First tried this place in Denver. I LOVE it! It's a fancier chipotle with tzatziki sauce (my fave). Spicy and regular options, salads, bowls and pita wraps. Wish there were one in New Braunfels, as the mix and match options are endless. read more

Fresh food. I love their bowls and very easy and quick to order and pick up. Definitely will be back!

Basically, chipotle but with mediterranean food! Was a bit difficult to know what flavors to mix together - they have some "chef curated" bowls and pitas but I think it would be nice to have a few more. I ended up building my own bowl and even though I had no idea what I was doing it ended up good! Definitely a place to experiment a bit with different flavors to get it just right though. Overall really liked the place and will be back to keep trying new things! read more

CAVA - Green + Grains bowl - Salad Near Me - San Antonio, Texas

Food has always been good. It's fresh and healthy, filled with tons of vegetables and lean proteins. My favorite is the sweet potatoes and garlic sauce. I've had great service from Benji, Sommer, Bella, Nina and Jayson. They are attentive, accommodating and quick to get my order taken care of. Read a review about one of the girls having scalp issues and feel it should be taken down for attacking the employee. I think I know who their speaking of and she has psoriasis. She's always been great and keeps her hair in a tight bun with cap covering her hair. It's highly inappropriate and should be tagged by yelp to be taken down. read more

Cava was excellent today. My sister raves about this place constantly and when I heard it was finally coming to San Antonio I was so excited and it did not disappoint. Flavors are bold, meats are cooked perfectly and portions are huge. I love the build your own aspect and they let you choose a little bit of everything if you want to. Staff was friendly, attentive, and gave great suggestions. We loved everything they recommended especially the lamb meatballs. I'm not a huge lamb person but I love theirs. It wasn't overly gamey, juicy, and spiced perfectly. I definitely want to give a shout out for their Harissa and Hummuses because they were great. The roasted pepper hummus is actually one of my favorites that I've ever had. Also, get the saffron basmati rice, you won't regret it. If I had any complaint: it would be that their tzatziki sauce could have used a little more flavor to me. It was very sour cream forward and not much else. I love sour cream though so it wasn't a deal breaker for me. This place is my new obsession. Can't wait to go back. read more

My first trying and won't be my last! The person helping us was named Lake and he was super helpful explaining the menu and showed patience to everyone he was helping. He even comped our meal for us first timers. So sweet of him! Then we tried the food. We got the bowl with the rice, braised lamb, and chicken and all our fav toppings. Everything was phenomenal and we'll be back! read more

Another California restaurant imports to TX. Calories are posted up. Very small and efficient menu. Not much for kids on the menu, but if you are smart, just get them a bowl of basmati rice and chicken. I loved the flavors, but falafels are small and didn't add much to my pita. Disappointed in the crispy falafel pita, it was a large taco. It wasn't crispy at all. I have had Falafel king in West LA for many years growing up, and this place falls way short of that experience. The falafel pita didn't look appetizing at all. It looks like a large taco, and the pita doesn't taste like any pita I have ever tasted. It's almost airy like a piece of bread. A Mediterranean falafel is flat and can be sliced open to stuff items inside. Well, needless to say the pita isn't very good, but what they put inside would taste good if the falafels were actually larger than a quarter. They put four falafels in each pita, not enough. The wife's bowl tasted great, she had the lentil avocado bowl. It's basically a salad with good ingredients. The proteins they offer are chicken and lamb meatballs. The chicken is grilled well and has a good taste. The value for what you get is adequate. Would I come back ? Hmmmmm, I don't know. My wife would, but I left hungry. This place has potential. They put very little in my pita, like they were rationing out the ingredients with little tiny scoopers, maybe two tablespoon of hummus and roasted eggplant. Which is not very much, but I guess could be enough if the falafel and yogurt melded better in flavor. read more

Take my money I am obsessed with Cava!! It's so good I eat here at least once a week. The spicy lamb meatballs are out of this world. The cucumber mint agua fresca is refreshing and not too sweet. I dream of my next meal here. read more

So I have been to Huebner and Alamo Heights locations, and sadly I won't return here. I needed Uber Eats because I was at my doctor's office, and not only was my order not prepared with the double quantities that I selected on the app (y'all think I never ate here before?), but I didn't get any utensils or napkins for my SALAD, plus the roasted vegetables were BURNED, to the point it made me sick. Disappointed. Also, I think someone drank my drink. I waited a long time to be delivered a subpar order. Back to Huebner location it is! read more

In three words, Cava is quick, delicious, and affordable. We typically drop by when short on time and coin. Cava delivers the chew with a smile. While the atmosphere is very spartan, that's not the draw. Consider this a meal for the busy, with a nuance of the Med. I like the spicy paste, too. read more

The reason I don't give it a 5 is because the line always takes forever to move. However, if you don't mind waiting then it doesn't matter. The food is great though! I love how fresh everything is and the flavors, ohhhh the flavors! read more

Huge variety of greens to start! Everything super fresh. Lamb, chicken, and roasted veggies to add. Yummy tzatziki and other dips to flavor. Feta, olives, avocado, a whole bunch of my favorites to top a great salad, or warp or bowl. Check their drinks: cucumber, mint, and lime, raspberry lemonade - great combinations. New addition to their lineup is a toasted pita (try it you will like it). read more

