Do I ding Door Dash or Cava? ...missing order on my delivery. 4 meals ordered... 3 delivered. ...now, we all enjoyed the meals we got (except the one poor soul who didn't get to eat (they ended up eating yesterdays leftovers)). So would I order from Cava again... yes. Would I have it delivered - no chance. If I am able to review Door Dash here on Yelp... I will relay more of this story including why some people should not be delivery drivers.

Cava is a great new food choice for Waldorf! For all my peeps complaining about long lines, wait times, messed up orders...sure, all of these things happen here. When have we ever gotten a new food joint in the Dorf that didn't get folks so excited that they overwhelm the new staff? It is a song as old as time here. What's great? I love the young staff, many that are excited to work their very first job. Give them some grace. The restroom is clean and my food is always good. I order online to skip the wait. My Lentil Avocado bowl tonight cost $16 (I added sweet potato). It will last me two if not three meals so that's a bargain! I will put Cava on my regular rotation and I have faith they will improve their processes with time.

5 STARS all the way !!!! This Cava location is by far the best one that I have been to. Clean, neat and smiling faces as soon as I hit the door. It was my fiancée's first time going and we definitely picked the best location for him to try! The food was made to perfection, the service was great and the nice young man Danny went the extra mile and made sure we were happy and taken care of! It overall gave straight 5 star restaurant vibes, and we will be back !

Only reason to give two stars is because after I drove all the way back they got it right. Entire staff was new. I ordered two meals online. After taking it all the way home , 20 minutes one way, I discovered I both orders were completely wrong. When I returned, I could see the ' manager pointing at the items to each employee and showing them what it was ( while re making our orders ) Apparently, no one making the orders could read English. They just filled the first order with whatever; like neither of us ordered rice nor meatballs. I respect that everyone wants to work, but to place an order online , give plenty of time for the pickup and the restaurant wasn't even busy , get it together Cava The manager did have it made right , but it took a lot to stay patient.

The service and the food is all around great! The workers are all incredibly friendly and accommodating. The inside is very clean and neat, which is very appreciated in a fast food place. I came around the early part of lunch, and it was pretty quiet. Most people seemed to have ordered ahead. The food is flavorful and comes in generous portions. I also appreciate that they provide paper straws (very eco-conscious)! If you're curious about this place, I say it's definitely worth checking out! I ordered: pita with braised lamb and sweet potatoes topped with hummus, tzatziki, lettuce, tomato, onion, corn, and avocado, with pineapple apple mint to drink

You see this bowl right here?....25 minutes in line waiting. This CAVA location has to find a rhythm quick or it's going to lose lots of customers. With the likes of Chipotle and, Sweetgreen, customers are in and out. No long waits due to a system that's in place. As I waited for my bowl to be prepared, I could hear staff saying, we are out of it, it's no more!! I thought to myself...."Really....it's dinner time!" I live in NOVA and I was in Waldorf, visiting family. CAVA locations I've visited in my neighborhood are on it!! No long waits and there is structure. Find your groove CAVA!!!

This is a brand new Cava location and the first here in southern Maryland. As expected with anything here, when it's new the lines are long. It was worth the almost 20 minute wait in line though. I got a 1/2 spicy chicken and 1/2 falafel spinach and rice bowl with avacado, tomato, cucumber, corn, crumbled feta and olives topped with lemon herb tahini dressing. I also had a side of their mouth watering crispy pita chips. I hate that I didn't take a picture but I ate it too fast. The pita chips alone were worth the visit. Everything was just so good. The only reason why I stopped eating was because I was over full! This is my new go to spot. Sorry chipotle but I'll probably be back to see you maybe maybe not.

