I was able to make it to the opening of the Cava location in Plantation. Since it is opening week, pack your patience lol; the line was wrapped around the building. It took an hour and half to get through the long line. However the staff in Cava were very helpful, kind, and friendly trying to move the line as quickly as possible. They even gave us water to help beat the heat outside. The place has a lively bright ambiance with great music playing. The food was fresh, hot, and nice portion sizes. My favorite is the greens and grains bowl with grilled chicken, red pepper hummus, olives, cucumbers, tomatoes, pickled onions, and their crispy pita chips. I'm so happy Cava is now in Broward county and I will be back. read more

Have been waiting for this place to open up!! When we got there the line was not too bad but moved pretty quick! The bowel was amazing you got one base and one protein, but you could do half and half if you wanted ! And unlimited topping!! I got the honey harissa chicken and it was the perfect spicy and sweet! I got also got a side of the pita chips which were delicious the perfect brunch factor to the meal, however, it was a little salty. I would definitely come back! read more

Just opened and it was packed. This is set up like a bolay or fresh kitchen. With a few differences. The taste is really good and it offered unlimited toppings and bigger portions.. So I had the Harris's Avacado bowl and since I waited in line I picked up another bowl of the falafel crunch to bring home. Each game with a pita which was outstanding. read more

I am so glad CAVA has finally arrived in Broward! I have been tracking this opening for literally months so I was so glad I could make the grand opening! The line was hugeeeeeee! I waited 55minutes in total from waiting until checkout! I want to caveat that I expected it to be bad on opening, so I will give it the benefit of the doubt but if it's like that again I will definitely lower the rating based on the long wait times. For the food it was excellent! I ordered a chicken bowl, with basmati rice and super greens. It comes with a complimentary pita on the side, three dips which I did two hummus dips and one tzatziki sauce. The. For toppings I did feta, tomatoes, pickles, pita crisps, pickled onions, and cucumbers. The bowl was large filling and delicious! I also ordered a side of crisp pita chips which are crunchy and flavorful. And I got a great dipping sauce with the bowl to use them with. I definitely cannot wait to go back numerous times in the future. Hopefully the waits will die down a little bit, if anything it will show why more CAVAs need to open in Broward in the future! read more

Excellent service, great crew, love the grub!!! Great, great, great, great, great food!!!

I love Cava, but every time I order from this location, whether through Uber Eats or for pickup, something is missing. They rarely include the sauces I specifically request on the side. I've already submitted feedback directly to the store about this issue, but after ordering again through Uber Eats, all of my meals arrived without the sauces once again. Consistent order accuracy really needs to be improved at this location. read more

Walked in and Walked out I know when my time is being wasted stood in line for 10 min and it didn't move, and at one point there was not one worker at a station all the comments about being slow and having a sense of urgency is entirely true! Btw this is the only cava that I've went to that the line isn't moving or out the door read more

Today was my fourth visit to Cava, so I think I finally have enough experience to share an honest review. I really love the concept -- the customizable Mediterranean bowls are a great idea -- but the execution definitely needs work. This location is still fairly new, yet it already feels a bit neglected. Every time I visit, the trash bins are overflowing, and the line moves painfully slow. Portion sizes are inconsistent from one visit to the next, and the employees always look unhappy or overwhelmed. Tonight, the greens looked brown and soggy, so I opted for rice instead, which was fine. I had the steak, but it was chewy and tough. The toppings were decent, but everything just looked messy and unkempt. I understand they're busy, but cleanliness really needs to be a bigger priority. We also ordered pita chips tonight, and for the first time, they were so heavily seasoned with salt and pepper that they were inedible. Overall, I'm going to give this Cava a break for a while and hope they can get things back on track -- because the idea is great, but the current experience just doesn't live up to it read more

Waiting lines are ridiculous. Even if you order for pickup, you will have to wait, a lot

I had originally rated this place 3 stars but Tanya has made it go up to 5 stars. She always receives you with a smile and is easy to talk to/order with. She is a great employee and stands out due to her charisma, customer service skills, and kindness. read more

Spicy lamb avocado salad is delicious. So far love Cava, fresh, flavorful, good serving size, polite staff.

