Was told about this place for a while now. Just needed to get here! The LBC trip did just that! We stopped by for dinner after the Oakland Ballers and LBC Coast game. Jumped in line and immediately overwhelmed with options! decided on the build my own bowl. Spinach, arugula, basmati rice, feta, tomatoes, harissa honey chicken, grilled steak, pita stips, crazy feta, side harissa. Yeah, we need this place in the Bay Area! I don't know why we are late to the party when it comes to places like this. But this is worth stopping by when in the So. Cal area with a location near you! I highly recommend stopping by when you see one or plan to stop by one!

First time here...... it was first recommended from my daughter, then I also heard about it on social media. Well we finally made it here..... it's supposed to be better than chipotle LOL .... This is a highly popular American fast-casual restaurant chain specializing in customizable, Mediterranean-and-Greek-inspired bowls and pitas. Well it was really good actually. No complaints easy to order, common sense menu. Not disappointed at all. Of course this location is no where close to my area but worth the drive. We would definitely be back.

I like their chicken and rice bowls, I add extra protein which is an extra charge. The place is clean overall, there's times when it's really busy which is usually around lunch time. Staff are friendly for the most part, once in a while you get staff that don't want to be there but eh you just ignore it. Download the cava app to get rewards when you eat there.

I'm actually pleasantly surprised by Cava! As a first timer, I felt like a pro while ordering since the setup is just like Chipotle, but with Mediterranean food. I appreciated that vegan options were clearly marked. Here's what I ordered: Base: super greens and black lentils Mains: falafel and roasted veggies Dips: red pepper hummus and harissa Toppings: fiery broccoli, fire-roasted corn, pickled onion, pickles, tomato & cucumber, kalamata olives, and sumac slaw. Dressing: tahini caesar Not the prettiest presentation, but there's a lot of layers of flavors up in that bowl, and I loved every bite! When we walked in, I wasn't sure if we were to go left (towards the registers) or to the right (away from the registers). I used my Chipotle instincts and went to the right. The location is not very convenient for us to visit, and the parking lot seems to be a popular hangout for teens and college students revving their cars on a Friday night. A bit chaotic, but also outside of Cava's control. Though if I'm ever in the area during a calmer timeframe, I'd be happy to swing by for a meal.

01/31/26 My daughter was here before and wanted me to try it with her today. I walked in and it was an inviting place.The ordering process is like Chipotle but with Mediterranean food. For my first time here, it was a little intimidating because I didn't know what they offered. So I chose a pre-built chicken and rice bowl which consists of grilled chicken, brown rice, tzatziki, hummus, feta, pickled onion, tomato, arugula and Greek vinaigrette. Ordered pita chips on the side as well. Everything was delicious. It was fresh and light but they give you a lot in my opinion. The pita chips were so good too. I also got the jasmine iced tea. There was no sweetness to it so I wasn't a fan of it. I also got the blueberry lavender drink. Again, wasn't sweet but both drinks were very refreshing. Tasted clean. Prices are a little up there. Food: 10/10 Drinks: 7/10 Service: 5/10 Overall: 8/10 servers need to be a little more patient with guests, especially new ones who don't know what to order on the spot. Give them time to see what you offer. There was something that was black that looked like a bigger version of flax seeds but I still don't know what it is because they were moving me right along.

We'd been wanting to try this place for a long time, and it did not disappoint! Arrived for dinner around 5:45. While we were there we saw the line grow long a few times, but it moved quickly. We had looked over the menu previously but there were so many options it was hard to choose! There were build your own options as well as tasty menu combos. I chose the spicy lamb bowl, one person chose the harissa steak bowl and our other member created her own bowl with harissa honey chicken. They had a fair sized team working, and they moved very quickly and efficiently. We could hardly keep up with their questions as we moved through the line to have our bowls prepared! Haha. I was happy they asked though- if I wanted the dressing on the side, any changes to my menu combination, etc. They had interesting bottled drinks for sale as well as delicious sounding "fountain" juices. My daughter chose the blueberry lavender. It was delicious! Not too sweet, gentle flavor. We were very happy with our selections. They are packed in compostable with lids , for easy take out or dine in. The meats were cooked well, and the other ingredients were tasty and fresh. Good quality. The dips were yummy, and the sauces potent; the skhug sauce in particular packed a gralicky walllop. The only thing I would change next time would be more salad greens and less lentils. The bathrooms were accessible and clean. The restaurant was also clean. Decent amount of seating. They have a patio as well. We were impressed with the whole operation. They have a rewards program too. Prices are a little high but we were quite full when we left, and felt the meal worth it. Looking forward to trying many more items!

