    Spicy Chicken + Avocado

Cava is a quick and light staple. This location was very busy. However the server accommodated my change request to my bowl with a smile. I typically get the Harris's Chicken + Avocado bowl with the not spicy chicken. And change a few of the toppings. The warm side of pita is always yummy as well! I do enjoy their lemonade. Whether you're coming for a quick bite to go, a business meeting, or just time with family, I recommend CAVA.

Cava has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants ever since I discovered the wonderful flavors of Mediterranean cuisine. Recently, I tried out a new location in Town Center. The aesthetic, the vibes, the whole feng shui of the place just worked. It's one of those restaurants where you instantly want to pull out your phone and take a few pictures because the space is that inviting. I love that there's both indoor and outdoor seating. Whether you're looking to soak up some fresh air or enjoy the cool comfort inside, you'll have a great spot to sit. The food? Always fresh, flavorful, and consistent exactly why Cava stays in my top tier of go-to spots. This location has now officially been added to my list of regular stops.

This is my favorite Cava to go to. It's busy but the quality is usually spot on. The workers are kind and efficient and importantly the food is absolutely delicious. Even when it's packed I usually can find a place to eat as well. It's a great atmosphere to eat for lunch or dinner. I like to grab a few bites in the restaurant before taking the rest home. A bowl with honey harissa chicken or the kids meal are my go tos. The crazy feta is my favorite dip and the cucumber mint drink mixed with lemonade is my favorite drink. I also loveeee the salted oat cookie they sell at the register for the perfect treat afterwards.

My first time ordering here....Food was great and fresh and low on calories. I'm upset because I had curveside pickup and had to go inside because they forgot my dipp sauces and extra tzatziki sauce in my bowl, employee's need to pay attention....Updated post still forget sauces, dont oder online best to go inside and order smh

Cava Town center Since this was our first time here, we had to rely on the staff to help us step through the process of building a bowl or pita. Everyone there was very helpful and patient. We came during a busy time, and it was nearly 90% full and yet we never felt rushed by the staff. I built a bowl of brown rice, black lentils, olives, red pepper humus, and some terrific sweet and spicy chicken. The food was very fresh, and I felt rejuvenated after eating it! My wife had a Greek salad, slightly modified with shredded beef and chicken which was also fresh and delicious. The garlic dressing was exquisite. There are many options for building a bowl or a pita sandwich. You could go with grains and protein, or grains, greens and protein or just greens. They're also some interesting looking curated meals to select from. We will definitely return here because the food was healthy delicious and we both felt great afterwards.

CAVA arrived in Virginia Beach pre COVID and only had one opportunity to check them and dined in. Fast forward three years and change I find myself a big fan. The Town Center location is now their second on the city with other being in the Princess Anne area. It's a very popular fast casual that's caught fire and typically is crushed during lunch hour. My daughter has been one of those frequent lunch visitors. Parking is an half star deduction because it typically is challenging. Also parking near the building is too tight with a narrow path. Uber Eats and others line up in front for delivery orders. It gets very congested. Once inside it's a nice atmosphere with plenty of natural light, high ceilings and open floor plan throughout. Jump in line and look at the menu board choices and wow there are choices. Get bowls that are set with fresh ingredients, or customize to your specifications. Or go wild and completely build something original. Often you will have enough for leftovers. I have enjoyed the Lemon Chicken several times and left everything as described. My last was chicken and right rice. Don't skip on their specialty fountain drinks. I adore the Blueberry as does my daughter. The staff overall is more friendly than not. Checkouts have been smooth. If you say eat in you can get a real bowl... THANK YOU! No tip on card, cash only. I will be back and need to be more adventurous. Keep in mind you can also enjoy alfresco.

Cava is one of my favorite places to eat for a quick and delicious Mediterranean bowl. Since I was in the area, I headed there around 9pm and thankfully they were still open (many places in the area close by 9pm). Unfortunately, the first thing I noticed was how messy the food area was. In previous visits, the food area has been very clean but maybe they were just busy that night and hadn't had the time to clean it. As I was selecting my bowl options, the first girl preparing my bowl didn't seem quite friendly which was also abnormal but I didn't pay it any mind. For my bowl, I chose the Grilled Chicken with a little Supergreens and Saffron Basmati Rice. I also included the Roasted White Sweet Potatoes (they are delish) with Corn, Tomato & Cucumber & Cabbage Slaw and topped it with lots of Crumbled Feta. I like my sauces on the side so I can pour as much or little as I want and my favorite go-to sauces are the Garlic Dressing, Hot Harissa Vinaigrette and the Skhug. The bowls are also served with pita bread. My bowl tasted amazing as always! I absolutely love Cava and will definitely return, I just hope the staff is a little more friendly next time and the food area is a more tidy.