You Can improve by making the salad as in the picture! Not serving rotten avacado on the salad. Place dressing in the bag when they ask for it on the side. This is why I usually don't do pick up orders! read more

After waiting about 15-20 mins; I got served. That was fine by me bc I got to dive in the menu. There was Definitely service with a smile, each person on the line was super nice. I liked how you have many proteins to choose from. The lentils were okay but I would not get again. I tried the braised lamb and honey chicken, both very tasty. It was freezing inside so we just ate take out. The spicy chips were good but the plain were heavily salty. Overall I would be back if I'm in the area but I'm not going out of my way for it. read more

Super good Mediterranean food. Maybe not the most authentic (I could be wrong) but it's very tasty. Only gripe is that the line is always long so order ahead. Also when I order 2 proteins they gave me 3 pieces of lamb meatballs but I paid extra $4 for it. read more

Have never left a review, but the service here was so slow. Walked in on a Wednesday at 4 pm?! and the line is like 10 people. five people are standing in the back twiddling their thumbs. One guy on the line taking someone's order scooped two things in the ten minutes I was there and continued talking to the customer he must have known. Someone finally came up to take the next order. She took the longest time to put on a pair of clear gloves to scoop food that I have ever witnessed in my life. Then walked away ??? Honestly, I just left. This would've taken me an hour to get my food at this point read more

The POTENTIAL is amazing and I'm sure that when this place first opened, it was hitting all the marks. This is my very first time going to a CAVA since I don't have one near me. Just happened to be in the area and came across the place on my route back home. I've heard about it and I finally get to ease my curiosity. When I walked in there were quite a few people in line which I thought was a good sign. As I stood to the side to review the menu, there was a female employee in the main dining area shouting to another employee that was in the back cooking area..."BRUH!! BRUH!!" I suppose she was yelling to get his attention but he was busy so she kept shouting. I entered the line finally and a young woman promptly came up to prepare my order. She may have been new because she was using a little cheat card to make my Falafel Bowl. I was asking questions about a few items and she wasn't sure about the answer so she turned to a tall man in the cooking area and asked. He looked angrily at her and snapped, "READ THE CARD ON THE GLASS!" And then went right back to what he was doing. She didn't miss a beat though. She was sweet, polite and did her best to help me. She was new staff and I was a new customer and we got through it, both learning a bit in the process. No complaints there! I wish I'd gotten her name because she was the ONLY shining light in the entire place. After paying I went to my car to eat. First thing I noticed on first bite was there was something very hard in my bowl and there was a lot of it. Upon closer inspection, I realized it was the basmati rice. The grains were hard as a rock. Now that either happens when rice sits too long OR when it's nearly raw. I believe it had been there too long. So that rock hard rice set the tone for the rest of the meal because how can I avoid the rice? Also, the greens were no longer green. My lettuce appeared brown around the edges and didn't look appealing at all. Must say, my experience at CAVA was not great. It wasn't even good!!!! The less than fresh food, the unhappy and loud staff and the fact that I arrived on a Saturday at 2:45pm and most of the serving dishes were empty, left a bad impression. Line servers were scraping the containers dry, preparing bowls and no one was turning to say cooking staff "I need hummus...I need harissa!" It honestly looked like the line staff was afraid to communicate with the cooks but I'm speculating based off the way the tall guy barked at the young lady for asking him a question. I don't know if it was just a bad day for them but no thanks! I truly had higher hopes for this place after all the social media videos I'd seen but I was not impressed! read more

