Let me start off by saying CAVA is my favorite place to eat so you can imagine my excitement when I saw they were opening one in Hanover!!! However.... I was in a hurry so I ordered ahead. Online ordering through the app was very easy. However when I got there at my pick up the me, it was not ready. It was NOT busy, but ok. They made it in about 3 mins and I was out the door. I get all the way home only to find my order is wrong. I ordered a greens and grains bowl w/ super greens and brown rice. Not only was there NO GREENS but they gave me white basmati rice. Fortunately at home I had some super greens and arugula I added. But I shouldn't have to add ingredients I ordered. Food still tasted good and they did give me a cup for a drink while I waited (which I had the oh so fabulous root beer mmmmmmmmm). First visit the CAVA. The set up is much like a Chipotle, you go downe the line and tell them what to your bowl. Stopped in for a healthy meal. Was pleased but it was a bit pricey. I made the mistake of asking for a bit of everything, It was good, but I lost track of what I liked best. You may want to look at the menu before you walk in the first time. I got the greens and grains with falafel and spicy harissa. I like spicy so I liked the harissa, but it is spicy. Will look forward to other locations opening. The parking was terrible. If I go back to this location I will stay out of the parking lot near the location and walk. read more

Portion is pretty skimpy given the price. First time I visited I asked for a mini pita pocket ($4) just so I could try it before buying the regular sized one. Once I got to the register they rung it up as a regular pita ($9), and said that I had mistaken the order (although I had told the first person on the line that I wanted a mini pita, they still gave me the "regular"). Given the small size of the regular pita, I am afraid to see what the mini one looks like. However, the food itself was great. If they would be less stingy with portions, this would be 5 stars. I visited Cava for the fist time yesterday evening. I had no clue what I was ordering. Jordan was so patient with my boyfriend and I...her customer service was above and beyond. This review is for service only, not the food. I ordered online and arrived at the time that was selected for pick up. My order was not ready and as I stood there waiting for my food, I could see that if I had gotten in line and not order online, I would have received my food before I actually did. That really wasn't the problem. What the issue was and no where online did it state that there's no refunds. Not that I wanted a refund on the food they made, but I ordered a chocolate chip cookie. Once I received my food, the lady helping me stated there were no chocolate chip cookies and told me to take the apricot cookie instead. No apology or anything, I stated I didn't want the apricot cookie and to spend $2.75 for a cookie I did not want was no acceptable. I asked for a refund and she stated no, she couldn't give me one. She stated since I ordered online (through the official CAVA site) they can't refund my money. I asked to speak to the manager and she stated she was the manager and couldn't refund my money. I took the apricot cookie but thought the customer service could have been better. I think CAVA should be able to refund your money if they don't have what you ordered, and not try to get you to take pita chips and dip or a different cookie instead. If I wanted pita chips and dip, I would have ordered it. Bottom line, be aware that there's no refund for online orders even if they are sold out of what you order, too bad so sad, take what we offer or not and we don't care. The manager should be empowered to make the call and refund customers' money should this arise, but she didn't and her customer service was very poor!! Doesn't matter what the amount was, it's about customer service, I should pay for what I get and not pay for what I don't get. read more

Nice to have healthier food option close by. This was good but the Columbia location is definitely better. The food bowl doesn't come with complimentary mini pita like in other locations. Food is good but the service could be friendlier. Also they are very stingy with their dips, you only get very tiny scoop of each. read more

CAVA is a great place for a meal. Everything seemed to be very fresh, and full of flavor. The ordering system, yeah, is similar to Chipotle, but the ingredients are far more healthy, fresh, better tasting, and more delicious. Their app makes it easy to order carry-out, and have it ready when you arrive. I am not knocking Chipotle, but CAVA provides a much more fresh and unique experience. read more

I first tried this place a couple months ago ... on my lunch break i got a pita sandwitch and it was really good. The only thing ill say is it was a dissapointment to come pick my order up and sauce was spilled all over my sandwitch. I get it that accidents happen though and one of the employees gave me a new bag. Deffinately will be going here again. read more

Kudos for one of the best customer service experiences I've had in a while. Namely Maria, Nicole and manager Blake! This was my first time eating at CAVA and my server Maria took the time to explain the menu and after a few questions offered suggestions that would suite my palate. Blake and Nicole had such great energy I just had to call them over to share in the fun, the chef in the back tried to get in on the action but couldn't break away from making all that tasty goodness on the grill. I've tried to go to another nearby location previously but felt a bit rushed and intimidated in the process so each time decided to leave instead.