2026 and i found my hack of eating healthy and saving money at the same time. 1 bowl is good for 3-4 meals for me or sometime more because I eat small portion but frequently. And that's how I lost more than 10 lbs just eating cava daily. I never stood in line, i always order thru the app for pick up. Free pita breads. Big portion, cheap price, rewards= winning.

BIRTHDAY MONTH=BIRTHDAY COUPONS=HAPPY RODNEY Free drink, pita chips, cookie or blondie Cava is a Chipotle/Blaze Pizza type of Mediterranean fast casual eatery, where guests can pick & choose what they want in their food order. Doing some reconnaissance, beforehand, I planned on redeeming a chocolate chip blondie. However, in person, Cava's blondies were tiny, little buggers. Being a hot day, and noticing Cava has several house-made drinks, I decided a free beverage would be in order for the visit. Cucumber mint lime- Refreshing & rejuvenating, I cut this with 50% water to reduce my sugar intake. And, it came out perfect. Pineapple apple mint- Just as good, if not better, the pineapple apple mint had tropical notes from the pineapple, also cut with 50% water. Prior to leaving, I did a 50/50 mix of pineapple apple mint & unsweetened jasmine green tea. That was the perfect combo! Service was good. The line was long, but moved at a steady clip. There was a bit of a hiccup scanning the QR code on my app, but it was taken care of. Cava is located on the left of Nothing Bundt Cakes, adjacent to In N' Out. My first time at Cava, and I was impressed with the assembly line of fresh ingredients. Their house-made drinks quenched my thirst on a hot September day. I would enjoy coming back & ordering a bowl.

Dinner sucked!!! CAVA lost a customer tonight. I will not be back. The bowl was thrown together with missing ingredients and zero care. The employee preparing my food had a nasty attitude the entire time. Then Victoria, the manager, told me, "I hope you like your food." At that point, something told me to walk out and I should have trusted my gut. Terrible customer service and terrible food experience at the Long Beach Traffic Circle location.

The food at CAVA was fresh and full of flavor. I love how you can build your own bowl and mix different toppings, sauces, and proteins to make it exactly how you like it. Everything tasted really clean and healthy but still filling. The staff was friendly and the place was nice and clean. It's a great spot if you want something quick but better than regular fast food. Definitely a place I'd come back to.

I was visiting my son and needed somewhere to get something that fits my vegan diet. I decided to try Cava for the first time since it was comparable to a place I eat it back in Maryland. I built my own bowl with the various offerings that fit my taste and needs and completed it with the falafels and tahini sauce. I was really impressed with the number of toppings they allow and tried as many as I could. I was also impressed with the customer service provided and their patience in answering my many questions. The food was fresh and delicious and I only regret not trying them sooner. I'll be adding them to my list of places I can eat when traveling since it's hard to find healthy options on the road for a vegan. read more

I'm a big fan of this chain, having been to a couple of others. I went with a coworker today - the time on the door states they open at 10:45 AM and not at 10:30 AM, as listed on Yelp. We arrived at 11:00 AM so it was not an issue. There was only one girl working the counter, which is a little crazy considering I'd see like five people working in the front at other Cava's. Luckily there was no one else there. The girl, who seemed new, was friendly and gave us good portions. I know some have complained about the portions, but it probably depends on who you get. From my experience, never order online as all Cavas I've been to skimp like crazy when you do. I ordered my usual Harissa Chicken (it's spicy - so beware) on top of salad along with a bunch of toppings, the corn being one of my favorites. I do like the Balsamic Date Vinaigrette as well, which is sweet unlike regular vinaigrettes. Garlic dressing on the side is a must as well for the free pita bread. It was my coworker's first time, and she loved it. Needless to say, we'll be back! read more

Do NOT use the order-ahead feature if you're expecting to pick up your food in a reasonable amount of time. Every time I've used it, my order has taken even longer than if I had just come in and stood in the longest line. One time it took 49 minutes, today over 30 min. I'm not sure if this is due to understaffing or something else, but twice now, I've had to leave without my order after waiting well beyond the promised time. This process needs serious improvement--it's been incredibly inconvenient and frustrating. While Cava support has given me credits twice, it doesn't make up for the wasted time. I won't be coming back. read more

To start, I really love Cava. I think their food is so tasty and is always fresh, really just great. Staff is pretty nice as well. I just want to say, stay away from ordering online with them. I order online often and they mess up the order about 70% of the time, as well as making you wait far longer than the time you put. For example, I might put in an order at 5 for 5:30, and by 5:45 it's still hasn't been started. Honestly though, this location is so busy and seems consistently understaffed. This is not an issue of the workers. I see the employees running around, working their asses off, seeming stressed as hell, all with a smile. It's on management to properly staff their stores. There's no reason for there to only be 5 employees (2-3 of which are kitchen staff) working during a lunch rush, ridiculous. Do better Cava management!!!!! read more