When I walked in, the host -- who was not very friendly -- asked how many were in my party. I said "1," and she immediately told me I would have to sit at the bar, even though there were several open tables. I politely asked if I could sit at one of the two-top tables, but she said no because they were for reservations. I explained that I preferred not to sit at the bar. Looking back, I probably should have left then, but I was hungry, so I stayed. Once seated, I asked for the crab dip, only to find out they no longer had it. I then ordered the lamb chops, which I had enjoyed during my previous two visits. This time, however, they came out extremely pink and undercooked. I was shocked. The waitress told me they "don't cook them well done," but offered to take them back and have them cooked a little longer. Unfortunately, when they returned, they were still pink/red and literally bleeding. The waitress then said she was going to get "Mama" from the back. I told her that wasn't necessary if the restaurant simply does not prepare lamb chops well done anymore. I was very disappointed and didn't realize things had changed over the last few months. Overall, the customer service was poor, and the food quality was nowhere near what I experienced during my previous visits. The pictures shown are from when she brought them back to me.

It's the kind of sensory preview that makes you quicken your step. The restaurant is bookable via Resy, making it an easy choice for those looking to apply dining credits from American Express Gold or Platinum cards, always a welcome convenience when planning a night out. Despite being a weekday, the dining room was notably busy, buzzing with the energy of what feels like a family-run establishment. There's a warmth to the atmosphere, personal, lived-in, and authentic, that suggests a loyal local following. That said, it was clear the crowd may have slightly outpaced staffing levels. While the service itself was courteous and attentive, there were noticeable delays with drinks and refills, understandable, though worth mentioning. We started with the Southern Maryland Crab Dip, which delivered solid flavor and a generous blend of cheese and crab. I would have welcomed a bit more artichoke heart for balance, and perhaps an additional slice or two of bread. With only four slices provided, the ratio leaned heavily in favor of the dip, fortunate in abundance, but impractical in execution, as even those slices were quickly overwhelmed. The Chicken Kabob proved to be a reliable and satisfying choice, tender, well-seasoned, and thoughtfully plated. The accompanying sides of sautéed broccoli and grilled zucchini were properly portioned, with the zucchini sliced just thick enough to retain its texture and flavor. When deciding between the Makaronia Me Kima, Basil Pesto, Galazio Special Carbonara, and Pastitsio, I deferred to the waiter's recommendation. Without hesitation, he pointed to the Pastitsio, a choice that paid off. Comforting and familiar, it's a dish many have enjoyed in different forms without necessarily knowing its proper name. The portion was generous enough to leave me with leftovers, which made for an excellent lunch the following day. Dessert brought the evening to a high note with the Greek Chocolate Mousse Cake. Lighter than expected, it avoided the density often associated with chocolate desserts while still delivering richness and satisfaction. The portion was ample and easily shareable. Overall, it was a very good dining experience, welcoming, flavorful, and largely well-executed. One small disappointment, however, came in the form of a missed detail. When booking, the reservation notes requested acknowledgment of my GF's birthday, not a complimentary dessert or special treatment, just a simple candle to mark the occasion. Unfortunately, it went unnoticed. It's a minor thing in the grand scheme, but one that matters in moments meant to be remembered. Had I known it wouldn't be honored, I would have brought a candle myself. That aside, the experience was still a positive one. I would recommend the restaurant and expect to return. With just a bit more attention to the finer details, it could easily elevate itself from good to truly memorable.

I ordered the Vibrant Vegan bowl with falafel, brown basmati rice, lentils, tabbouleh, hummus, pickled onions, cabbage slaw, and lemon garlic sauce. Every ingredient tasted fresh and intentional. The falafel had a perfect crisp exterior while staying soft and herbaceous inside, and the lemon garlic sauce tied everything together beautifully. As someone who loves Cava, this immediately gave me that same customizable Mediterranean experience -- but honestly, this bowl held its own. The vegetables were crisp, the portions generous, and everything looked just as good as it tasted. Even after taking it back to the hotel, it still ate incredibly well. This establishment seems to be Egyptian owned, as the walls claim that Egyptians created bread, cupcakes and falafel. The service was fine, though the tables could have been cleaner. I didn't realize you could also get white sauce, green sauce, etc, so I probably wouldn't get tzaziki and get olives or something else next time. The chicken and rice combo was a bit overly spicy for me and upset my stomach slightly. I'd probably get regular for both the next time.
