First time ordering from Cava and it was so Delicious! You can order from their menu or create your own bowl. The food was fresh and tasted amazing. Service was fast and friendly. The dining area was clean and had enough room to sit and enjoy your meal. They had paper bags, utensils and bowl covers readily available for leftovers. Loved and enjoyed visiting this restaurant.

Great 1st time experience at CAVA! Their menu consists of pitas and bowls with quite an array of toppings or pre-made options. The base can be rice, greens or both. I had basmati rise as my base and the "Greek chicken" bowl. My husband had the spicy chicken avocado bowl. We both tried each other's bowl and they were both so full of flavor! Definitely returning! Our server seemed a bit disgruntled/not very friendly but the cashier was great. She was kind. It was a little busy but there's plenty of se seating options inside and outside as well. Pricing is decent, parking lot gets full fast but plenty of parking.

We popped in today wanting something fresh & lighter. We thoroughly enjoyed our bowls. I got the bowl w/ date vinaigrette dressing. It was soooi good! Everything was fresh & light. My bf made his own & said it hit the spot. The pita chips are so awesome!!!!! The drinks were great too! I preferred the blueberry lavender drink over pineapple drink.

It's a gorgeous day and we had to enjoy the outdoors for dinner tonight. We decided on @cava 1604. I had brought my family here when they were visiting a few months ago. Dad and I shared a bowl - the base was half brown rice and half saffron rice, a scoop of the red pepper hummus, 2 scoops of Tsatziki, regular chicken, 2 scoops of roasted corn, a scoop of tomatoes, a scoop of chopped cucumbers and tomatoes and topped with lots of lemon herb tahini. Even with sharing, we couldn't finish it. Dad tried but didn't care for the Blueberry Lavender or the Pineapple Mint so he ended up with the Lemonade. My husband had more of the premium items like Lamb Meatballs and Braised Lamb. He couldn't finish either. I personally love the Blueberry Lavender. Their drinks are made in house...so good! Very reasonable prices and healthy food. Great combination!

I have visited a number of locations for Cava and generally have a good experience. I think it's nice that they offer suggestions of bowls you can put together but also allow you to customize your bowl/ pita like Chipotle. I love that you can customize your bowl to be as filling and healthy (or unhealthy) as you want. Every time I've gone, I always order the same thing... a build your own lamb bowl. The ingredients are always fresh and the lamb seems to always be cooked perfectly. Plus, lamb is not a protein source I often find at restaurants so it's a nice change of pace. My dad ordered the Balsamic Chicken Bowl which I tried and it was also excellent... nothing has ever been bad here! I visited this location on a weekend at 12:00PM and was surprised to see there was absolutely no line even though there was a good amount of people sitting in the restaurant. While not rude per say, the staff was not the friendliest and were very uninterested in any small talk. Even usual questions like "would you like the mini pita this comes with" weren't asked and ended up being something I had to come back and ask for. I also found it a bit odd that they had a sign that they were having supply issues with romaine lettuce and tomatoes/onions but it really didn't impact me as they still had the tomato and cucumber blend I love! Overall, this place is worth a visit and definitely a place I'll be returning to!

Cava is like a cross between Chipotle and a Mediterranean restaurant. I ordered the Harissa Avocado bowl but Cava had not avocados that day. Didn't seem to compensate for the missing key ingredient either. Food: A solid 3 out of 5. Not exceptional in any way and not objectionable except for missing key ingredients like avocado in the Harissa Avocado bowl. Service: Self-service like Chipotle Ambiance: Fast food type seating Overall cleanliness: Average

Firstly Thanks to Ireland and Anthony for such welcoming energy they both answered questions and was informative since this was mine and my son's first time here. They answered every question and explained every detail where we didn't feel rushed. The food was pretty good I would however recommend that they swap the lettuce out once it's browning. Other than that I highly recommend and will most definitely return. It was pretty clean, not too busy we got our food to go so we were in and out.

GREAT SERVICE, AMAZING FOOD, VERY CLEAN LOCATION! We went to this new location of cava, and ahhhh. What can I say? My second time ever coming to any cava, and I remember it being as great as the first. Service: 5/5 The man helping us out was amazing! So patient, and explained what would taste good, what rewards I can use, and what suggestions he would add to make my bowl even better. The first time I came to cava, (different location) they were pretty awful lol so I'm glad this one was 100x better! Food: 5/5 The food was so dang good, I licked the bowl! The grains were out of this world good. I tried some rice that wasn't rice but fills you like rice? Haha. I don't know, but it was amazing. The avocado and pita was so fresh!!!! I tried some new chicken they had, and yesssss to that dang honey chicken!! Price: 5/5 It's definitely pricy, but worth the expense. There are many things that have an additional cost, (the rice, avocado, chicken, pita) and they're all worth the extra !!!!! All in all, I cannot wait to come back. Great job, cava!!!

