Panera at its best. It's been awhile since I've truly enjoyed Panera, but I stopped in for an early dinner on Christmas Eve with my fiancé anyways and truly enjoyed the meal we shared there. It was a slow afternoon so the place was very clean, it was nice and quiet, and our piping hot meal came out quickly after ordering at the kiosk. My fiancé ordered the Spicy Chicken Ciabatta Dipper which was even tastier than it sounded. He normally isn't a fan of ciabatta as a whole but this sandwich was an exception. The grilled chicken was tender and plentiful, the salsa verde spread paired well with the provolone, and the creamy tomato dipping sauce itself was so delicious he ate the remaining sauce like a soup. I ordered the You Pick Two with a Cup of Broccoli Cheddar Soup and Half Turkey and Cheddar Sandwich. The Broccoli Cheddar Soup was thick and creamy while the Sandwich was hearty itself. The veggies were crisp and fresh, they didn't skimp on the turkey or cheese, the garlic aioli drizzle added an excellent zest, and the sourdough bread was absolutely delicious. My Baguette side was also super yummy when dipped in the Soup, and the Blueberry Lavender Lemonade was the perfect balance of sweet to tart. It was a truly satisfying and filling meal. I'm happy that this Panera experience was such a good one. My experiences with other locations haven't been the best as of late, and this one definitely showed them up. An easy 5 stars. read more

YIKES!!! This location has horrible customer service, what appears to be a horrible work culture and from my interactions with the staff...horrible people working there. I get it! You're at work and very few people like to be at work. But...we all need jobs and we get to choose how we treat strangers. I interacted with four separate workers and they were all bad. Let's just unpack the highlights from my visit: The girl taking my wife's order rolled her eyes and sighed when my wife decided to change the cup of soup she wanted. Sorry lady!! People change their minds sometimes at the last minute and it's ok. You just need to hit a couple extra buttons. Same girl then asked my wife if her purse was real. She apparently didn't like that it was in fact a real item from this brand. Just a piece of friendly life advice. If you were jealous of my wife's bag and think you should have one for yourself, you're going to need to drastically change your attitude of you will NEVER find a husband to buy you one. I would never comment on yours or any other woman's physical appearance because it's petty, rude and doesn't bring anything to my criticism of your attitude...so I will leave that one alone. Next employee! When a 12yr old little girl walks up to the counter and very politely says: "excuse me ma'am.....", don't be rude. If she wasn't speaking loud enough for you, just kindly explain that you're having trouble hearing her and she will speak a bit louder. Please don't say in an annoyed voice, "I can't hear you. If you want something you need to use your voice better so I can hear you". My daughter is the sweetest and cutest thing on the planet so when we were walking away and commenting on your behavior my daughter said: "maybe I misgendered her and that's why she was so rude". My daughter is 12 and extremely polite who always addresses adults with either "sir" or "ma'am". If in fact my daughter did misgender you, I thank you for not trying to explain it to her because she would have absolutely giggled and walked away from you without getting her cookie. I then got to see and hear two employees speaking horribly about how their co-worker cannot do anything correctly. That employee was standing roughly 15-20 feet away and could for sure hear what the other two were saying. I felt very bad for her because she had a look on her face that said, "my dad couldn't buy me what I wanted for Christmas because he drinks and gambles too much". She just looked defeated. Lastly, your men's bathroom! I have literally responded to violent crime scenes that were cleaner and in better order than that bathroom. I truly hate giving "1-star" ratings. I am not the type of person that tanks a review over something piffle. It takes a lot and the restaurant has to check many boxes to get this low of a rating from me. So congratulations!! Y'all did it! I didn't complain about the food because that issue was pretty low on the list. I don't like your food but my wife and daughter enjoy your soups/salads...so we came to this location. None of our feelings are hurt and we don't need to speak to a manager because I'm pretty sure you don't have one. If anything, this was a great learning experience for my daughter because it shows her what type of woman she does NOT want to be when she grows up. Thanks for the teachable moments for her and the many laughs we had about you ladies and your location on our way home. My last thought is that if all of you, and I mean ALL of you are actually this bad...it's gotta be an owner issue. He isn't doing anything to set you up for success or maintain a positive work culture. This location doesn't have a good rating (I guess I should've checked before I walked in, but who actually checks reviews for a fancy Subway?) and I am definitely not the first person to write about how rude everyone is and how the customer service is so bad. I forgot how pricey the food can be at Panera Bread. I love the idea of their unlimited drinks deal they offer for a monthly price. The autumn soup is delicious! Thank you for fixing my order! It's a shame that DoorDash has a credit policy when an item is missing and unfortunately paying taxes again and having to tip again is not ideal. Nothing disappointing about this location. Friendly employees, clean restaurant, and major teamwork is what I saw. The food was great. We accidentally sat at a table that was reserved for social distancing, as my dad isn't very keen on those things and didn't read the sticker. Something got placed on it and I didn't notice until we got up to clean the table off and leave and I went and apologized to the young lady at the counter to let her know we hadn't done it on purpose and she just said, "we know and it's not a big deal as y'all were only one of about 3 tables at the time and this is our slow time. We didn't want to make a big deal about it and wanted y'all to just enjoy your meal". My heart melted right there into a puddle on the floor. I would have happily found another table if they would have brought it to our attention, but I guess they figured it's best to extend kindness than make a point. (Little did they know, we were celebrating my beautiful baby granddaughter being released from the burn unit and allowed to come home. My parents and my own kiddos, hadn't seen her in almost 2 weeks, so I think my dad was just preoccupied. But in an emotional time such as that, kindness means everything). I will forever be going to this location... no doubt. Once, it was at 8:15 pm. They close at 9. But, it should have been there. The staff is laidback. Good! I appreciate that they don't need to shout out a welcome. Pretty sad to see another business fall victim to laziness and carelessness in their cleaning standards. Found bugs in bathroom, dirty floor throughout, drink machines looked unsanitary. There are only a few customers in the restaurant, where the workers actually out number the customers, any one of them could be better engaged by cleaning the place up.. I see the issue, when I walk in and notice of the 7 people standing around on the phones, one is the manager. Can't really enforce anything if you're part of the problem. I've been so disappointed with Panera these days. Their portions have shrunk while prices have gone WAY up. I've been going to Panera for 20 years. It was our favorite place for soups, sandwiches and salads back in Illinois and here as well, when we moved to TX. It was yummy, fresh and affordable. No more. Attached is a photo from my recent lunch. The 1/2 bbq chicken flatbread was so tiny, had very little filling and was bland. The 1/2 Greek salad was fresh but very small. I also had a soda... My meal was $12.95! Yikes! I consider it close to fast food since you order at a counter. That's crazy considering I can have lunch at Olive Garden or BJ's for less (and be waited on). :( read more