Each experience was either with young and unfriendly team members or Cava running out of ingredients in the middle of the day with no urgency to restock or bring out a new batch of food. Today at 4:30pm this location was all out of broccoli with none in the fridge to replace it. Well today my bowl turned out not so tasty bc the grilled chicken tasted burnt & there was no broccoli left. I asked if they could check for more in the fridge or let me know when the next batch would be up. Not only was the black older woman (middle age black woman with twist and glasses) who served me on toppings, angry that she had to step 7 feet to her right to check the fridge? She then passive aggressively slid my bowl to another staff (young Hispanic female twin with braces & honey blonde highlights ) who was helping someone else, to swap spots with her so she wouldn't have to service me any longer. Me simply asking her to do her job pissed her off. This isn't the first time I've experienced stuff at this particular location get upset by customers being indecisive or simply having questions while ordering their food. To be fair, the staff at this location can go through additional Training in customer service because only a handful of staff actually perform well in customer service area at this location. Previously another staff was upset because I wanted Pita Chips that would take 2 minutes to come up out of the fryer; if I'm willing to wait why is that a problem? Why are staff so angry to serve people!?? Is disgusting. This Cava needs to hire friendly new staff or take this staff through proper customer service training, as this location lacks that. Sadly the best workers were the young Hispanic female workers, and the friendly staff are usually the gay males who work here, in my experience. Sadly the black female workers (both young and old) are rude, unfriendly and just don't want to work (which is crazy bc no one forced them to apply for a customer service job). Sad to witness my people read more

I have been addicted to cava for a while now and decided to drop in today to get a pita. They had someone new helping me and he was very kind and willing to learn, when it was time to wrap the pita he had a little trouble but his coworker tribecca was quick to come and help him, she was super sweet and ended up being the one to check us out, before doing so she made sure I had everything I needed and when we went to pay she said it was on her since he was new, definitely wasn't expecting that and my day was made. Thank you!! read more

Wow! They didn't waste any time. They just opened and I live nearby, so I stopped in to take a look. The line was long and the place was packed! At 3 pm on a Saturday. Not the usual lunch time. I thought, what the heck! Are they giving away the food? No. It's very clean and new, with a gimmick, like an upscale salad bar... you pick, and they put a bowl together for you, cafeteria-style. The prices looked ok. About $15 which is the pricing at a food truck we saw last night. I'd rather eat here! I don't know if the food is good, but judging by the demand, it must be. The outside patio is nice, and very clean because it's so new. But of course you will be breathing in car exhausts from the parking lot, which was buzzing... hard to get a spot. Thankfully I can walk from my house. But not in this heat! I will return mid-week and see if the line is shorter! But if you like good authentic Mediterranean or Middle Eastern food, without the long lines, you have plenty of choices right across the street at both of the other shopping plazas. Enjoy! read more

Young lady barely acknowledged me, kept skipping over my bowl and asking customers in front and behind me what they wanted in their bowl. I will never recommend or come to this location again. read more

I would give 0 stars if I could. We went in around 8:30, and it took us about 25 minutes in line. Right as we got to the front to order, an employee told us they were out of any chicken... super frustrating as we had already been waiting that long. Employees moving at absolutely glacial pace like I've never seen before. While in line they are out of arugula, out of multiple dressings, out of pita, out of lids for the bowls. It was truly just the most poorly run operation I have ever witnessed. This was our first time trying cava and we were so excited, but unfortunately it didn't work out very well. The food probably would have been good if it wasn't ice cold as it was sitting on the line in bowls forever, and if the falafel wasn't completely raw inside. We went outside and sit down and were greeted with a literal tower of garbage. There was an employee getting off break who literally just added her garbage to the pile rather than doing something about it. I never write reviews, but this was so horrible it felt right. read more

