Definitely NOT a fan anymore. A few months ago I ordered a veggie burger from Green & Tonic through our company's account on Seamless. For my first time with them everything turned out wonderful! The following week I ordered the same exact burger only to find that it didn't come with hamburger buns. I called in and the manager tried to convince me that I should have selected that option on the menu. I was kind of puzzled because when previously ordered, I had to do no such thing, PLUS since when do burgers come without buns?? Kinda like peanut butter with no jelly! After fixing my order, management assured me that adding hamburger buns will be a feature on my next order. Needless to say, the following week I dealt with the same thing. To top it off the veggie burger crumbled like the twin towers at the slightest touch. I decided to take a break from them for a few months, hoping their service would improve, but after today I WILL NEVER order from them again. While eating my chickpea masala I spat out a full blown fingernail hanging. I thought I was loosing my mind so I asked my colleagues for a second opinion. I called in and was offered for my lunch to be replaced. Absolutely not! For that type of pricing I expect much more from them. Definitely will never go there again.

I have tried a lot of different Açaí bowls in my life, and Green & Tonic's Açaí bowl is by far the best. It taste's great whether you eat it for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or dessert- my husband and I love it. We love it so much we never try anything new, but after hearing about how great their newest product is we had to try it for ourselves. It's a vegan grilled cheese made with cashew cheese on gluten-free bread and it did not disappoint. I paired it with their basil tomato soup and it was a lethal combo. Super yummy and definitely worth checking out. Highly recommend!

Yelped this place driving home from Stamford. Ordered the Zenergy smoothie and added vanilla protein - matcha green tea, banana, spinach, almond butter, coconut mylk, cinnamon and bee pollen. Really tasty combination of ingredients, all the ingredients blended together really well and the added protein didn't mess with the flavor. Would definitely order from here again, lots of other interesting smoothie combos on the menu, they do acai bowls, juices and prepared foods too. Would love to try more.

Amazing healthy vegan plant based food. Your body will love you for eating here. The spicy avocado wrap is absolutely delicious. Also the pomegranate kale salad is yummy. The cookies and muffins are great too.

My healthy home-away-from-home. Don' know what i would do without it in Cos Cob! A G&T stop is my favorite way to start the day, and I love looking out on the Mill Pond from the big open window seat while I sip my smoothie... a great meeting spot too, despite the whirring blender and hustle-bustle...

This is my absolute favorite juice/smoothie spot. I've been a regular at this location for more than 8 years and in my opinion better than the Greenwich location. It's much more spacious, brighter and less noisy. My usual order is the Açaí bowl, but I can be adventurous too and have explored the other bowl specials they offer. They change them up as well which makes the company even more worthwhile. I prefer thicker smoothies over juices and watery ones, which is why this place gets my 5 stars. Between the smoothies and the smoothie bowls you cannot go wrong, and you'll be full for hours. Protein packed, antioxidant bursting, and fueled with fruits and nuts, these products are to die for in the morning. The flavors are also incredibly rich and natural, you can tell there is no added sugars or other bolsters. A little pricey, but nothing you wouldn't expect at an upscale juice spot in NYC. They could easily beat out any other health food locations in my opinion.

I've been a massive fan of Jean-Georges ever since my days hitting up ABC Kitchen near Union…read moreSquare. Whenever I had meetings at our NYC office, I'd grab a seat at the bar there just to see what was new on the seasonal menu. So, when I heard he was bringing his culinary brilliance to Greenwich Avenue, I was ecstatic. Happy Monkey definitely lives up to the hype, but with a totally different energy. It's a "fun-loving Latin restaurant," and the vibe is spot on--bright, laid-back, and stylish without being stuffy. The black and white tiled floors and all the lanterns and plants hanging from the ceiling give it a really cool, relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to settle in and stay a while. The bar program is solid. They have a full selection, but the margaritas and sangria seemed to be the move for most tables. As for the food, it was incredible. Here's the breakdown: * Arroz con Pollo: This is the absolute "must-have" dish. Just a heads up: it takes about 30 minutes to cook, so give yourself at least an hour for the full experience. It is well worth the wait. * Sizzling Shrimp with Garlic: Exactly what you want it to be--fragrant, buttery, and delicious. * Organic Chipotle Chicken Tacos: Super fresh and had that signature Jean-Georges "pop" of flavor. * Crispy Calamari: Perfectly fried and a great way to kick off the meal. You can really feel the JG influence here--everything feels lighter and more vibrant than your typical heavy Latin fare. It's great to finally have this level of cooking right here in Greenwich. Whether you're a longtime fan of his NYC spots or just looking for a great new dinner hang, this place is a win.