This was my first time at CAVA. It was super delicious and worth all the hype. I did not have the best experience with the workers customer service but the fresh food and many options made up for it. I loved Zoës, so I was willing to give this place a try. Overall-- I'd recommend. Food is good. Portions are good. Prices are as expected. Customer Service: 5 Stars Experience: I placed a large order togo and 2/6 of the bowls were made incorrectly. I brought it to the managers attention and he quickly offered a remedy. Very satisfied with his responsiveness and willingness to correct the issue. Lines are long but move quick. Parking can be a challenge so be prepared to circle a few times or just walk a little farther. They keep the place clean despite the heavy foot traffic. Keep it up! I will be back. read more

The food here is tasty. It's pricy for "fast food," but that is to be expected. I am a huge fan of their harissa and harissa vinaigrette (the harissa and other condiments can be bought a Whole Foods), and it pairs well with the fire roasted veggies. I moved from the east coast and was shocked they had CAVA here. It's definitely a place to grab a quick lunch or dinner if you dont want to cook lol. read more

I am wavering between 4.5 and 5 stars - the food. 5 stars hands down. The ordering process and customer service... maybe 4/4.5. I'll go with a 5, because the food really was the winner here! Think of it as a Mediterranean Chipotle or Freebirds. You can choose to go with a pita wrap, s salad or a bowl. The menu is sort of self explanatory, but they definitely did not ask "Have you ever been here before?" Which by the way we were reading everything.. you would think they would then try to at least walk us through the process a little better. But we eventually got the jist of it, and went with it. They have lots of options when it comes to your choice of greens, grains, meats, sauces, toppings and dressings. And its extremely customizable. We ordered to go, you walk through the line just like Chipotle, Mod Pizza or Freebirds. Start with a bowl...got grains and greens. Arugula and Lentils. Sounds good enough. Next - sauce. You can choose up to 3, I chose 2. Eggplant Spread and Tzatziki. Protein is next! They did not mention anything about upcharges to meat for different protein, my husband was behind me, and they did mention to him, different proteins do cost extra. But you can also do 2 proteins, half portions of each, or full (I am sure this costs extra). Decided on Falafel and Roasted Veggies. Great choice! Then comes the toppings, which she did mention was unlimited, only upcharge was for avocado. There was pickles, marinated coleslaw, pickled red onions, marinated tomatoes, feta, olives so much stuff! Got a little of everything. Then dressings... and you can either get on top or on the side. There are labels in front of each section, naming off what things are, so you don't have to point and ask "what's that?" "and this?" Which was nice. The staff was super friendly, restaurant was clean. Spacious - lots of table and chairs available, but seemed as if a lot of people were getting take out. Got home - enjoyed the bowl. Holy smokes. I think the flavor of everything was excellent. So fresh tasting, and a great size portion. I think I could've definitely had leftovers, but I was ravished! So I ate it all. I am dreaming about the next bowl I am going to make and can't wait to try some new combinations of items! read more

I really enjoyed the Greek wrap. I look forward to trying more things on the menu. I really wish they had more options and maybe a larger wrap to fit things in. We went to a Mediterranean version of Chipotle in Newport News, Va and boy was it delicious. They had so much to choose from. I like this place, and had I not had another type I probably would think this was as good as it gets. Flavor wise, this place in on point and you won't be disappointed. I just got spoiled with the other one, and that can be a flaw. Beggars can't be choosers, especially when it's in a completely different state. read more

This was my first experience at Cava after a friend recommended the absolute necessity of trying out for a quick yet healthy eating choice. We were greeted by an immaculate setting with only a few dining in the restaurant as hours of operation were ending. After browsing the menu and making my choice to try the Spicy Chicken Avocado I was immediately dazzled by the manager Francesca who was extremely courteous while sharing the menu choices with me, I had mentioned that it was nice to see a bright smile and get some attentive help despite it being so near closing time, that's usually a rarity at establishments but a big notice worth mentioning! The music was great also, my friends & I couldn't keep from singing aloud while it looked like some employees shared in the joyous spirit during the final clean up of the restaurant. CAVA is my new go-to place when I need lunch or dinner. I've been describing it as a "Mediterranean Chipotle" to everyone I know and it's clear from other reviews that's the most fitting description for this place. The food is DELICIOUS! I've ordered greens & grains bowls a few times and my boyfriend has tried their Pita and we have been more than delighted. There's a great selection of options, all of which have been fresh and flavorful. I've only placed pickup orders but I've never had an issue with the portions served to me nor with them making errors on my customizations. Bonus points for their loyalty program which I plan to take full advantage of since I've quickly turned into a regular. Saw a lot of recent social media posts about how good this place was. We decided to try it. Walked in to order to go, and the process was easy. Once we got home and started eating, the meals did not disappoint. I had the make your own salad, which closely matched their curated Greek bowl on the menu. It was delicious and the garlic vinaigrette dressing really made the salad. My wife had the make your own pita and was also very happy with her meal. Would recommend this place for the great taste! Also, they have a really nice app to order. Will utilize the app next visit. read more

Like a green chipotle, So fresh and healthy. I've already made a lunch date for a second visit.

Black lentils are good . Good portions . Arugula and avocado will add some healthy options to your plate . Highly recommend

I get it, food is great and all but it's unacceptable to have 15 people in line and have 4 employees working during rush hour as you can see in the image. Employees seem unmotivated and lacking any sense of urgency. Unfortunately since there isn't much other healthy lunch options in San Antonio, I had to end up waiting 40 minutes in line during my lunch hour because of poor restaurant management. Not shaming anyone here but just an fyi since I'm sure I'm not the only customer experiencing this. read more

I love cava, but this location has a habit of hardly putting anything into the bowl, I did had one nice girl fill my bowl properly, but every other time, it's half way or less full, absolutely not worth $14.