Really good place. Has a very nice, calm, and relaxing atmosphere to it. The employees are very nice and helpful, there's plenty of space there, it's very quiet there (which is a good thing), and the food is very good. The sandwiches are very good, so are the chips that you can choose from for the side, along the different types of Macaroni and Cheese (particularly, the Baja Mac and Cheese) and baguettes you can get with them if you'd like, and so are the desserts (such as their bagels, brownies, cookies, etc.). My favorite thing to get there is either the Toasted Steak and White Cheddar sandwich or the Baja Mac and Cheese with a baguette. Both are great and will satisfy you/fill you up. I give this place a solid 5/5 stars rating. It is a very good and relaxing place, it has all around great employees, great customer service, and (not to mention) great food. I would highly, highly recommend this place. You will NOT be disappointed. read more

The worst customer service! Had 4 souffles in my hand, was getting ready to pay and they told me I couldn't have them!! WHAT!! I'm so angry. Apparently you have to order online for a rapid order to get your food. Never mind the that the souffles were in the window for me to choose from. I want to touch on the smoothies for a second...these Panera people are the only ones I have seen smart enough to make a man-sized straw for their smoothies! No longer will you have clogged straws at this place. I was so pleased by this, I took a picture, but didn't think to hold anything by the straw as a size reference...bottom line, it's gooooood. Sandwiches are excellent...I'm a sucker for the Ham & Swiss, price is pretty good to boot. $10.50 landed me a strawberry smoothie, Ham and Swiss sandwich, chips and a pickle. Just enough to leave me satisfied without feeling like I'm going to burst. Just had lunch at Panera's today!! 2/7/19 I always get the tuna salad sandwich on whole wheat and it is always delicious!!! Today I tried the BLT. It was bacon, tomatoes, and grilled cheese!!! I did not like it. It was flavorless, the tomatoes were out of a can and they made the sandwich mushy!! The bread was a large,grainy, tasteless sandwich!! The worst service ever, I have come to Panera Bread in the vineyard for months, and the service rep stated I couldn't order 6-items from the pastry area as they will run out of their Pastries and not enough for other customers. She said that since I was ordering more than 6 pasteurized, this has to be placed as a catering order. Stopped in after Church today to pick up food to go. Very friendly staff. I had never had their turkey chili before and the cashier let me taste a sample before we purchased it. It was very good. Ordered their chicken salad sandwich Turkey chili Broccoli and cheese soup Salad and a blue berry scone. The chicken salad sandwich was a good portion, my husband and I split the sandwich and soup. We saved the turkey chili and salad for later. The food tasted fresh and very tasty. The last time I ate at Panera bread was in Fairfax, VA and I do not remember it being as good as the one here in SA. I definitely recommend it. The service is fast and friendly. This is a great location. I went on a saturday evening and there was NO ONE in line. It was great to be able to breeze in with no issues and put in an order and sit down and eat.