The mixed reviews here are a little confusing, if I'm being honest. It's a Jean Georges restaurant…read morethrough and through, and I'm not sure I'm aligned with where some of the disappointment lies. I suppose it's a pro that it's never been hard to get into, but maybe this spot hasn't quite found its groove yet. As a frequenter of Matador Room in Miami, I see a lot of similarities on the menu (and some of the same dishes, and the overall vibe) which make it that much easier to get food that brings me to Miami without actually having to go there. Namely -- the hot sauce on every table (not a "food" but integral to the JG experience), the ginger margarita (liquids are food), the maitake mushroom, the sweet pea guac, and the always amazing Arroz con Pollo. I'm sure there is more, but this is what stands out to me. So for starters, any of those are fantastic choices. We recently went for brunch and added the tuna tartare, a few salads, a burger, and the baked eggs to the list. My only caution, and I say this with deep regret, is that the baked eggs are VERY baked. I was imaging something more like a loose bake, shakshouka style, but I clearly did not read the menu very hard. We capped it all off with the tres leches (YES) and the Mexican chocolate pudding. Drink the drinks, eat the rice, and put the bright orange hot sauce on everything. Yes, it's not cheap, but what else did you expect in Greenwich?

The low light ambiance and music was definitely giving adults-only vibes. What I really liked was being able to talk and hear because the volume level of the music was just right. Our waiter was attentive and would check-in on us from time to time, ensuring our experience was the best. He had quite a friendly and genuine demeanor about him (sorry, I don't remember his name but he wore glasses and had dark hair). The margarita pizza, wine, and desserts (didn't have lava cake so I tried their chocolate mousse) were delightful to indulge. But when my entree came it was so disappointing. I ordered the hanger steak cook medium. It was cooked to temp but had to be the chewiest steak Ive ever had. The steak knife wouldnt even cut through it. The knife basically ripped the steak apart. It also came with the largest broccolini I have ever seen. It was basically broccoli but ultimately was under cooked for how large the stalks were. I did try the desserts but they looked good.

Once we were seated the waiter arrived asking about drinks which we declined in favor of bottled water, i ordered coffee as well and was offered 1 whole cup. Nobody came around for refill the rest of the meal We each ordered an appetizer and a main, both of our mains featuring 2sunny side up. 15 -20 minutes later BOTH entrees and my appetizer arrive WTF? After that our server just seemed to disappear. My daughter had hangar steak & eggs. I had the pork carnitas and eggs. Both our order's eggs were ordered sunny side up. Typically it's the yolks that are runny but both of our orders had runny whites as well. All this time we waited on the other appetizer to arrive. For a place that was not very busy the service was galactically awful. The food was passable but not great. The banana bread appetizer arrived as the busboy came to take our entree dishes. And that was after 2 reminders to our waiter (both appetizers were taken to go). Whoever is running this place (nobody game by asking how our meal was) should be embarrassed. When i spoke with our waiter about the abysmal service he passed it off on the busboy! There is no sense of teamwork nor pride in doing a good job. Sad.

All three were fantastic. The breakfast pizza had us craving more, and the oysters were fresh, delicious, and delicately shucked. I tried the chilaquiles and the short rib hash. The chilaquiles were very good, despite being a bit different from the red-sauce version I'm used to. But omg, the short rib hash was SO GOOD. This is an absolute killer dish. I've never been a huge fan of hollandaise sauce, but they put it on the side for me, and honestly, it blended extremely well with the flavors of the hash. The "5 O'Clock Somewhere" cocktail is refreshing and gave me a very light buzz that paired well with the delicious options we ordered. The staff is friendly and very attentive, and the spot itself is very clean, spacious, and stunning. I would definitely visit this spot again.
