Unfortunately today will be the last time I get food from this specific location. Lately every time I have done I've had my order wrong but I've tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. It will be missing items in my food or on the website they don't mark that they are all out of a particular item so when I get there excited to have my food, turns out the thing I need in my food is out so I can't have it and that's extremely disappointing. Today, I went to go pickup my order and my order was confused with a bunch of other orders under the same name. It turns out my order was mixed up with someone else's and I got something completely wrong and it was insanely frustrating as I was already at work enjoying my food. I absolutely love Cava and this location is my favorite yet. It's always super clean and well stocked. Taylor made my bowl and was incredibly sweet and helpful despite the fact that I came in right at closing. She provided me with samples, all my dressings on the side, and happily accommodated my peculiar dietary requests such as draining my lamb with a smile. I was disappointed with the lack of accuracy the first time we ordered from here but the food was tasty and we figured we'd give it another try. They screwed up even more the second time around. Our orders were wrong, they forgot to put in almost half of the items that I ordered, including the ones that I paid extra for. The second entree was not only missing items, but a few of that order. My portion was so tiny that it doesn't even count as a side salad. The lack of care by their employees on how they look at orders, and actually try to prepare them is quite frankly very disheartening. I've posted a picture of my salad. Please note that the residue on the side of the bowl is not because food was there but it was because I kept mixing my salad trying to find my ingredients. I'm more than happy to pay for good food, but when they charge you $66 for two salads and they can't get even one right and they decide to charge you for items not included. I consider that thievery. The irony of a Cava opening right next door to a Chipotle seeing as I would describe it as a Mediterranean version of Chipotle. So happy this location opened as it will definitely be my new quick food spot! I chose to make my own bowl. I love how many options they have for all of the ingredients. I chose half brown rice half super greens as my base, though later I found out that there is also some kind of chickpea grain option, which I will have to try next time. I went with red pepper hummus, and crazy feta as the next choices, lots of toppings that I can't exactly recall, and a few sauces that paired well. They were also not stingy about providing extra toppings or dressings on the side when asked. For $13, I got a bowl that I could hardly finish packed with what I imagine are on the healthier side of fast casual dining ingredients. I've been coming to this cava often and when I came in today, I was surprised to see how different it was from it was only 2 weeks ago. Everyone before me and after me had the same question, "can I have a little more?" One of the reasons cava was great was it never skimped out on the portions, but today even with the extra chicken (that was an additional charge) it was less than a normal serving before!
