Not up to cava standards. Fell in love with this chain in DC (and I normally don't do chains). Unfortunately I nearly broke a tooth on some raw undercooked black lentils. Also their portions of hummus were barely visible. The ground lamb was good though and the crazy feta is not to be missed so net for the price not terrible. But they can do better. Given other options in the area, the low price and relative number of healthy options, with a trial - but skip the lentils. read more

Get the Courtney special as prepared by Courtney herself! I frequent this location, the food and service never disappoints.

Food is fine, but not great. Undercooked crunchy basmati rice was a bummer. More importantly, the staff was horrible. Fast, yes, but cold and unfriendly, even abrupt and nasty. Rather than feeling like a welcomed new customer (I mentioned it was my first time), I felt like I was an annoyance. I won't return. It's too bad. I wanted to like this place given the lack of reasonably priced options in the area. read more

I love Cava it's so delicious. I go to them in NYC often as well. I love the seasonal variety and endless toppings to choose from with no restrictions. I never feel hungry or left unsatisfied. It's extremely well seasoned and flavorful with great spices and sauces-- particularly love their dips. It's a great fast-casual place that gives you of the Mediterranean right in Greenwich. read more

Delicious food but once I looked up the sodium levels I had to slow my roll and eat here less! =(

Good food and good service. The staff was friendly and quick. Everything was fully stocked. The staff worked well in team fashion!

Newly opened. It has a different layout than the Cosi one. Brightly lit and feels spacious. At first it ooked smaller than the previous one. The people flow is more like a "P" with one coming in then making a right through the serving line and then back out. The staff is friendly and food is good. I got the salad lowl and I loved it. Fountain drinks are the more artisan type... not big brand like Coke, Pepsi read more

Love all the options and all the different combinations you can get here! Staff was helpful and kind when I asked to get some of the spreads and dressings on the side to try. Definitely a great place to grab a quick meal - chipotle style where you get to pick and choose from different bases, proteins, toppings, and dressings, and can customize your meal anyway you want! Highly recommend trying their juices too! Reasonable price too! read more

Nice place to try the different food really like the quality of the food definitely recommend to friends and neighborhood

The staff here is abysmal. They make me feel as if I shouldn't even be walking through the door. I've never seen people hate their job so much, as well as look at each and every customer with such disgust. They even get angry when I ask for double chicken(YES, I know I'm paying extra.. and it's okay) they act as if I'm trying to sneak a freebie on them. Management needs to do a total revamp with the staff; based on other reviews, that seems to be the main issue. read more

we needed dinner quickly but wasn't in the mood for the usual Chipotle or pizza and I'm so happy I found Cava in Greenwich. The staff is so friendly, efficient and polite. The place was immaculate and the food was fresh, hot and prefect. Why we bother with other casual dining places is beyond me. This location left me so impressed- the portions are genrous and prepared perfectly. Amazing staff! i wNtwd to leave a tip but no way to.. please consider adding that option . read more

Absolutely amazing. Very tasty mediterranean bowl with generous portions. All of the ingredients tasted super fresh and blended well. Resturant was very clean and well lit. Made me want to dine in. This is my new favorite resturant, And I have been to all the popular lunch spots in midtown. They do not hold back on the meat or over charge for double meat like Dig Inn or Roast do. This is amazing food for lifting because they give a ton of protein and filling hearty ingredients. I ordered double meat, but I really didn't need to. they give you enough already. Also this place has mexicane coca cola which I also really like. The price was very cheap for what you get. Also the selection of ingredients is such that you can order a ton of different combos. Next time I will try the half lamb and half chicken. read more

If I could give negative stars i would! The absolute worst food I have ever had. The fist time I have ever sent my food back. I ordered the chicken Marsala and it was like a can of brown gravy was poured on it. Disgusting! The place is beautiful but they really need to hire a new chef! Not worth the insane prices. Also, an fyi they block you on fb instantly if you leave a negative comment. Which is extremely immature. read more

the food was really nice and light. the place was extremely cold though and there is no visible menu. the music is loud and it is hard to hear the servers so they gave me the kids pita instead of the pita. they are also not that friendly and they just seemed to want to finish the order. i didn't mind though because the kids one was a nice size. would go again for the food but the people and the ambiance was not what it could have been read more

