This location never disappoints. The food is always really good, the portion sizes are appropriate and the people are always very nice. I always get the combination of lamb and chicken which is always really good here. The location is right off of Washington Avenue which makes it a super busy spot, so be prepared to wait. I really like the vibes, very large but still the small restaurant style feel. From now on this will definitely be my go to location.

If you like Chipotle and want something different yet fresh, savory and Mediterranean, stop on by. Dropped by during the week for friend's lunch and got there in time to avoid the rush. Located on a corner of shopping strip on Washington, parking is shared with other businesses. Once inside, it's simple and clean. Plenty of seating available, unless you come during the week for lunch, it gets busy. Service was quick and friendly. Opted for the build my own, with garlicky chicken shawarma bowl and was not disappointed. Chicken was well seasoned and tender. Like Chipotle, I added the additional toppings to my liking and taste. Highly recommend the red pepper hummus. Or you can follow their pre-curated bowls and modify from there. Thanked my friend for recommending we lunch here and look forward to returning. Enjoyed every savory bite.

Mediterranean chipotle is a great description of this place. A great spot to build your own / mix and match greens and protein with an assortment of toppings. So you could make your bowl as healthy or as flavorful as you can. I usually go with a custom bowl of greens/rice and combo meats (tried out the lamb/steak combo this time around) It's a good price point for $15 which is very filling and flavorful. Good quality/portion balance Location is fairly convenient, has its own parking lot and also within walking distance from a few other stables of Washington, service is fairly efficient. Overall I think it's a solid fast-casual spot with quality ingredients. Very customizable and can meet your dietary restrictions. Definitely be back again soon.

Love that you can order two proteins in a bowl. Food was fresh and delicious. Not sure why some people get 2 pitas and others get 1, but pita was ok. Lentil option instead of rice was great! Server gave me suggestions for the sauces which were spot on: skhug and garlic combo! When I got my drink and went to find a table, both spaces could have used cleaning. Most tables had remnants from previous patrons and we never saw someone cleaning the tables.

Loving this cava! Always fresh and always delicious. They have the best customer service and it's always clean. Always go for the Greek salad bowl!

I wish they had a CAVA in MN!! My new obsession... When I visited Houston, I got this four times because I liked it so much. It is so simple, but everything tastes so good. Everytime I go there is usually a line but it goes by fast. It is a Mediterranean fast restaurant and you can't go wrong with a good Mediterranean bowl. There is plenty of seating and lots of parking! The staff and service is great! You can add pita bread but be sure to add pita chips and garlic sauce (there's plenty of sauces to choose from). That's what brings everything in together... I'm waiting for the day they open one in MN so, I don't have to travel to get this all the time.

Cava is renowned for its fresh ingredients and delicious flavor combinations, particularly its customizable bowls and wraps. Although Cava's prices are slightly higher than those of competitors like Chipotle, I believe the extra cost is justified by the quality and taste. I also enjoy the crispy pita chips and the variety of drink options available.

It had great Persian vibe including music played. Food and drinks: Very good selection of traditional dishes that were not westernised as in other Persian restaurants. The food was fresh, well seasoned and was full of flavours. The meats were moist, salad and starter tasted fresh. Pinch of sumac which was available on each table was a perfect addition to our dishes. Highly recommend hot Persian tea. Pricing: $$ - very affordable for the quality and quantity of foods received.

However, we were charged for it at the end. I understand the charge itself, but no one at the table had ordered it; they just set it on the table. It would have been nice if the staff had made it clear or asked if we wanted to add it to our meal. Perhaps there was a mix up with another table. Our experience was otherwise great, but double check the menu for what is complimentary and what isn't.