Super delish lunch! My husband and I built our own bowls. Super fresh and delicious flavor! Only downside to visiting this location was the service we received of the team member preparing our bowl. She was very rude and had zero patience for the elderly lady ordering before us. The young man working the cash register was very polite and nice! Thank you to him for saving our experience since this was our first time visiting a CAVA ever. Nonetheless great food! read more

I love cava. But this location honestly sucks. Everything is so salty and just sad looking. Also the amount of food they give you is genuinely hysterical. Like half the amount they give you at other locations. Service has been terrible every single time I went there. The dude with the dreads and the tiny funny looking glasses acts like he has better things to do than work there. If I ask a singular question, or think about my choices for a singular second. He will lean on his hip and tap his finger like he's got errands to run. Everyone is just so passive aggressive. Also every table seems to be dirty and they never have napkins. Whoever is managing this spot needs to put their adult pants on and teach the team how to run an establishment. If you don't like your job just find a new one bro Just go to chipotle or halal guys across the street if you are considering this place. Food is worse here for double the price compared to the other build your own bowl places. read more

It's like Chipotle for Mediterranean. Great for folks with dietary restrictions; easy to navigate (especially in the app) and lots of choices. Downside is the apathy of the staff. No urgency to get mobile orders ready on time (up to 25 mins late, in my experience), and since staff is on an assembly line, it's "what do you want?" and move on. Staff doesn't explain options, but just points to a sign for you to choose. The product is still good, and I'm sure that they're mostly college students trying to make a buck, so I'm not mad - it just seems like a missed opportunity. Still worth going for a quick, flavorful bite. read more

Out of feta/crazy feta, romaine(wild), tomato/onion AND pita WTH? But then the place to be a disgusting mess? Do better. 1/1/26 @ 6:32 PM. It wasn't too busy to empty the trash, restock your lobby and make it look presentable. Also, don't look at me like I have a hole in my head because I'm perplexed that you are out of everything. I'll go somewhere else thank you. Fortunately for me, this is not a food desert. This is the second time that I've had an issue here but I saved the review last time. I wish this one would get it together. There isn't one closer. Sad read more

I can't believe how awful this location is. My daughter placed an app order that she paid for. The store couldn't find it in their system so even though she showed them proof, they told her she had to message the company for a refund and go stand in the (very long) line. Do not go to this location! I am glad I just got a Cava near work so I can get my fix there. read more

The food at cava is great. I absolutely love the healthy and very fresh options. The protein options are some of the best. My issue with cava is the very slow service. It is impossible to get in and out of this place without as much as wasting 15 minutes in the line. If this is supposed to mimic The quick service demonstrated by chipotle they are so far off the mark. This is consistent with every cover I visited. I will not come to cover if I am ever on a lunch break or in need of a bite with no less than 20 minutes of lead time. It is not worse that length of time standing behind a line of people on their cell phones and then getting up to the line only to have the folks in front of you unfamiliar with the menu and indecisive about what they want. I would recommend you order ahead on the app because that's the only way you're getting.your scoop and go meal at scoop and go speed. read more

Horrible take out service. They are super slow. Picking up food should be quick. Not making people wait 20 minutes. The take out line gets ignored to prioritize people barely walking up who haven't been waiting. My husband and I placed our order online 30 minutes ago and we still don't have it. This is the slowest take out service I've ever gotten. This was our first and last time eating here. We'll see how long it actually takes for us to get our food. I knew I should've gone to Chipotle. read more

Great food but avoid ordering online during rush hours. Their ETAs are never accurate and always take an hr longer that what is estimated. There needs to be more support in Take out during this time. I notice there's sometimes only one person working that corner and everyone else is helping the walk in customers. read more

