Cava is fresh, healthy and delicious and has great choices. My only wish is that there were more of them.

This place is amazing! This was my first time coming here and I wasnt disappointed. This place exceeded my expectations especially because Im a picky eater and I've never tried this place before. I got saffron rice, falafel, fresno peppers, roasted corn, grilled chicken, red bell pepper humus, and garlic sauce on top. It was so delicious! I didn't expect to like it this much because I usually stick to "basic" food like chicken tenders or something. I'm so glad I tried this place out and I'll definitely go here again! It's located in Town Center so it's in a good area and the inside is super chic. The workers were really nice and helpful in helping me pick out food. It was a lil bit pricey but the food was definitely worth it read more

Can't really complain - It's a Mediterranean Chipotle. The price is good for what you're getting , and the flavor is superb. The hummus is creamy. The meat is joosy, the falafel falafely. Every crunch I get is an amazing texture of everything that I have chosen, so I know and I hope it is good. Can't go wrong with this unless you make poor choices in life lol read more

We stopped here for a quick lunch lunch while shopping and were delighted with our meals. Everything was flavorful, interesting drink options were fine and it was super quick and convenient. They are fast casual place that has build your own bowls with many options of vases to select from including several types of greens and grains or a mix of both. Several protein options, many delicious sauces and a bunch of toppings and dips as well. I picked a mixed green bowl with chicken and all the veggie toppings topped off with garlic sauce and feta dip which made for delicious and healthy option. Will definitely come again. read more

Great food, skimpy service. Imagine paying $30+ for food where they skimp out on giving you adequate portions. Im not mad I don't get the biggest portions, I'm mad they give portions that could barely feed a 10 year old. Great food but price compared to the amount you get is close to insane. read more

#34/2020 Love, love, love! Everything tasted fresh and flavorful! At the time of my visit, I wasn't expecting a crowd because it was past the lunch rush on a weekday however it was busy! I used the handy, small menu cards posted on the half wall before entering the line to help me put together my order. The Grain + Greens Bowl was perfect for me. At first I didn't think it would be enough food but it held me over for a long time. I opted to try half grilled chicken and honey chicken among other tasty toppings. My favorite sauces are tzatziki, Greek dressing, and hummus. Oh, and their pita (both soft and fried? baked?) is bomb!!! Can't wait to try everything else over & over! I appreciate their efforts to use recycled items while encouraging customers to recycle their trash. For example, the forks are made from plant starch. Even though paper straws aren't my favorite, you can request regular plastic straws from staff. Download their app where you can also place orders ahead for pickup inside from the shelf labeled alphabetically. I don't think it's a great place for large groups as most tables are for 2-4 guests but I noticed bench seating if you can snag some of it if you have more than 4 in your group. Weather permitting, though, there's ample seating outside! read more

Fast, fresh Mediterranean food!! Located in town center, right next to Barnes & Noble and across Shake Shack. Good amount of shared lot parking. Light wood theme decor and tables, very well lit space; you will definitely get some good Yelp/foodie/IG pics here. As many have said, it is similar to Chipotle where you create your own meal as you go, and then pay at the end. 1. The options are: Grain Bowl Salad Bowl Greens + Grains Mini Pita + Soup Single Mini Pita 2. Dips & spreads, choose up to 3 options: Tzatziki Eggplant & Red pepper Hummus Roasted Red Pepper Feta Harissa 3. Protein options: Harissa Chicken Honey Braised Lamb Spicy Lamb Meatballs Chicken Falafel Grilled Meatballs Roasted Vegetables (Upcharge on the first 3 listed above.) 4. Toppings: Numerous toppings I won't list, and you can choose as many as you'd like. 5. Dressing: Yogurt Dill Lemon Herb Tahini Greek Vinaigrette Harissa Yogurt Skhug Garlic Average is going to be about $10-12 a person. Service was efficient. Sometimes I get put on the spot when there's a long time and I feel like I have to decide fast (toppings wise.) It's better for me to look at a menu and decide ahead. Lol. There was one particular worker that stood out, she was very friendly and helped us in the beginning, told us about the app (you should download this as well. Hello, rewards!) She gave recommendations on the different juices, and gave great customer service all around. I wish I had gotten her name so I could put it here. Next time! :) They also have an "order and pay ahead" system via the app, and you would just pick your order up on the designated pick-up shelf across from the drink station. It is organized alphabetically. Cava VB gets 4.5 stars from me, rounding up. *Review #20 of 2020. read more

Cava, welcome to the 757. I am so glad I am within a 10 minute drive to this place. Cava is one of the BEST fast casual restaurants you will EVER dine in at or do take out. The food here is fresh, undeniably delicious and highly addicting. You think you know flavor explosion? You've never been to Cava before then. Cava is the equivalent to Chipotle, but with Mediterranean food. You go down a cafeteria style like line and choose your base, dressings, protein, toppings, etc to create your perfect dish. Below are my go to selections. Base: grains or pita Dips/Spread: try out all their dips and spread, they are all unique and very tasty- they give samples if you don't know what something tastes like! Protein: their braised lamb is freaking delicious and I am never getting any other protein here. It's tender and it's well seasoned all around. I need this recipe ASAP. Toppings: cucumber and feta Tip: you HAVE to get the Pita Crisps. These are soooooo good. I wish they came in a larger size. Their garlic dressing is something I can put on anything. Their juices are also very good; try mixing some of their flavors. Their space here is a little bit small but that's probably because everyone and their mom is trying to come here. Go eat at Cava, it'll be one of the best decisions you'll ever make. read more

