Fatima provided us with recommendations and explained how the process went. Fatima went above and beyond with her customer service job. It seems like Fatima really enjoys her job. I had a chicken harissa bowl - it looked good until the guy dumped a HUGE portion of the very spicey harissa dressing on top. My bowl was SWIMMING in harissa sauce. It was inedible. If you go here, have them put the dressing on the side. The other person I was with also had way too much dressing. Food is really pricey. read more

Oh wow I am really hooked on these bowls! My friend recommended we meet here for lunch when I said I wanted something healthy. He assured me there were veggie options too. The first time I went we waited in line for about 20 minutes. It is bumpin at lunch time! Each time I've visited I got basically the same thing. I love making a salad with the splendid greens (chicory endive, romaine, escarole, belgian endive and radicchio). I don't get the grains, but they have many options. Then you can pick up to 3 dips. This is my favorite part. I am obsessed with the crazy feta and eggplant. I also add the red pepper hummus for the nutrients, but it is not my favorite hummus. The next section has the proteins. I get falafel and roasted veggies. The falafel are not spicy and go well with all the dips mixed together. Once you get to the veggie toppings - you can add as many as you want for no extra charge (except avocado). I literally add them all. The herb tahini dressing on the side is my go to. This entire salad is about $10. I am obsessed. I never usually order a drink, but Cava is the exception. I love their iced teas and juices! I like to mix half unsweet black tea with half of the blueberry lavender juice. I ordered once on the app and picked it up after seeing how long the wait was the first time I went. Unfortunately my whole order was wrong. I was super disappointed and submitted a complaint since it was so wrong. Immediately my account was credited. I have been jonesing to try CAVA since their opened in their new Brooklyn location on Riverside ave and was not disappointed! I love Chipotle's flexibility in building your food and was so excited for the same concept but in a Mediterranean style which is my favorite kind of food! I went on the earlier end of the lunch hour for fear that it would be busy and seating would be limited. I was pleasantly surprised to find that there is ample indoor & outdoor seating! You can order online for pickup or delivery but I chose to order on the spot. For my base I chose arugula and brown rice. Did you know you can split your protein choice in halves? I opted for their grilled chicken and falafel. Both were very delicious! For my dips/spreads (you can choose up to three!!!) I had the tzatziki and roasted red pepper hummus. Topping I chose the tomato with cucumber, tomato with onion, Persian cucumbers, Kalamata olives, pickled onions, and crumbled feta. I didn't choose a dressing because for me the toppings have enough delicious flavor on their own! Join their loyalty program to earn rewards towards free food. Never disappointed when I go to Cava. I got the Balsamic Date Chicken bowl and substituted the chicken with lamb and it was so good. This is the worst cava in Jacksonville the people that work here have terrible attitudes. I was here as soon as they opened and the floors still had trash on it from the day before. Just was here 5 minutes ago the place was empty and took them 10 minutes to serve one person. The employees look absolutely miserable I expect this kind of attitude at a Burger King. The workers are incredibly charming and charismatic, and excellent at their job. I've been waiting for an early off day for me since cava came to my area, i finally get a day to get off early. Looked on the website and realized this particular store closes at 10PM so i decide to visit . When i pull up to the restaurant at 9:19 i see a group of young workers horse playing behind the counter but i do not try to judge. I notice on the door, the store hours 10:45-10PM, pull in the double doors and to my amazement both doors were locked . I can see directly into the restaurant, they were lined up fixing they're own togo plates for home. (atleast that's what it looked like to me) Horrible first impression of you ask me .. i guess I'll give it another try but not at this location .. maybe in another city .
