Two things...fresh and affordable! I'm usually not huge on places that serve food you can make at home, especially breakfast items, easy and more affordable at home. The price is really good. The staff is super friendly! We had the Nico omelet, bean and cheese tacos, and brisket and egg tacos. 99 percent of the menu here is super healthy. Fresh ingredients and all the nutritional information for all dishes is readily available. To be completely honest, we went to another place, that hadn't opened yet, that's how we ended up here. Yes it is connected to the gym, but it does feel like its own place. About as much ambience as a hospital cafeteria, but it's built for convenience. Overall we are all satisfied, but not blown away. My omelet was STUFFED. It was almost comical. It was much appreciated! The tacos were ok. A little better than ok. The tortillas are both obviously store bought. Food was hot, fresh, tasty, and healthy!! The employees were friendly and welcoming. For the price and the quality of the food, I think it's very reasonable. This location is inside of the Gold's Gym. I felt a little odd being inside the gym's restaurant. They have outdoor seating but it was raining and we opted to sit inside furthest away from the Gold's Gym entrance. I had the Breakfast Quesadilla was delicious. Love that this cafe is connected to the gym! It is very convenient to having a refreshing smoothie, salad, tacos or breakfast plate after a rigorous workout. They have so many choices on the menu!!! The staff, Blanca, Kevin and Jocelyn, are especially helpful and welcoming and they care about everyone. I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at this location. I found a toothpick hidden inside my burrito, which could have seriously injured me had I taken a bigger bite. When I brought it to the cashier's attention, she gave me a blank stare and casually said it was "part of the burrito." I've eaten this same burrito at other locations many times and have never encountered a toothpick in it. What's more concerning is the lack of care or urgency from the staff. I had to insist that they let the cooks know, because this isn't just a mistake,it's a dangerous one. I'm sharing this review not out of anger, but in hopes that management takes food safety more seriously moving forward. read more

The tacos are almost mini burritos for the size they are. Each taco has a individual egg plus the ingredients. If you get beans/ refried beans, they load it up 50/50 so it's the perfect mix. I have never regretted my purchases here. It's a combination of great flavor and healthy ingredients that is quite hard to find in town. I have tried most of the smoothies here and all have been delicious. My favorite dish is the huevos ranchero with avocado. This late breakfast left me feeling just right after my work out. This place is a huge hard pass. Their tea is $3.25 (which is beyond ridiculous) and their food is average. Tea should never be over $2 at most. Prices are on the very high side for what you get. If you get the pasta, it doesn't even come with salad. Salad is over $5. GTFO. I can go to any Italian restaurant and get pasta WITH salad and everything cheaper than here. I've literally liked everything that I have tried. Just keep in mind that the food is on the healthy side. So don't expect greasy refried beans and cheese tacos.
