I literally went in on a whim. I was tired of my look and now that I have my big girl job, I want to enhance my look and experiment. I went in with the goal of getting an eyebrow lamination with no prior research. I asked soooo many questions and was met with honest suggestions, you could tell they aren't money hungry and care about their clients. They started with threading where she asked me how I typically like the shape to look (I'm never asked that, so I was shocked). Then, she made them thinner so the lamination would look natural. I have a sparse tail, so she advised me to get them tinted as well, but I chickened out lol (I'll get it tinted next time) Eventually, I decided I also wanted a lash lift just to try it out. She (I wish I remember her name) took me to the back room and explained every step she was doing with my lashes. The room was relaxing enough to the point where I fell asleep. The lash lift took an hour, then she began laminating my brows . After the treatment, she gave me the do's and don'ts for maintenance. I elected to get my brows threaded and they offer both regular thread and organic thread (+$5) for sensitive skin. Because it was my first time ever getting my brows done, Sapna offered me organic thread free of charge. What a kind thing to do! Sapna first did a consultation where she measured my face and brows. She pointed out (kindly haha!) how my right brow was a tad thicker and higher than my left brow and I was truly grateful that she would be able to fix it while keeping my brows on the thicker side. She worked quickly, precisely, and checked in with me periodically to ensure I wasn't in pain. It was a pretty painless process to be honest! Note to folks coming in: don't wear eye makeup like I did, as it smudged off haha. No worries though, Sapna offered to take it off for me with a gentle cleansing solution. After she finished my brows, she went over them once more to clean up all edges and gave me a massage on my temples with soothing aloe gel--so appreciated. They have a loyalty program where if you come back within 3 weeks of your last appointment, threading is only $15! What a steal for the quality and service provided. Mine grow in super uneven and asymmetrical naturally, and after five years of trying different places in the city, she's the only person who gets the shape right every time. She's also super friendly (everyone here is!), and gives a great shoulder massage too. I had my first appointment with CC Brow Bar for a threading and brow mapping session. The ladies that worked there were super friendly and did a great job cleaning up my brows. Meticulous and pretty painless, which is always a plus! My appointment was originally for brow mapping and shaping (threading) and was supposed to be around 30 mins. However, I only had the brow threading, which took about 15 mins and was told I didn't need brow mapping but was still charged the full amount. I was told to come back next time and refer to the picture taken of my brows, but again, no actual mapping services were performed during my appointment. So, to have paid over $50 for a 15 min threading (not including tip) felt way overpriced so I didn't feel that I got the full value of services I paid for. Not sure if I would return based on value of service, but they did do a good job with the brow cleanup. read more

Wish I could give no stars. INTENSE BACTERIAL BREAKOUT ON FACE after getting cheeks threaded here. I have been getting my eyebrows, chin, upper lip threaded for years since I was 12. I decided to try this new place based off of good reviews and pictures. I wish I hadn't. My eyebrows did not come out anything that I wanted and the shape was changed entirely. I was given the option of normal and organic thread, I always use organic because of my sensitive skin even though it cost more- a discount of 9 whole dollars was given from $54 to $45 dollars for threading of eyebrows, chin, and upper lip. I wouldn't have gotten this for FREE if you gave it to me. It was NOT worth the painful acne and scarring that occurred from the BACTERIAL INFECTION caused by the threading on my cheek! I Googled "eyebrow salon near me" and CC Brow Bar came up with amazing reviews. The service is amazing even outside of the salon. They have a messaging system that texts you to remind you of your appointment. The location is a bit complicated to find, but Sonam texts you a video of how to get there and will make sure to be in touch by phone if you have trouble finding the place.
