here with all the fun things to look at. You can lose track of it easily here!

My wife and I have frequented almost every hotel, and most of the pubs and taverns, and Edgefield is easily has the largest variety and quantity of offerings. If any location can be considered their flagship, Edgefield is probably it, and their care and attention to detail shows here. You'll find everything here, from apparel to craft brews, liquors, ice cream (spiked!), glassware, soaps and lotions, souvenirs, tchotchkes, doodads, and gizmos galore. There's also an espresso stand, which is a nice perk (hah)! If there is something McMenamins brand that you crave, there are few locations comparable to find what you're looking for: 23rd Ave, Old St. Francis (in Bend) both come to mind, but one of them's...a bit of a trek. And besides, who isn't looking for a reason to come to Edgefield?

Following I checked out of my room and went back to the gift shop to purchase the item - with my check out receipt I found that my partner (who does not share my name) had charged almost $100 worth of stuff to the room and his name wasn't even on the room!!!! That's wack. Ruined my happy experience. Why was an unmarked guest allowed to charge to a room and an actual guest was not??!