It's my second time here I decided to give it another try. I didn't like it I got the pita falafel wrap. The pita was hard and difficult to chew. The girl helping me through something in the trash which was completely over flowing and they proceeded to assist me. I didn't say anything bc she then put gloves on (thank goodness) The dressings are ok. I really wanted to like it but I didn't. I will not be returning. For $10 for a falafel with barely anything In it I just don't find t worth it. 2 stars for the dressings and nice staff but if it weren't for that I'd give it 1 star. read more

Such a fantastic new please for Greenwich! It's like a Dig Inn and Cosi, just a Mediterranean twist involved. I built my own bowl which was very good the pita is so good! Every thing taste so good together. I love that you can put as many toppings as you want for no extra charge. All of this deliciousness for about $9.00. Proteins you pay for extra which is understandable. I've only had the grilled chicken so far and can't wait to try more. Their hummus is delicious. They have so many sauces the tahini lemon is so good! Can't wait to try the others and to go back. New favorite spot for lunch while at work. read more

This place is great! It opened in the location where Cosi used to be and I have to say - what an improvement! I've been twice in the past week and I absolutely love the freshness of the food, the quality of the food (no wilted greens here, y'all), and the price ($9 for an enormous salad and pita? Yes, PLEASE!) The concept is fairly simple. You can either build your own pita, salad, or grain bowl online or in store. They have a variety of base grains, greens, and pita for you to choose from and then you can load them up with a variety of protein (lamb meatballs, chicken, falafel, etc.) and toppings such as roasted veggies, pickled peppers, cucumber, tomato, mint, hummus, tzatziki, cauliflower and quinoa tabbouleh, currants, carrots, feta... The list goes on and on. And their dressings are amazing - I highly recommend the yellow pepper tahini dressing or the green harissa dressing. The best part for me is that this enormous salad (without the pita) usually tends to be around 430 calories, which is great considering how filling it is. If you're a health-conscious individual you'll definitely like this place! If you're a vegetarian minded individual you'll like the customization available here - it's definitely more on the vegetable side of things! Also, I've also ordered online and I prefer that to ordering in the store. The system is super easy to use and you can pick your delivery slot, pay, skip the line, and show up to pick up your food. Super simple and super easy! I also love that they use plant-based materials for their bags and utensils so you don't feel guilty about plastic waste, either. Overall 10/10! read more

This place is amazing! Delicious, healthy, and filling. The concept is similar to Digg Inn (also a great option in this area) but with a Mediterranean spin and much larger portions. Lots of choices between proteins, bases, sides and sauces so there is something for everyone here. Pita bread and falafel are probably the best I've ever had anywhere! read more

Great concept: Chipotle-style build your own salad w protein options including beef, lamp and falafel. A vegan or vegetarian's delight. Fast service, great food and low prices. read more

Just opened and thank goodness it did!!! This will be a staple for anyone that wants a healthy meal for a low price. It's flavorful, you choose exactly what you want and you will not bring disappointed. I loved their roasted vegetables, sauces, etc. this is by far the best "chain" to frequent. read more

The food is great here. Wish they delivered but so worth having to go pick it up. They're always very timely with our online orders. They've messed up here and there but no major mistakes and we understand it happens. The website for ordering online is great overall, but sometimes there's glitches with that. I've contacted customer service via email twice and they gave us credit to our account both times for the inconveniences experienced. They're great. Definitely try it out if you like Mediterranean food! read more

Has the ability to be good as the food flavors and sauces are great. A bit skimpy for the price. Have been many times for dinner and even for lunch but it seems the food is always picked over on the good things and other stuff is getting a little long in the tooth. The staff is slow and very not proactive. Often the ice machine is empty too. With a management and staff change this place would be a 4 or 5. I hope it improves as the location is good. read more

I came back to this location after 8 months because my daughter invited me not because I want to go. Unfortunately, I had today the same bad experience than 8 months ago. The manager was so rude correcting the new employees (servers) in front of the clientele and she (manager) was discourteous and impolite. They need to train their personnel on the back so when they are ready send them to the front to be more helpful with the customers and expedite the orders. All employees and specially the manager must have a customer service training. read more