Amazing SALADS The best than any place I've had a salad. Lots of flavor, large bowls, so worth it! My favorite salad joint! Place your order in line. They add all the fresh choices of ingredients in front of you, check out at the of the line. Indoor and outdoor seating. A casual place for lunch or dinner. Your healthy, fun, girlie, spring, summer like feel spot.

This is one of my favorite lunch time spots! Even dinner when I'm traveling for work! I could easily eat this twice a day. It is so close to the Drury where I usually stay in Stone Oak and the food is ALWAYS fresh and fabulous! My diet has been mostly plant based as of late and this place has made it so enjoyable with their dairy free options! The Skhug dressing and Lemon herb are an absolutely delicious combo and the bowl is so filling! I also highly recommend the roasted eggplant dip and the Pita Chips! I always look forward to being so close to a Cava! when in town for work!

The line of people was out the door when I pulled up

This review is for the soft opening event October 14th. What a great way to connect to this Stone Oak & 1604 community. Turns out CAVA acquired Zoe,'s in 2018 and picked this time to make the changeover to CAVA. Lucky us. When I drove up people were waiting in a line that was out the door. Inside people were sitting and enjoying their food and each other in nicely spaced tables and booths. All the servers were masked but super friendly and taking people through how ordering at CAVA works! Dine-in or take-out, your choice. I ordered the "Harrisa Avacado Bowl". The flavor harmony and mix of textures were excellent. The Harissa Honey Chicken is fantastic... The just- right heat of the seasoning on refreshingly moist chicken sets the flavor of this bowl apart. Add in their Crazy-Feta, hummus, reg Feta, Avacado, Fire-Roasted Corn, Cucumbers, Pickled Onions, Basmati Rice, Super Greens, Hot Harrisa vinegarette... and it's one of those plates that you will think about tomorrow and crave. I'm seriously looking forward to going back after they open in a couple days and trying one of their Pita selections... If you are looking for flavor and healthy, CAVA looks like a great fit. Such a smart idea CAVA! They have a slick Loyalty app for specials and promos https://cava.com/

Our twelve guests ranged in age from 14-79 years, and everyone had a wonderful experience. We began with waters for the table, soft drinks, and cocktails/mocktails (Man Walks into a Bar, Amba No. 5, Don Alberto, Green Shug Collins). Due to our large party, we had booked a chef's tasting experience, which was spectacular. The appetizers were plentiful, flavorful, and unique. Our server, Anissa, did a wonderful job of explaining each dish-- its components, highlights, even suggesting that after finishing the beef dumplings, we stir the oil and yogurt together for an amazing pita dipping sauce. Our meal included four meats-- actually five, considering an off menu chef's creation for our pescatarian guest. It was such an immersive experience, I never took out my phone to capture photos of the food (or our group, sadly). Three desserts topped off the evening. When (not if) we return, we'll certainly request Anissa again. She made the evening a complete delight, even bringing out celebratory candles for our honored guests.

The hummus with the fresh pita was probably my favorite part of the meal, and the grilled skewers had a really nice char without being dry. The Turkish coffee was also strong and really good. Glad I tried it because the quality was amazing!

We left quite stuffed and extremely satisfied. It was a nice day so we ate outside but the interior was very pleasant and was filled with diners even at 2 pm. Everything here is fresh, perfectly seasoned, healthy and oh-so-tastey. This place was recommended to me by a fellow foodie and Yelper, and we're very grateful for the recommendation. This was the perfect birthday lunch for me.

