We got 3 of the OG bowls. One with almond butter. They were very good. All of the ingredients were extremely fresh. The mango was perfectly ripe. We got the 16oz size and the price was comparable to the prices at other places we have been at in different areas of the country but I feel like the amount of food we received was more than other places. We ate there and I feel I barely out a dent in my bowl. We took the rest to go. I ate a little more back at my hotel and I still have about half left. If you plan to eat there, know there is not much space to sit but the space is clean and have many other options that looked equally delicious! The lady taking our order was nice as well. I was in the mood for a smoothie or an açaí bowl and got super excited to see this place has açaí bowls. Ordered a large OG açaí bowl with granola on the side. The manager gave me two containers of granola being that I ordered the large size, which I thought was very nice of her. When I picked up the container it felt heavy. I opened up the bag and there was a fairly decent amount of açaí and fruit in the bowl. The presentation was neat and got me super excited to dig in. My first bite was beyond disappointing. The açaí was at room temperature and extremely sweet, I couldn't eat more than three spoonfuls... I thought there was honey in the açaí bowl, but confirmed it wasn't the case when I tried the açaí alone. I ate all the fruit and left all the açaí untouched. read more

If I could give this place 10 stars I would! & I'd give them all my money too LOL! I'm obsessed with the banana mania protein shake. It's delicious and keeps me full throughout most of the day! Every Wednesday they offer $4 off a large banana mania so be sure to take advantage of the sale on a weekly basis! I tried this cinnamon crunch açaí bowl for the first time today and I'm BLOWN AWAY by the taste! Their OG açaí bowl is another favorite of mine. The ingredients they use are always fresh and never frozen so the quality is impeccable. The staff is really friendly and you'll get your order nice and quick. I had a local flavor coupon. I wasted over 30 minutes talking to the manager and cashier about using it. It clearly had the dates and the right location and she said it was "wrong." Now they have it up again on local flavor for another promotion. They have terrible service. read more

I ordered an acai bowl. The acai was super sweet. It honestly didn't even seem healthy. I'm curious if they add sugar or syrup to the acai because it was unlike any acai bowl I've ever had. I was hoping to have a healthy meal but didn't feel that way after eating. read more

I've been to Juice Kings twice now since it opened. The first time I got a juice, and the second time, I got a smoothie. Both were super tasty. They have two big glass coolers right as you walk in where they keep all the fruit, so you can see that everything looks very fresh! Their whole menu is dairy free, so a great option for vegans (some of the menu items do have honey, but it's clearly called out). Staff was very welcoming...both times, they had me try my drink to make sure I liked it before I left. It's not cheap, but it's in line with what I'd expect a place like this to charge. I had one of the worst welcoming experience although its my first time being there as a black African American; mind you its only 4:53 before closing, a lady with grey leggings approached me with the rudest remarks . I live in Brooklyn NY where there are hundreds maybe thousands of juice bars. When I am out of town I am always looking for healthy places to eat. I was visiting Stamford this weekend and I found Juice Kings. Let me tell you this place is AMAZING! When you walk in you can smell the freshness. They have EVERYTHING! From Seamoss to Blackseed to Wheatgrass. So many healthy options! I ordered my juice with a shot on the side called the Vaccine! It had zinc and elderberry in it. They thought of everything! Their smoothies are delicious! I love all of the seamoss smoothies, especially KOD, since it has the perfect amount of sweetness while still being healthy. The staff is very friendly and also very accommodating when it comes to make additions, or removing certain ingredients from their smoothies. I made a request to remove honey from one of my smoothies and a staff member asked if I would like to add agave (a lower sugar alternative) when I went to pick it up. Drinks are average and expensive but the service is what's terrible. Slowest service I have ever had. They barely looked up when we entered and then I ordered a simple smoothie that took, I counted, 13 minutes to make. The lady making my order has clearly finished and before calling out my name she started on another persons order and it took her 5 minutes to hand it to someone to put a cap on it and then call out my name. read more