I tried this on a whim. Very surprised at how good it was. The flavors are a bit exotic but still very friendly. The freshness and amount of food are very hard to beat. If you normally eat Chipotle or anything like that this is a nice alternative to give you a break from the norm. Absolutely worth a try. read more

Phenomenal. Fresh, tasty, clean, modern. Teas are exceptional. Decor is sleek and modern. There's love put into this "franchise" I will be back anytime I am in Greenwich hungry or not. I'll just bring some home for later read more

Horrible customer service 8pm reservation food did not come out until 9:30. Had to get our food in to go containers and instead of comp the check he told us just not give server a tip and warm our food up ‼TRASH I will never return read more

Untrained and disinterested staff for marginal at best food. Not going back unless no where else to eat that day. Small portions with multiple upcharge items . Not going again read more

The first two times I came here, I was so excited to have found such a delicious spot with great vegetarian options, healthy options and yummy drinks. I've tried going about 6 more times, and every time since then the quality has gone down a LOT. First, it was the salad, they seemed to change their greens mix, it wasn't chopped properly or something, and then it became the service. The girls working there were all chatting to each other and even gossiping to a co-worker who seemed to be on break or off the clock, literally yelling over the customers to gossip with each other. Then finally today, I tried one more time, and the "roasted vegetables" I always order were completely raw. Uncooked Brussels sprouts, cauliflower and butternut squash isn't really very yummy or easy to eat! Da dot see this spot become disappointing. read more

Great Mediterranean cuisine, cafeteria-style, build your own plate type of place. Really good food. More a lunch place than dinner, but has a bright sunny dining room. A++++ read more

The food was just ok, but, the problem at this place are the employees. They truly act like they are doing you a favor answering a question. Just pathetic. I would never go again just after that experience. The owners of this place need to get rid of all of them and start from scratch. read more

Loved their food! Had it twice and it hasn't disappointed yet. All ingredients are fresh and tasty. Staff is pretty courteous and accommodating. Hope they'll offer more protein options as well as delivery service but overall they're pretty good. Will be coming back soon! read more

The chicken was cold and sweaty which was weird .. the staff was unprofessional, having conversations about their nails while making my bowl. The juices and the appearance was the only thing great and preventing me from putting a 1 star. Needs new staff members. ASAP read more

Cava is one of my FAVORITE places to eat. It's super healthy, and completely fills me up (not to mention great prices for Greenwich). Venessa, the manager is super friendly and really makes you feel welcome! Definitely a regular go-to spot for me. read more

This place has very poor customer service, they have a major attitude that's uncalled for. On Sunday the lentil in my bowl is hardly cooked, I didn't bother even mentioning cause the employee had a major dissatisfied face while making my food. Very disappointed. read more

So the food is really good, fairly cheap, and surprisingly one of the few types of cuisine that was sorely missing from the Greenwich market. However, they're inexplicably not on Seamless (the former Cosi located here was), and therefore missing an entire market. With the generous budgets given to employees for lunch around here by hedge funds, it's a pretty surprising miss by management. I can't think of another similar type of place in Greenwich that isn't on Seamless. I know they have delivery in other locations as well so it's a strange choice, and one I hope they change in the future. read more

I was so excited about this place when we first tried it, reminded me of a place I used to eat at very often when I worked in NYC, ordered a handful of times and never had any problem until yesterday. I've always ordered online and picked up so never had a ton of interaction with the staff. Today, I ordered food and to my dismay, there was a shower like WAD of hair right on the top of my bowl. Initially, when I called for a refund, I was told "to come back in for another bowl" and I said absolutely not. The manager then told me I can only request refunds through the LEVELUP app I ordered through, which is not true, they said they couldn't do it and it had to be done by the location. Ultimately, I called back and I am now waiting for my refund to post but when I called back the manager said "oh I was going to try to call you back but I didn't know your name". Terrible all around I would say and I am totally mortified at the entire experience and unfortunately won't return, neither will my colleagues. read more

This place is honestly a hit or miss. Sometimes the food is fresh and amazing and sometimes stale and bland. The main reason why I only give one star is because of the staff. They are extremely rude and dismissive. They are not welcoming in the least bit. They seem extremely annoyed with everyone. All I see is them on their phones constantly and not giving a shit to say the least. read more