I had a horribly frustrating experience picking up a mobile order at the Plantation Pointe CAVA. My order took 27 minutes to be ready, even though I arrived at the pickup time. Around 9:30 PM (the time my food was scheduled to be ready), an employee named Tyler who was standing in line, told customers behind him the line was closed, causing some people to leave, but the line kept moving. Tyler even left the line to call out his own order and was served, then resumed telling customers the store was closed, even to those just picking up orders. When I finally got my food, I was given pita bread instead of the pita chips I paid for, and this was only mentioned after I asked. My bowl was missing two toppings and a dip with no warning, and what I did get was skimpy. My bowl was half empty. On top of that, I watched employees, some apparently still on the clock and some leaving, make themselves full, generously filled meals while my order was incomplete. Overall, it felt like the staff prioritized their own convenience over customers, and the lack of communication about missing or substituted items was really disappointing. I'm hoping CAVA addresses this but until then, I absolutely won't be returning anytime soon. read more

CAVA: Where Time Promises Go to Die (Online Edition) Ordering online at CAVA used to feel like a life hack. Now? It's more like joining a support group in the lobby. The app told us our food would be ready at a specific time, but we--the hopeful, the hungry, the betrayed--stood shoulder to shoulder in silence, bonding over our shared disappointment. You can always tell the online order folks from the walk-ins--we're the ones with dead eyes and melting patience, watching as the minutes tick by past our pick-up time. And when your name finally gets called? Don't celebrate too early. Odds are your bowl is missing something crucial, like protein... or a lid. Accuracy is now a gamble, and everyone's losing. The drink station? Don't get your hopes up. No ice. No blueberry lavender. Just the faint scent of what could've been. It's the hydration equivalent of a mirage in a desert. Now, to be fair: the food still slaps. But the chaos of the pick-up process has officially crossed into theatrical tragedy. CAVA, please--your bowls deserve better. And so do we. read more

Tanya is great. she keeps the line moving and is good with the customers! keep up the good work.

Me and my family arrived around 9pm and they already started closing even though there was a line of 25 people. There were so many workers just standing there and cleaning but not serving customers. It took them almost an hour to serve us and the whole time they were complaining of there being so many people. Horrible service and the food was just scraps left over because they refused to make more, even though they close at 10:30pm. read more

I want to start off by saying, my experience here at cava was exceptional. I went around 8:00PM eager to try a new place. The atmosphere and environment seemed rushed/unwelcoming and the workers looked like they can't work under pressure. The woman on the Meat bar was very rude and gave such an unexpected attitude. It wasn't my fault that you guys didn't have chicken and certain sauces/toppings?? The person on register was seemed irritated and lost when i interacted with her too. Overall, the food was okay. You need to go there at a different time in order to have the full experience because they didn't have much to choose from. Very disappointed. need to work on customer service. read more

I ordered on the app, I waited several minutes to get order with no obe in front of me. I picked up my order and brought at home after a stop at the airport. The order was wrong, wrong items with the correct labels in the bag. This was not what I ordered. I went on app to get a refund and no response. I went to the store the next day and they were so rude and told me that they couldn't help me and I had to go through the app. The employees were rude and unhelpful. read more

Anyone giving this restaurant 1 star because of the service the first week they opened and had lines wrapped around outside should be disappointed in themselves. This is expected when eating at a brand new place; especially when we have waited so long for it to open. I have eaten here 2x so far with the mobile ordering to take home to eat. The first time was the 2nd night they opened and I felt so bad for the workers since they were beyond slammed, but they did their best to hold it together with a customer service smile. Both times I have eaten here the food was fresh, fantastic, and flavorful and I am excited to have this new option in the neighborhood! read more

my fav fastfood always!! the ricebowls with chicken and harissa are delicious, could come back every day.

The food is amazing!! I love the cookies & the service is amazing!! They have great sauces for the food as well!

Food is great. Service is mid. Workers need to be supervised. They are moving very slow and seem as though they are just ready to check out and go home (as I witnessed the employee at the register say). They're barely any tables to sit outside with plenty of empty space to add more tables. I had no choice but to eat in my car. read more