First time for me to try CAVA. Love this place. Got here on Saturday late afternoon and still there's a line, indicative of the following CAVA has. I ordered to go: lemon chicken bowl with everything on it, pita and dressing on the side (VERY lemony!!) Everyone was so efficient in their "assembly line" of making those bowls, salads of pitas. The ingredients are very fresh (brown edges on the lettuce or bruises on spinach!), pickled onions are good, tahini and hummus are spot on. The roast chicken serving was generous and perfectly seasoned. Very reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

And the food only paled in comparison to the service. I'm not sure if Alvaro is the owner or related to the proprietor--it's obvious he LOVES his job, he was engaging and knowledgeable and his recommendations were spot on. He suggested the Mezze platter as our appetizer (I ended up eating it as my entire meal). He also was so animated and excited about the buttery sauce that was used in the process of making the lamb chops, we ordered both purely because he was so confident we would like them. And that is where he made his mistake--we didn't LIKE them; we LOVED them! The lamb was cooked to perfection. The appetizer platter was an explosion of flavors--and trust me, the falafel alone is worth the trip back. All too often, falafel is made with the premise that bigger is better. Falafel can taste gummy and dry if it made too large. Baladi had mastered the perfect falafel. They make them small, crunchy and flavorful. Hands down, it was my favorite. And then I tasted the babaganouush! Oh my, my, my! I didn't think the falafel had competition, but that babaganouush nearly melted in my mouth. Look for me when you visit here because Baladi is my new favorite restaurant.

The food was ready in about 8 minutes and the gentlemen brought it out to my car, which was very nice. I liked the chicken gyro. It was different textures because of the toppings with a good taste and crunch. The chicken tawook was also good. I liked the beef as well, it was tender and the sauce on it was good. The hummas and tzatziki sauce tasted good also. It made the gyros better. I like that the gyros are rolled kinda long and thin so its easy to eat without everything spilling out. You could easily eat it and drive. The rice was cooked just right. It had no flavor at all, but it was somehow still good... I'd return to try other things. If your looking to try some different foods, this is a good place to try... I got some drinks and a few were good, but one was to sweet. I had fun picking out random things to try though. 4 stars!!

5 STARS -- A Standout Mediterranean Street Food Gem in Virginia Beach…read more My experiences with Mr. Sharma go back to their original Norfolk location, where I first met their personable owner, Avi and partner Tal. Both are incredibly skilled at what they do. Their passion for Mediterranean street food shows in every detail of the operation. I've now visited the new Beach location on Laskin Road several times, and each visit reinforces just how impressive this business is. Last year, Avi even gave me a tour of the back of the house. It's state-of-the-art--spotless stainless steel everywhere, top-tier equipment, and a layout that shows real thought and pride in the craft. Parking when busy can offer challenges, but I had no issue. They offer a clean dining room to enjoy your food inside, or on a nice day alfresco on their patio. Customers self bus their tables. On my most recent visit, I ordered Avi's favorite dish, the chicken shawarma in a pita pocket. Outstanding--easily one of the best versions I've had that's loaded with humus, slaw, fries and their in-house sauces. I also met the general manager, Melissa, who was warm, friendly, and clearly invested in maintaining the high standards of freshness that make this place shine. She mentioned that Avi is back in Israel but still travels often, which tracks with the care and consistency the team maintains. I also had samples of their amazing falafel and egg plant which is like candy...yum! The Virginia Beach restaurant itself is clean, bright, and incredibly well put-together. A detail most people will miss, but shouldn't--is the noise-reducing ceiling panels. It's the kind of thoughtful touch that tells you the owners think about every part of the customer experience. Mr. Sharma is one of the most overlooked fast-casual restaurants in Virginia Beach, and frankly, it shouldn't be. This is a long overdue review and it's an easy five stars from me. If you haven't visited their new Laskin Road location yet, you're missing out. Mr. Shawarma holds a special place in my heart and cannot recommend enough.