All 3 meals were really flavorful, good quality, really well-seasoned, very juicy and so delicious. The gyros and burger are without question imo the best in TX. Ekko's and Nick The Greek are 2nd n 3rd for Greek food for me. I always got the gyros sandwich as opposed to the plate before which is odd bc I always prefer meat plates over sandwich form in other foods like bbq, steak, etc. The meat pieces were all really tasty and had some slight char to them too. The taziki sauce is always cold, creamy in feel and refreshing with a good yogurt aroma to it. It's a great bonus and the gyros didn't even need it tbh. The tomatoes were nicely refreshing and the exotic, cool center dolma is always a little treat with meals here. The rice and chunky lemon potatoes with my meals were always mild but still great in texture and prep. As I said before; from my experiences in every single Greek cafe, if the taziki sauce is good, the gyros will be too. It's a solid symptom and indicator imo. As for the burger, very rarely are burger places only in TX actually any good for the past 15 years. So many are just average or below lacking seasoning or a great overall flavor. Niko Niko's, Goode Company Hamburgers and TX Hamburger Palace are my top 3 in that order for it. Each different too. The brioche buns were just the right thickness and very soft to make the beef patty stick out well. The patty was so nice in charbroiled taste, saltiness, richness, beefiness and tender in every bite. A good burger doesn't need much in toppings, but cool, refreshing, tomatoes are a must for me and pickles add some tangy crunch too. For steak rare, but for a burger medium to medium rare. I had never seen or heard of their Greek Spaghetti n Meat Sauce before. This was like a Greek Bolognese with a lot of love in its flavor. The noodles were drained, very moist and so soft. I don't like too much cheese, so I took some off, but still like some. The meat sauce gravy itself was really flavorful, savory, fatty enough and had that subtle sweet, warm spice aroma you get in the Greek lasagna. I like to get dessert here sometimes when I have extra room, bc they have some great options like their galaktobourreko, chocolate ganache cake, etc. The service was very welcoming, friendly and efficient on these visits.

Been meaning to try this place but it was not at the top of my list. I was finally able to visit…read morethis restaurant last Thursday. The place is new but not recently new, so I was impress that they were still attracting a crowd. The place was packed and busy but the host was still able to seat us immediately. With reservation, of course. Our seat was a banquet seating and when the host directed us to our table, we notice the party seated next to our table had placed all their personal belongings on our seats. We had to ask the host to ask them to remove their personals so that we can sit down. I felt that the host should have done that and not upon our request. Our server was Keamogetswe and she jumped right into explaining the menu since it was our first time. I am used to ordering drinks first and while waiting for our drinks, explore the food menu. That way, we can ask questions about any item we were unfamiliar with on the menu. Anyways, we ordered our food and they came out very fast. For starters, we had the grilled shrimp which was just two shrimps. They were not prawns so the size of the two shrimps for $18 was not worth it to me. We also tried the Rumi's wings. They were average to me. Nothing to brag about. For the main course, we wanted to try several dishes and settle for a family style meal. We had the braised lamb shank, chicken kabob and the Koobideh Kabob. Since all plates came with rice, Keamogetswe suggest we try different rice options which was a great suggestion. So for the rice, we had the Adas, the Baghali and the Shirin. I have to admit that the braised lamb was amazing. The stew it sat in was very flavorful and the meat melted off the bone it came with. The Koobideh was also another favorite of mine. Both, I highly recommend everyone to try. And my favorite rice was the Shirin. As we moved on to dessert, we had the burnt honey & pistachio cake and the persian ice cream sandwich. Both taste great but the persian ice cream sandwich itself was vanilla wafer. Different but it made it easier to eat with your fingers. The weird thing was when the dessert was served to us, so was the check. I am used to us eating dessert or just starting to enjoy dessert before being handed the check. And when they do hand me the check, they would mention that it was no rush and when I am ready to take care of it. But that didn't happen and I decided to get it out of the way so I can just enjoy the dessert. As we were conversing and finishing our drinks, they started to clear our table and even picked up the signed check or tab. It felt like they were hinting us to get up. I feel that if there was a time frame to dine with them, they should have made us aware of it before dinner or when we made reservation like how Toca Madera does. So that made me feel uncomfortable. But this could just be me.