I went on a Thursday night and it was slammed. They do not take reservations but they do have a waitlist via toast that you can join while you walk around and wait for your table. Plenty to do and see on 2nd street. We ordered the party platter for 4 people! It was the perfect amount of food with leftovers to take home. Everything was cooked to PERFECTION. Our beef was a textbook medium rare and was so juicy and tender, as was the rest of the meat. The chicken was so moist and flavorful, as was all the shawarma. All meats were seasoned beautifully. The rice underneath was stunning as well and really caught all the juices from the meat on top. The roasted tomatoes, onions, and pickles were the perfect compliments to help freshen up the palette during the meal. The sauces were amazing and there was a clear favorite (the garlic sauce) which was annihilated by all four of us. Service was friendly! It was very packed so it was slow at times but understandably so. They come by and give you orange blossom water for your hands post meal - what a treat! We smelled amazing! NO NOTES FOR OPEN SESAME! A couple things to know before you go: parking isn't great, and the restaurant gets busy. We showed up around 5:00 p.m. and only waited about 20 minutes, but I could see larger parties having a much longer wait. My go-to dish is the Pad Kra Prow Eggplant with chicken. It's a Thai basil stir-fry with eggplant, onion, and Thai chilis, and I absolutely love it. We also ordered the mussel curry, which my friend picked, and it completely surprised me. I wasn't expecting to enjoy it as much as I did, but it was excellent. The standout, though, was the Khao Soi Noodle Soup with sliced rib-eye beef. Somehow I'd never ordered the dish they're most famous for, and now I understand why. It absolutely lived up to the hype. The broth with the rib-eye was incredible and is something I'd recommend to anyone visiting for the first time. My biggest criticism is that the rice portions feel smaller than they used to. With how much delicious curry and sauce you get, I found myself wishing there was just a little more rice to soak everything up. I also noticed that the green beans in the Pad Kra Prow Eggplant are very al dente. Personally, I'd prefer if they were blanched just a bit so they were slightly more tender. If the goal is to add texture, I'd almost rather see crunch come from something like cashews instead--but that's just my preference. For dessert, we had the mango sticky rice and another dessert with sweet milk dumplings and red beans. Both were fantastic and a great way to end the meal. Vibes of the restaurant are great. It's a small venue, but they work quickly, and a staff was very welcoming. Overall, Chiang Rai continues to be my favorite Thai spot in Southern California. If it's your first visit, the Khao Soi with sliced rib-eye is absolutely the dish I'd tell you to order.

It did taste like slight parm, which, even if a little bit more Parmesan was added, maybe this would've tasted a bit better. But apparently all the Parmesan was reserved only for the salads. (This dish was supposed to have a duck base, but this was not cooked properly) not only was I simply turned off by this dish, there was nobody by to help or even get it to go box. But quite honestly, I just left the food which is so sad. Left over pasta is always so good but I really could not continue eating this as I truly did not enjoy the taste. I left hungry and sadly disappointed.

I had the BEST experience at CAVA in Long Beach! The food was not only delicious but prepared with such care and attention to detail. Every bite was packed with flavor, and you could really tell the freshness of each ingredient. The team here really knows what they're doing! I was genuinely excited to try CAVA for the first time. I had heard nothing but amazing things and was looking forward to finally seeing what all the hype was about. But that excitement quickly turned into frustration and disappointment. After carefully choosing my meal and getting to the register, I pulled out a $100 bill to pay--only to be told they don't accept $100 bills. No sign, no warning, nothing. Just a flat-out refusal. Confused, we asked if we could split the payment, even offering to pay any extra fees. Again, we were told no. It felt like we were being punished for simply trying to pay for our food. As someone who has worked in the restaurant industry for a few years, and who has worked at store openings, I feel that some people need to be a bit more understanding that they're a new location that's been very hyped up and that has been barely open for a week; there's gonna be trial and error on how to handle the large influx of people as well as the supply and demand. I absolutely love Cava! It's the perfect spot if you're craving something fresh, flavorful, and customizable. The build-your-own Mediterranean bowl concept is genius--you get to pick your base, proteins, toppings, and sauces, and everything always tastes so vibrant and delicious. The ingredients are super fresh, and there are so many healthy options to choose from. On top of the great food, I have to give a shoutout to Ana, the cashier. Her energy and friendliness made the experience even better. She was warm, welcoming, and made sure everything with my order was just right. Live Flies in Food + Wrong Order - Horrific Experience I've been a loyal CAVA customer for over 10 years, but this experience was beyond unacceptable. The order I received contained live house flies inside the food package -- I have a video showing this. On top of that, the order wasn't even mine; I received someone else's food entirely (photo of label attached). This is not just poor service -- it's a serious food safety violation. I expect CAVA to investigate this immediately and take corrective action. I will also be reporting this to the appropriate food safety authorities. This place surprised me dearly, each and every time I come back happier than before! What makes this place so good isn't just the food, but also the customer service! They are always so kind, helpful, and very very patient. I made sure to remember the names of two employees that excel in that! Tijeer and Ana, the both of them have been absolutely phenomenal! They are both kind and compassionate about what they do! They are will to work with anyone and they even sorted out many problems I've had and others have had. Tanya and Dominick had the most amazing customer service I have ever experienced in my life, they helped my friend and I with our first time at cava. They told us suggestions and gave us feedbacks/recommendations. On the other hand Walter scooped a good serving but then would pour half of it the serving out right before he poured it into our bowls. I have heard Walter has been doing this for a while and I don't think it's fair to the customers to be under portioning for the price that they are paying. I hope you guys will talk to him about his actions, it was extremely disrespectful! read more
