Finally a Cava near me !!! Being waiting, as always the food is good, at this plantation store they are busy but moving along, food is fresh, good and I love it. The restaurant is nice and clean and the employees very helpful. Even the manager I believe her name is Heather was very helpful and insightful with several questions I had, she was knowledgeable. I definitely recommend stopping by and having a piece of Mediterranean cuisine you didn't know you needed. free parking, kid friendly, wheelchair accessible and amazing food what more do you want? read more

They served me raw lamb-disgusting. Multiple pieces of it were under cooked. Unfortunately it was a to go order so wasn't able to go back to complain. But I will not be returning because this lack of care in handle food does not deserve a return to this location. Store is very busy and always out of stuff. Either they rushing sending out food under cooked or something is not available. read more

DON'T order unless you want your food in literally two hours .. and that's ordering ahead!!!!!! the food is good BUT during 12 noon to 2pm.... just go to Burger King or order two hours ahead. Few staff to handle a heavy load of customers, orders get mixed up, NO ONE ACCOUNTABLE for long lines, long wait times.. just go somewhere else!!!!!!!! read more

Great customer service from Lee. Very nice in such a busy environment.....everybody deserves a raise lol read more

CAVA - Mediterranean Near Me - Plantation, Florida

I waited about 30 minutes on a Thursday evening. When I arrived the line was to the door but was moving along. I wasn't sure how to order but the employees were friendly and they had signs to guide you through ordering your bowl. The food was very good but they were out of feta and corn. I would have liked those choices but the bowl was still tasty. I will definitely be back for more. read more

Guys I love Cava but this Cava is poorly managed. Here are so tips you need to have 4 people running the line. It is insane that I have come here multiple times and you have 2-3 people running the line. Sorry but the employees do not work with a sense of urgency therefore it creates a line. I have NEVER come here and the line isn't to the door. First person needs to be for rice/ salad & dips , second for protein, third for toppings, & 4th for ringing people up. It's not a hard concept to move more effectively. And please management tell your girls to move with a sense of urgency!!!! Other than this, love the food ! read more

This place is always packed because it's so good! They treat you good here. Love eating at Cava. It's worth trying if you have never had it. Just come during off hours because it's popping! read more

Great food and friendly service. Lulu & staff were so nice even with the packed crowd. Kiana and the crew were all smiles. So nice to see. My first time in and will definitely come back. read more

Tried for the first time and was satisfied. Food was fresh and very tasty. If it wasn't so far away from our house I would probably frequent it more often read more

They are so understaffed it takes forever to wait in line and if you put in an online order it won't be ready until 15-20 minutes after the designated pick up time. Not the staff's fault, they need better management. read more

The food is as good as fast food will ever get without a shadow of a doubt. But the wait time for service and pickup is horrendous. I don't understand how chipotle which is right next door can have the same line stretched to the door but takes only 10-15 mins to get your food. You will wait anywhere between 30-45 mins for your food. One look over the counter shows they have enough workers but the ethics and attitudes are trash. They literally have the look of hate and misery on their faces and you think that's going to be conducive to great service??? There is no coercion to this madness behind the counter no where withal to speed up. I mean zombies move faster than this. General Managers need to descend upon this location because of its poor service will be the death of this place. read more

Everything here is fantastic!!!! I am addicted to this food!! Im picky about spending any money on food if it's not worth it!! It's healthy but you wouldn't even realize how healthy because it's so good!!!! Fills you up all day and all you want is more!! The staff is amazing and I would eat here everyday if I could!!! Check this place out!!! read more

The food was fresh and delicious; the service was quick, easy, and personable; and the ambiance was a total vibe. Tania built our bowls, Brian rang us up at the register, and Manager (Zack) is running a tight ship at this location. Big shout-out to Tania for being so great. 10/10, will be back again! read more

I went to the new store in Delray near Trader Joe's. The store is beautiful and although very busy, my time in line and picking out items for 3 bowls went quickly. Alana and Gina were especially helpful making sure all the veggies and sauces got in the right bowls. I will be back very soon! Great job, girls! read more

There needs to be an effective manager onsite to direct employees when there is a busy hour. The stations to people are unproportionate. I waited in line for 30 minutes because to many bowls were lined up waiting to put on there toppings. I do not want to speak for all employees but there needs to be an effective manger to shift responsibilities. Near the en there was a skinner girl with a blue bandana that stepped up and took matter into her own hands. read more

Didn't take long for this location to go downhill. I'm a big fan of CAVA and was excited that they opened a location in plantation. Ordered pick up this evening and when I opened the lid on my bowl, a moth flew out!!!!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!! Well needless to say I am no longer a supporter of this fast food establishment. Obviously, there is no quality control. sad!!!! read more

Loved the healthy bowls. Excellent service. Clean ambience. Would recommend 5/5. Lee was amazing.

