Digging on a wolf!
Elle J.

I am not sure why I waited so long to check this place out. I guess when I'm at the airport I tend to focus on drinking, because airport drinking is one of my many hobbies. Enough about me and my totally healthy relationship with booze! Let's talk Oregon made goods! This shop has a good amount of items to fit any gift giving. Locally made soaps, candy, chocolates, beer, and wines. Makes it super easy then to bring a beer or a bottle of wine when you fly out of PDX... for gifts...yeah... I'm not 100% sure if the prices are typical. To me it all seemed pretty within reason. I have my eye on a a tea towel set ... don't you go there and buy them before I can! If anything, this is a great place to browse as you wait for your flight. Who knows? You might find something unexpected. Something very special and uniquely perfect for a gift you didn't know you wanted to give... Or pick up some wine!

There are two locations of the Made In Oregon store in the Portland Airport. One is located in Concourse C and this one, which is located in the Oregon Market at PDX. This location is pre-security so even if you aren't flying anywhere you can visit this store. Made In Oregon stores carry clothing, jewelry, arts and crafts, food, wine and beer. They're also a great place to pick up logo merchandise for our local sports teams, including the Ducks, Beavers and Timbers. They carry everything from scarfs to key chains. If you're a fan of the PDX carpet pattern merchandise, they have a variety of those items as well. This is a fun place to shop anytime so pay them a visit and you're certain to leave with something from Oregon.

This is a shop at the Portland International Airport that sells souvenirs with an Oregon theme, just like the name of the store states. I went in with the purpose of finding my son a Sasquatch t-shirt since I left it to the very last minute to get him one while we were actually in the city. It wasn't long before I found what I was looking for, but the only available sizes on display were the ones I didn't need. After explaining to the staff that I needed a mens' medium, the helpful lady who was there called to check the other Made In Oregon store located someplace else in the airport to see if they had the size we needed. Lo and behold, they did so the sales lady told us to return in about an hour and the shirt would be there. This kind of customer service is the stuff that deserves recognition and we were so grateful to end our trip on such a nice note. And my son loves his shirt!

My favorite item in the store

Similar to the ABC stores in Hawaii, there's a nice franchise here in Oregon for local knick knacks. These little shops are located at almost every mall and also the airport in Oregon. I still stopped by all of them to check out the goodies that they have. What made me LOL the most is the Sasquatch tee shirt with him riding a bike over the moon ET style with the caption "night rider" under the picture. Apparently the Sasquatch is the state animal here, there were tons of shirts, magnets and other souvenirs to buy and take home. There are tons of stuff to look at here. You can find something for everyone here from cosmetics, food and clothing. I purchased a few items for my friends and family back home. The staff at all the stores were extremely friendly and made me feel very welcome. What I love most about Oregon-no sales tax!

Made in Oregon in the Security area of PDX is just so awesome! Not only you can do some last minute shopping for something that are "made in Oregon". Here you can buy local craft beers.. and surprisingly even cheaper than getting from the brewery itself?! Rogue Voodoo Doughnut Maple Bacon Ale, such a pretty bottle (I have not tasted it as yet!) is cheaper here than buying it from Rogue Brewery Pub right next door!!! The lady here is so kind, wrap it up so nicely so I can carry that on the plane!! Check them out next time when you in PDX! And if you are coming to YYZ, please get me some as gifts!!!

Where Pendleton used to be, now decent wine kiosk for shopping before boarding----get a 4 or 6 bottle carrier, provided that serves as your carry-on. Spotted Brooks Temperance Hill and Rastaban PN as well as other Pinots with $70 price point, about the highest seen. Other less expensive labels: Erath, King's Estate, Etc. Decent selection for sale there----mark-up is slight.

This store in the A Concourse is at a perfect location to pick up those last minute items to take home, whether they be for gifts or for personal use. I do love the Made in Oregon stores. And the friendliness of the clerks is amazing. Evidently, this kiosk had a recent facelift and all of the clerks were bragging about it. It is nice to see a sense of pride that employees can have for their location. I agree with a previous reviewer that these clerks deserve a pay raise!

