We got the three sampler appetizer. Super yummy

The appetizer with the dips is definitely the highlight. We had the three sampler. The bread is fresh and warm. My favourite is the eggplant dip and yoghurt dip where my cousin really enjoyed the hummus and eggplants. We had stake and lamb skewer. I personally don't like the lamb taste even though it's well cooked it still feels very lambish. I really enjoyed the steak one.

Did you know they have an amazing happy hour??? I feel like it's a hidden gem because there's hardly anyone there, but their happy hour (3-6) as well as their daily specials are a fantastic deal!! Their food is also amazing and the portions are honestly huge, like you can't finish a whole entree yourself. Delicious too!! Also the drinks are amazing! They put strawberries in their mimosas and the One Night in Tehran cocktail is fantastic! And please leave room for desert because their saffron ice cream is amazing!! They also have a beautiful room and a fantastic patio with lots of seating as well. Their staff is always warm and super kind and welcoming. If you've never been here before, go!!! If you've been but never tried their happy hour, I definitely recommend it!!!

Cazba is a place to go for Persian food. Here with friends for dinner and great atmosphere. TV available for watch sports and spacious. Great for groups too. Some free parking spots available behind the restaurant. Meter street parking available also available too. Had the Loghmeh Vaziri and it was yummy. The waitress attending to us was available and always seeing if help is needed with refill for water.

    Cazba Feast! Yum!

My family and I stumbled upon Cazba (on Davie St.) when we were walking back to our hotel with a huge crowd of people after a big fireworks show at English Bay late one night. Luckily, Cazba is open late on Saturdays and it wasn't crowded like the other smaller restaurants in the area. We ordered the "Cazba Feast" combo platter, which comes with a variety of meats and grilled vegetables, three salads, basmati rice and it feeds 5-6 people. We're a family of five and we were starving due to a lack of food since lunch. So, the Cazba Feast was just the right amount of food to satisfy our hunger. The food was served promptly and everything was fresh and delicious. In our opinion, it's the best Persian food we've ever eaten and we're Asians from the Los Angeles / So Cal area. The servers were friendly and helpful, even though it was late at the end of the night. We asked for some hummus to go with the pita bread and our waitress happily gave us some and we weren't charged for it. =) The restaurant was nicely decorated with Middle Eastern accents. There's ample seating indoors and outdoors in the patio and there's even a small bar area inside. As an added bonus, the bathrooms were clean too. If you're looking for fresh, delicious Persian food in a casual, pleasant setting with excellent service, you should definitely check out Cazba! =)

An awesome experience to our amazing first day in Vancouver! The food was fresh, yummy and great portion. The sever was generous to let us taste the yogurt drink and then order. A very cozy place, friendly staff and a nice place to hang out with friends.

We have 2 Mediterranean food restaurants back home that we've tried and this place blows them out of the water. We made reservations for 630 but got there around 500 as our touristy activities gave us more time. We asked if we could squeeze in and they accommodated us, no problem. Service was great, food came quick and we realized very quickly that we ordered too much. Lol All the meats were soft and juicy and so so flavorful. Delicious!

Sparkling Water served tastefully. Loved it.

YESSSS! FINALLY!...... A decent Persian food restaurant near me that doesn't require me to remortgage my house just to eat there. The interior....clean, airy, bright and inviting. The service.....attentive, friendly and welcoming. Now....as for the food: My biggest pet peeve when dining out is when the food is warm or cold. Unless I'm ordering a salad, I want my food to be steaming when it arrives. The last couple of times when dining at other Persian restaurants, the food was cooked great but somehow was served almost stone cold. With Cazba downtown it was not only served hot (the way it should be), but it was beautifully seasoned. The koobideh was a bit dry, but forgivable considering everything else was so delicious. The chicken was very tasty. It had that smokey, grilled taste you'd only expect from a great bbq job and the inside was tender and juicy. The Persian rice was great quality and cooked just right. The Ghorme Sabzi was also lovely. Really enjoyed both dishes! What really stood out for me though was just that extra effort that was put in by the lovely wait staff. So, I always have sparkling water with every meal and usually I'm served just the bottle with a glass. I have to ask for the ice. I have to ask for the lemon and I have to ask for the straw. With Cazba downtown, I didn't have to ask for anything. My sparkling water came in a beautiful glass with ice and a slice of lemon and lime and an enviro-friendly straw (see pic.) Details, Details, Details.....loved the attention and effort. Thank you for the great lunch experience. Will be back for sure.

We love Cazba in north Vancouver but this time we decided to give this branch a try. We had a big group but they had a couple of servers helping our table and everything was fast and quick. For appetizers we wanted to order the tahdig (crispy bread) with stew but they didn't have any so we opted for a couple of their appz with eggplant. They were both super delicious. If you've never had eggplant give either mirza ghasemi or kaske bademjoon a try! I ordered the Loghme soltani which is a skewer of beef steak and a skewer of ground beef & lamp kebab. The food came on a beautiful platter and was juicy and delicious. The brag (steak) was a little tough but not too bad overall. Great food and great service and we left happy and full.

Good food and reasonable prices in the heart of Davie. One thing nice about eating at a place with a large group is in one swoop you can try a lot of dishes. On this visit we got the eggplant appitizors and those grape leaf things and loved them. The main dishes of grilled meats and the various stews all hit the spot making for a very flavorul and filling lunch. Service is also excellent. A lot of food choices on this street and in the past i missed this one much to my regret. We will be back next time we visit.

I got a chicken and beef/lamb mix combo. (20 bucks) Overall the meat and rice are very well done. Service and atmosphere of the place were pretty good. Reason I gave 4 star is the bbq tomato's, it's nice and char on the outside but not soft on the inside , it takes some effort to cut it with knife and it doesn't melt like it should. It may sound picky but that's how I like my tomato's at Persian places.

We came on a weekday night so we were seated right away. Took away a star since it took a while to order and get our food, even more the family that came after got their food before us even when they ordered after! Forgiven since they were there for their child's birthday! Food is honestly top notch, it doesn't leave you with that over salted and MSG bloated feeling after most regular Donair spots. Will definitely mark this down as my future go to spot for "quick" and good Persian food! Also super cool to see the chef bbq your food through a see through window!

Instead of eating at the restaurant, we opted for take outs and did it picnic style so that my little rascal can enjoy the food as well. I see the same staff member everytime I go and she's very friendly. I was drawn to their hot food counter, particularly the delicious looking potatoes yelling at my name, again. I'm a huge fan of Middle Eastern style potatoes and Sahel's version is great. They were cooked to perfection and smelled fragrant. I was worried that the kebabs and lamb would be too hard for my daughter but she munched right through! I love the interior as it feels relaxing. You can also tell that the owner spent effort with the interior decoration. The color scheme is appealing as is their usage of live plants. This is my second review of the restaurant and I still give them 5 stars. I've had a pleasant experience every time I visit Sahel~!

Honestly, this is one of my favorite coffee shops in Vancouver, there's something about the vibe here and the coffee that just brings me a lot of joy. I haven't really tried their pastries yet but I am looking forward to do so when I have a sweet tooth!