I ordered pickup. My bowl was missing nearly half the ingredients I requested. No sauces, only one topping. It tasted like expensive rabbit food. Would not recommend and will not be returning, the employees did not even tell me they were out of said ingredients to try and rectify. I just left with a tasteless bowl and I was so excited to try it. Super disappointed read more

CAVA - Build your own (missing nearly every topping) - Mediterranean Near Me - Plantation, Florida

Fool me once. I will definitely not be spending my money here again. Hands down the most disappointing fast-casual experience I've had in years. Holy harissa, what a disaster. I used to frequent Cava when I lived in the D.C. area, and I was excited when the new Plantation location opened nearby. I figured I'd grab some dinner tonight. I don't have enough words in my lexicon to fully capture just how horrible this experience was. I walked in. There was a short line--only three people ahead of me. "Not too bad," I thought. Don't be misled like I was. Please. I could've had a full sit-down meal at an actual restaurant in the time it took to make it to the front of the line. At one point, I genuinely started wondering if I was being pranked. Like, was I on Impractical Jokers? There's just no way anyone moves that slow on purpose. When I finally got to the counter, I ordered my base and main--so far, so good. Then we got to the toppings. I noticed the crumbled feta tray was nearly empty, just a few bits left. I asked for some anyway. Everything at Cava is better with feta, right? Apparently not at this Cava. The employee looks at the tray, then at me, completely blank. "We don't have any," she says. "You're out of feta?" "Yeah." Dry as sandpaper. "There's no way you're out. They just need to bring more from the back. I'll wait--it's fine." The two people behind me in line also asked for feta. So now we're all standing at the cashier, just... waiting. You'd think they'd want to move the line along. Nope. We just stood there, waiting for the feta like it was being flown in from Greece. That's the only logical explanation for the absurd delay. Meanwhile, the line is now out the door. Earlier, I'd asked for the hot harissa pita chips and got yet another blank stare. No one told me what the wait would be. And--surprise! (but is it really?)--I left without feta and without the harissa chips. Still, I was hopeful. I got to my car, ready to eat, despite the horrendous service. But the food wasn't even warm. It was room temperature at best. And stale. Clearly, it had been sitting there a while. Bottom line: Don't be fooled by the long line at Cava Plantation. It's not a sign of great food--it's a sign of terrible operations. Whoever is running this location has no idea how to run a restaurant. If they don't get it together, this place will be just another South Florida fast-casual casualty. TL;DR: Service is abysmal. They refuse to restock basic items like feta. The food was cold, stale, and not worth the wait. Lines are long only because they're excruciatingly slow. If you're going to spend nearly $20 on a plate, the least you should expect is a hot, fresh meal. Pollo Tropical is right down the road. read more

We visited this location after the worse experience in the Hialeah location. The wait was long as expected for a new restaurant , yet the food was to our liking. The employees were great and we will visit this location again. We will take the trip to this location, 40 miles away. read more

Based on my experience visiting this place three times, the customer service for advance orders is consistently poor. Even when ordering ahead, you can expect to wait an additional 30 minutes or more past your scheduled pickup time. The food presentation is disappointing -- it's just thrown together in a bowl and looks nothing like the pictures. Additionally, the bathroom is filthy, which is unacceptable, especially for a new establishment with plenty of staff. Even during busy times, management needs to find a better system to keep things organized and maintain basic cleanliness and service standards. read more

I loved Brooke and i love cava. Brooke made my experience so much better ! And her smile lite up the environment! The food is also so great.