Good grief I love CAVA. I was thrilled to see it come to Virginia Beach because it's the best thing ever and now we don't need to drive to Richmond or Arlington to eat it. I pretty much eat the same thing every time. Greens + Grains with half SpendidGreens, half Saffron Basmati, and then toppings, roasted veggies, and harissa yogurt. It just makes my veggie loving heart so freaking happy. And the Blueberry Lavender juice - just call me Veruca Salt and roll me out the door because I drank all of it (kidding...maybe). My husband goes for their pita and always sings its high praises. The new shop is a great space. My only gripe is that it was really loud and hard to hear when someone was talking to me (high ceilings, open seating will do that), but I got over it quickly, because it's delicious. Once it is warmer outside I will definitely sit out there. I will be back, probably daily because who's going to stop me? read more

I eat here A LOT. And I mean a lot. But tonight 05/31 I was pretty frustrated with what I got. It's always good, but tonight the lentils weren't cooked. They were hard and kind of inedible. I ordered extra of quite a few things, and it seemed like that wasn't paid attention to. The bowl was much lighter than usual. The portions were extremely skimped. I ordered double extra pita and got half of what I usually got. I'm just disappointed. I look forward to getting cava when I can, but tonight was tough. I might try to the Chesapeake location from now on, because I definitely didn't get what I paid for at this location. I'll never stop eating at Cava, but I really hope this is paid attention to and fixed. read more

Has eat in with social distancing, outdoor seating, and curbside available. Staff was wearing masks as well as customers required. Food is full of flavor. Staff is accommodating if you want an item on the side in case you don't like it. Highly recommend. It's like a Mediterranean version of Chipotle! read more

4 years ago, we went to Tyson's Corner mall and saw CAVA with a long line so we didn't bother going in.... now I know why! Their food is perfection! I got basmati rice (grain) with braised lamb and roasted vegetables (protein) with harissa, crazy feta, and tzatziki (dip/spread) a whole bunch of different toppings topped with lemon tahini sauce. Like I said, PERFECTION! Will def be my go to spot in town center now. The place has your usual hipster vibe. You'll be in line Chipotle style (lol) and would probably worry a bit if you suffer from anxiety if you'd have a spot to sit when you finally get your food. You may or may not, to be honest, so for me, I just tell them I want it to go just Incase there's no seats available, I can just bring it to my car and eat in silence with my beau. It's a self seating place so you find a seat, you sit there and eat, then you get your ish, clean up your area, and bring your dirty dish to the dirty dishes station and go on about your biz. The place is clean (pretty brand new) and have designated men/women restroom. Didn't need to use the restroom though =\ ... next time! read more

We went to CAVA just after they opened and I expected there to be glitches and struggles because it just opened but it was actually really good. We went just as they opened to beat the rush and the food is amazing. The customer service was great too. I love that they have so many options for vegetarians, and are pretty allergy friendly. This will definitely be on our go to list for eating out when we want a quick meal. read more

This salad bowl was AH-mazing! It's the White Sweet Potato and Feta bowl (minus rice) and it was too delicious. This place has a fresh look and right on the corner of the Barnes and Noble. I went right before the lunch hour rush (11am ish) and I sat and read my book and filled my tummy with this yummy goodness. The blueberry tea mixed with lemonade is MAGNIFICENT with this. Great portion sizes and food, friendly workers and wore a smile. Clean restaurant and would go back forsure.

Visited 2 weeks ago. We recently moved to the area, and were excited to see CAVA. We have been to CAVA all over the state of Virginia, and they have been terrific. One of our favorite restaurants! You can imagine how disappointed we were to find the employees acting like we were unwelcome during our entire visit. They gave so little food, we were wondering if they had to pay for it themselves. One particular female employee even argued with us about the amount of food we requested. We were wondering if it may have been a racial issue (we are white), since we had never been treated with such disrespect at any other CAVA location. Needless to say, we will not go back to this specific restaurant. What a bummer! read more

Food here is super salty, overly priced and honestly both times I eat there I felt sick afterwards. Planning on never coming back. Thanks but no thanks read more

Overall, the customer service has gotten better. However, there are a lot of unsanitary practices taking place. Some workers touch their hats, hair, and face while making orders, which is very unsettling. read more

I wish I could give zero stars. This restaurant is the worst, most mismanaged establishment i have ever had the displeasure of visiting. Everyone on the team should fired immediately. I don't usually leave reviews, but the service here is beyond terrible. I swore this location off last year and thought I'd give it another try. Nope same result. Placed an order online 45 minutes prior and still have to wait in the store for 30 minutes to receive food that I paid almost 50 dollars for. They seem to always be out of meat and waiting for more to be prepared. I will absolutely never visit another Cava again. This is the Landstown location in Virginia Beach for those wanting to avoid a terrible experience. read more

Gave this place another chance. Falafel was mushy and undercooked in the middle. Also, literally witnessed the cook (Black, hefty, older male) cough into the chicken he was grilling. Nobody said a word and the manager (younger, hefty White woman) did not even notice. They need to be wearing masks in here. BEWARE! I'll take my business to the Landstown location from now on. read more

Went tonight to pick up food. Unfortunately the staff is just horribly rude. They seem bothered by any request and acted as if they did not even want to be there. This is normally the Cava we go to however I am beginning to see Landstown's Cava is a better choice.
