My biggest issue was with the Garlic Spread. I ordered a 4 oz portion, but since I weigh things each day it felt off. I weighed the container when it arrived and it was only about 3.2 oz. That's roughly 20% less than the advertised portion, which was really disappointing. I also ordered two pieces of Baklava. They were delicious, but the portions were very inconsistent--one piece was basically bite-sized while the other was a proper piece. Overall, the food had some highlights, but the inconsistency in portions was frustrating. Accurate portions matter to me, especially when they're advertised by weight, and because of this experience, I wouldn't order from here again.

I ordered one of their signature items, the Barbecue Chicken Egg Rolls. The egg rolls were prepared as described, and the chicken filling was flavorful and well-cooked. While the quality was good, I was personally undecided about the combination of barbecue flavor on top of an egg roll. I also ordered a fountain soda, which unfortunately had an off taste. It seemed as though the fountain machine may have needed cleaning, as the flavor appeared mixed with other beverages. The restaurant was very quiet during my visit, with only one other customer dining while I was there. Seating consisted of standard flat-top and high top tables, and the service was professional and courteous. The dining area and restrooms were both clean and well-maintained. Overall, my experience was positive. Although I was not completely sold on the egg rolls, I would consider returning in the future when I am back in the area to try one of their sandwiches or bowls.

The menu is also expansive with a ton of options from handhelds to entrees, and a ton of starters. We actually decided to split a few of those. We went with the nachos, truffle fries, chicken wings, and spinach dip. First off, the portions were HUGE and I LOVED the fries and spinach dip. The wings were a little underwhelming (tough, maybe a little over done?) and the nachos, though very well portioned, were a little lighter on toppings than we would have liked. But still pretty good! There are a TON of TVs here and different games were playing ( to a different baseball game so if you're into that sort thing you'll dig that (many were tuned to the Tiger's game). Service was a little pokey but pleasant and helpful when we were able to get them over to us. Overall pretty solid, though! Banging, yelling, and an open doorway into the kitchen. Off-putting, especially with better seating clearly open. The food keeps the rating up. I did not expect a wings place, but the smoked wings were my favorite, right amount of crispy with good smoke. The sauce list is long and I couldn't pick a favorite. A few days ago, I tried ordering through DoorDash, but after my driver was turned away four different times and I waited over an hour, I finally canceled the order. I decided to give them another chance and picked it up myself today, hoping it was just a one-time issue. Unfortunately, the food quality and attention to detail were noticeably different from what I've always loved. The chicken shawarma lacked the bold, flavorful seasoning they're known for and was very light on the garlic. They also forgot the small container of garlic sauce they normally include. The hummus arrived plain--no drizzle of olive oil and no sprinkle of paprika, which has always been part of the presentation. Even the pickled turnips were a very pale pink instead of the vibrant, tangy pickles they've traditionally served. None of these things alone would have prompted a review, but together they make it feel like the quality and consistency have declined. As a long-time customer, that's really disappointing because this used to be one of my favorite places in Canton. I truly hope this is just a temporary slip and not the new standard, because I'd love to see La Shisho return to the quality that made me a loyal customer for so many years.

The ordering line is toward the back, facing refrigerator cases filled with soft drinks and shelves of snacks. I always enjoy trying a bit of everything, which is what I found here. The gyro pita was grilled for extra crispiness and filled with lamb/beef, tomatoes, onions, fries, and tzatziki sauce. Chicken, chevapi, and veggie are other sandwich options. The lamb/ beef filling was flavorful and plentiful. I ordered Greek fries, even though some came in the sandwich, and I am so glad that I did. The fries were topped with tzatziki sauce, crumbled feta, olive oil, and oregano. Fantastic. I liked that the hot fries complemented the coolness of the tzatziki sauce. It might be better served separately so the contrast in flavors is more pronounced; the sauce warmed up from the fries after a while. The bougasta was also delicious. Served hot, I enjoyed the creamy custard encased in flaky pastry, and liberally topped with cinnamon and powdered sugar. I was too full even to sample the small tzatziki, served with a griddled pita.