Food was good and service was good. Waited in line and ordered my own bowl. The experience was as expected for a place that only opened a few weeks ago but felt the employees were doing the best they could with what looked like a line that never ended. Heather assisted with picking the right dressing with the combination of toppings I chose. I got harissa chicken, hummus, crazy feta, corn, pickles, tomatoes, cucumbers, pickled onions and feta with pita crisps on top. Food tasted great and the Tahini Caesar dressing just made it pop! Seating is plenty even with the long lines, alot of people take it to go but they do have indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of options to choose from. Will be back to try a different combination of their selections read more

Your delivery skills are a shame. The food is good, but the employees at this location are either (1) too lazy (2) are not properly trained (3) don't know how to read. I placed an order for 4 people and CAVA didn't include the free pitas, didn't send any of the dressings, didn't pack our sideof pita chips and also missed the drink from the kids menu. I checked the order's ticket and all of these items were there... but somehow just completely omitted by the employees read more

First time went well staff was welcoming and helpful, the food was amazing. I definitely would recommend trying it out, I will be back!

I love cava. I have been eating cava for many years outside of Florida and was so excited when they opened a location here is south Florida. This review is about the service. The people working there are clueless and as slow as it can be. Waited over 30 min when only 10 people were in front of me. They need to send them to different locations to get trained. read more

I was honestly wowed by my experience today, and I just had to share it! I'm actually a CAVA stockholder, so I'm proud to see the brand growing, especially right here in Plantation. I work down the street from this location and have visited several times (usually Tuesday through Thursday for lunch), but I'll be honest my past visits weren't great. The service always felt chaotic, and the team members didn't seem very friendly or welcoming. When I tried to share feedback with a manager, she just looked confused, adjusted her glasses, and walked off. After that, I decided I wouldn't come back. But my wife convinced me to give them one more try this Saturday around 12:30 p.m., and wow what a difference! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with a warm "Welcome to CAVA!" The line moved quickly, and the ladies behind the line were friendly, helpful, and even made great suggestions for our bowls. I looked at my wife and said, "Is this the same CAVA I said I wasn't coming back to?" The energy and vibe were completely different! When we got to the register, we were helped by Lee, who was so kind and attentive. She made sure our pita chips were hot and fresh, and she thanked us sincerely ,even inviting us to come back again. (No one had ever done that before!) While we were outside enjoying our food, another employee came around checking on guests, asking how everyone's meal and experience were. When she got to our table, she said, "I hope your food and your experience were amazing today," and that personal touch sealed it for us. So I want to give a huge shoutout to Ms. Kira and her team for turning this location around and delivering such an amazing experience. The service, food, and energy were top-tier today we'll definitely be back! read more

Amazing service by Gabi, she was super sweet and patient when explaining the menu. 5/5

This place has my favorite food ever. They offer a large variety of options and I have never been to a bad location. If you love a flavorful bowl you have to try. I was served by baley and he was super helpful and had the best customer service! read more

Haven't had Cava until recently. Fresh, hearty, and healthy options. Service a bit slow, but mostly friendly. House made beverages are delicious. read more

Service is horrible. 42 minutes to order. Owners. Not that hard. A simple line. Take a field trip to Chick-fil-A

Great food! Great service by Le! Will come again. It was fast service. Very helpful and friendly staff

I understand it just opened, but they should not be taking online orders if they can't fulfill them in a timely manner. Placed order at 7:05 gave me a pick up option of 7:15 or 7:30 . I picked 7:30 and my food was not ready til 8:00. Service was horrible read more

The food is good but the line is always a mess. They really should have more staff to service a very booming business. The staff looks tired and overwhelmed every time I come in. There is a to go line but it was also very long and it gave me a 15 minute pick up window to order while I was in the restaurant. There is no way, based on the people waiting that I would get my to go food in 15 minutes. Please beef up your staff during peak times. read more

The food was really good, the problem was I waited exactly one hour. I had a lot of time to observe the employees and I see that they are the reason why it took so long . The first girl was just there and not asking the customer what they wanted. She was instead moving a salad bowl to behind her and just standing there when so many people just wanted to put in there orders. Others were having conversations with people they know in the line completely ignoring the next guest. They also didn't have anymore corn or pickles . I believe management needs some more skills. Just my opinion. read more

Today is June 23, 2025 around 8:30pm I visited Cava for the first time. I was expecting a little more welcoming atmosphere from everyone but the environment felt very hostile. The food itself was not bad whatsoever but the customer service? please. It was terrible. I felt stupid trying to order from somewhere I have never been. The woman who was on the protein part of the station gave me attitude when she told me there was no Harissa Honey Chicken. She was very rude and when I started talking to the man on the topping station she was budding into the conversation with a grimace look on her face. I want the best for everyone there but to just learn a little customer service. Thank you. read more