Hood National Forest, USDA Forest Service" As so apparently does this cool little mountain themed shop located within Terminal D. As I had a long wait for my flight home on a recent snowy Portland day, this was a nice place to wander and think about items for purchase including gifts for others. I ended up with a nice forged iron key chain attachment, will add some heft to my pocket.

Timberline was the only one that had everything I was looking for all in one place! For starters, they have various gifts that feature Mount Hood, locally made jams/chocolates, hand-painted ceramics and really cute clothes for all genders and ages. Although a lot of the smaller women's sizes had sold out! I was able to get something for my boyfriend, family and friends with ease, and it was nice doing it all in one place. I even bought myself a Mount Hood sweatshirt, as that was the primary reason for our visit. :) The girl working the register was really sweet and helpful. Rung us up quickly and wrapped the delicate ceramic stuff so it would be protected on the flight. Overall really great experience. I recommend it for a more outdoorsy vibe.

They have airport reasonable prices for locally made Marionberry jam, honey and some kind of salt that Oregon is known for. Some chocolate bars in nice packaging were $5. I would have bought some if I had any room in my luggage. Nice fashion jewelry, again prices are ok considering the location, not outrageously overpriced. Among the usual souvenir fare - keychains, stickers, and mugs were amusingly Sasquatch-themed. Small shirt section. Half the store is food and wine. Great customer service. Are Portlanders naturally really nice? Lol A female employee was helpful advising another customer what food are must haves from Oregon. For 50 cents I bought the cute little green plastic shopping bag for a bulky item and the pleasant woman me who rang me up thoughtfully offered to put my stickers in a flat paper bag to protect their shape from the bulky item I bought. Then she showed me how the snaps close the bag! It's durable with an eye-catching Made in Oregon" logo. Definitely worth checking out to pass time or buy cool things.

These are gift items people love to receive, not useless Knick-knacks. I live in Portland and I shop here for me! Many of the items represent the Portland Vibe and Keep Portland Weird themes with tye-dyed coffee mugs and shot glasses, bumper stickers, coasters and magnets. Also items that spotlight hiking, camping, nature, biking, bridges, and of course, rain. The Portland Food and Beer scene is also famous. Made in Oregon sell lots of items made with local ingredients like marionberry jam or chocolate covered blueberries or toffee made with hazelnuts. You can purchase beer, wine, coffee - our favorite beverages. BBQ and hot sauces. And don't forget donuts; Portlanders love their donuts! Representing this is a box of soaps shaped like donuts. Clever. I just love seeing all of these "Oregon" items in one place, it stirs up a sense of pride. Prices are reasonable, a little higher because of the novelty, but I feel the items are worth the price. Definitely worth stopping in to pick up some goodies to enjoy on your flight or at your destination. Or to gift to a taste of Portland to your friends.

I'm always inspired when I shop here because it's not about filling a home with stuff, it's about creating one that feels intentional and putting decor together in a way that is uniquely you. Their offerings are items you don't see everywhere - rich, copper colored macrame hangers, less common shapes and designs for incense holders, unusual glassware, etc. Their customer service is exceptional, too - warm, thoughtful, and genuinely kind. They don't hover while you browse yet ensure they're available if you have questions. Love this shop!

What a beautifully, thoughtfully curated store…read more On a recent trip to visit my daughter in Portland, she brought me to Alberta Street, to show me her favorite shops in the area. This was one. And with good reason! Just entering the store, I was suddenly immersed in a calming, nature-filled environment (their patio and garden wares were at the front of the store when we entered. Not sure if this was a seasonal set-up or if the store is like this year-round. All I can say is, to walk into a store and be surrounded by calming greenery and lovely garden items, it was a very welcoming entrance). The store was very garden-focused but the more I explored inside, I found so many beautiful household accessories and thoughtful hostess gift ideas - or items that I'd love to get for myself! Household fragrances and lotions and potions (all high end products, nothing cloying or tacky), lovely household decor items, some gourmet food items, kitchenware.... I could go on. The folks behind the counter greeted us warmly but weren't intrusive as we explored the shop. Still, it was good to know they were there if we had questions or were looking for a specific item. If I lived in the city, this would definitely be a go-to store for me to get gifts or household niceties for myself (!).