Upon entry, my guest and I were greeted promptly and invited to sit anywhere we liked. My guest and I immediately noticed the traditional Turkish aromatics that filled the establishment. The waitress who tended to our table was engaging and explained the menu in depth as well as vouched for the food's authenticity. As my guest and I wanted to try multiple menu items, we elected to order the dishes that offered an array of food. Appetizer: Cold Platter This dish included hummus, babaganoush, dolma, ezme, and piyaz. The plater was properly "stacked" with the flavors of the app. going from "punchy" to mild. The piyaz was a perfectly balanced white bean salad packed with Mediterranean flavors. This combination of white beans, tomatoes, onions, and parsley was simple and yet deliciously satisfying! The dolma on this dish was a perfect combination of filling vegetables, grape seeds, Rumex, hornbeam, and quince leaves, with a kick of lemon. The babaganoush was light and refreshing. The simple combination of roasted eggplant, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and salt is something that is not to be missed if you are looking for a vitamin packed dip. The Ezme "mashed" was made mainly with tomatoes, cucumber, and olive oil and packed a little punch, which most likely was accredited to the peppers. Main: Hot Mixed Platter This dish included meatballs, chicken, beef, and lamb (doner) atop veggies and rice. All the meats on the plate were seasoned to perfection and tender. My guest and I ate the meats so quickly that I am not able to appropriately describe the flavors other than with the a word, "delectable". Dessert: Dessert Platter This platter had a sampling of Tiramisu, čupavci, KÜnefe, and Baklava. Although the čupavci and KÜnefe looked great, I couldn't eat them as they both are made with coconuts (to which I am allergic). I actually took a bite of the KÜnefe before I realized that it had coconut shavings in it. With this dessert, the cheese is arranged between two layers of Kadayıf (shredded phyllo), cooked until golden, and soaked in a sweet syrup. The čupavci (sponge cake) was soaked in chocolate sauce, then dipped in unsweetened, shredded coconut. Fun fact: Čupavci means "furry" because of the fuzzy surface the coconut provides, which I learned when I visited Turkey many years ago. Java Folks who read my reviews know that I am a java junkie. So, of course, I requested the Turkish coffee. Turkish coffee is prepared with more water than its Italian counterparts and is meant to be sipped rather than drunk quickly like a shot. There is also a tradition of reading the grinds at the bottom of the cup to tell fortunes, known as tasseography. Turkish coffee cups are small, similar to the size of an espresso cup, but with a rich history of their own. This coffee is prepared traditionally and provided a much needed pick me up. This family restaurant has authentic quality food and the highest level of service. If in the area, this locally owned spot is worth a try. Total for the meal before tip $89.00 #supportlocal

It doesn't feel like a strip mall restaurant. It feels intentional. The pastry case alone deserves its own review. Piped butter cookies, rose-dotted squares dusted with cardamom, delicate filled rolls -- it's the kind of display that makes you order dessert before you've even sat down. And then the food. The chicken shawarma bowl is not playing around -- seasoned chicken, kalamata olives, crumbled feta, creamy garlic sauce over a bed of greens, finished with cracked pepper. Every bite is layered and bold. The kind of meal that makes you pause mid-fork and just appreciate it. What sets Tripoli's apart isn't just the food or the ambiance. It's that the whole experience feels curated. Like someone who actually loves this culture built this place and meant every single detail. San Antonio has been sleeping on this gem. Wake up!!

The ambiance was great, everything from the decorative rugs, Arab writing on the wall, tagine pottery and brass crafts were perfectly displayed. The tabbouleh salad was very tasty, it had the right amount of ingredients making it pretty as well as colorful placed in the neat brass metal bowl. Now with the things that require immediate remedial attention: 1. The burger was overrated, overcooked and dry. 2. The chick pea salad lacked chick peas, dressing, onions and feta cheese. 3. The lamb Kofta plate was prepared right however, it was not enough meat for the price and the cream sauce tasted like straight butter with a hint of garlic. The pita bread was lukewarm and looked like it had been unwrapped, quartered and thrown in a microwave for 30 seconds prior to serving it. 4. Drinks Ordered: The Cafe' Arabia was very tasty BUT, I didn't get it until we were almost done with our meal. We ordered drinks when we were first seated so that was a big red flag. My wife also ordered the Moroccan mint teapot and she didn't get it until after I got my coffee. I told the barista/waiter to cancel it when I got my coffee but he said it was also ready for us and could put it in a to-go cup for her. That kind of defeated the whole experience of drinking tea while waiting for our meal. 5. The service was really slow. Took over 15 minutes to get our (tap) waters and 20 minutes for our food when we were the only ones in the restaurant until we had placed our order. 6. The waitress needs some serious people skills and bussing training to know how to serve food and drinks. She touched the tops of the glasses her fingers. She didn't greet us and practically dropped the plates on the table when she brought them out. To add insult to injury, she put the handheld pay device on the table without asking us if we wanted or needed anything else. My kids wanted to try out some desserts, so luckily for us, the nearby HEB has plenty to offer. I had high hopes for this place because of what the owner posted on Instagram and it is so close to our neighborhood. Guess we will have to continue driving further into the city to other Mediterranean and Middle-Eastern restaurants that have better food and service.
