Instead of stopping the order or clearly communicating my options, the staff substituted chicken in both bowls without properly informing me or adjusting the pricing. To make matters worse, the food I received was cold, which further reflects a lack of care in preparation and service--especially considering the substitutions were already mishandled.

I then ordered the lamb chops, which I had enjoyed during my previous two visits. This time, however, they came out extremely pink and undercooked. I was shocked. The waitress told me they "don't cook them well done," but offered to take them back and have them cooked a little longer. Unfortunately, when they returned, they were still pink/red and literally bleeding. The waitress then said she was going to get "Mama" from the back. I told her that wasn't necessary if the restaurant simply does not prepare lamb chops well done anymore. I was very disappointed and didn't realize things had changed over the last few months. Waited about 10 -15 minutes for our order and when it was delivered to the table, it looked like a true NY-Style Calzone. 12" pizza folded in half with a lot of ricotta and mozarella cheese with the toppings but when we cut through the middle of both of the calzones, the middle of the calzone was still cold, so the cheese wasn't fully melted and we could see individual pieces of shredded mozarella cheese on top of uncooked ricotta. This was the same with both calzones. The one I ordered with pineapple had all of the toppings I asked for but my wife's, who had ordered sausage in hers, was missing the sausage. We mentioned to our server that there was no sausage in the calzone my wife had asked for and they offered us a free tiramisu cake in addition to removing the cost for the sausage. The sauce didn't have the same zip to it as it did the first day I went there. A huge difference in a matter of mere weeks. Not so sure I want to take the chance again at this establishment.
